CHAPTER 3&4
Desmond’s mansion.

Diana slump onto the bed, her eyes dilating with tiredness etched at her features, legs wide spread, and hands too.
Desmond fell beside her,his breath ragged.
Diana sigh again.
Desmond chuckled,“you’d been sighing quite often .” Des noted.
Diana sighed again, earning a glance from hubby.
“sorry, can’t help it!” Ana said with a sad pout.
Desmond grinned,raising his hands to brush her lips, “miss her already?”
Ana nodded_ vigorously.
Desmond smiled, “ me too.” Des confessed, earning a raised brow from Ana.
“wow! What a world. ”
Des turned facing her innocent, “what do you mean. I can’t miss my sister again?”
Diana laughed,“ was just saying?”
Des rolled his eyes,focusing his glance back to the ceiling
Diana was staring into space too, her mind reeling with several thoughts.
“the mansion is gonno get borer soon!”
Des turned,his hot glances scotching Diana’s face.
“why so? You’re here amour. As long as you’re here_ in this mansion,nothing will get boring.”
Diana turned,now eyes to eyes with her hubby_ she smiled.“aww! That was touching. ” Ana said with a pout, while touching her chest.
Des laughed.
“didn’t know my hubby is an incentive hot l…….
“don’t! ” Des said cutting her off.
Ana laughed_ really hard.
“look how serious your face is__ can’t joke with you any more?” Ana teased.
Des grinned,“no offense taken, my love.”
Diana chuckled, as she went quiet again.
only the soft sounds of rising and falling of their chest could be heard.
Diana slid to her side, watching her Hubby’s outlined frame.
She was barely able to make out more than the shapes and lines of it in the darkness.
The soft glows from the light was barely illustrating enough.
“ when are you starting your antenatal class?”
Diana rose her brow,“ I didn’t register for that….
“why?” Des asked, in a stubble voice.
“i have classes tommorow, can’t be going to the hospital on a regular basis.”
Des face Ana, in a long pause. Before looking away.
Diana shifted closer_ so close that she could drink from his essence.
With a soft low whispers, she asked, “ can I start class by tommorow? ”
Des didn’t turn to look at her, his eyes straight and expressionless. “No!”
Diana gasped, stunned. She opened her mouth to rebuke him,“why….?” Diana gulped. Swallowing back her words.
“honey, I….I can’t be staying home all day!”
Des turned,cuz he was forced to. This night, he wanted it to end peacefully. So she shouldn’t push him.
“That’s why you’ve to take up antenatal classes! ”
“I still can and be going to class too, babe!”
“Must you go to school physically? I can hire professors to teach you indoors.”
Diana shook her head.
“No! No! I don’t want that! I want to go to classes like every one else.”
Des shook his head.
“whatever,I need to sleep now.”
Diana leaned closer,pressing a soft kiss on his cheeks,“can I?”ana asked.
Des turned,so close that their lips were touching.
“can you?” he asked, in a hoarse voice.
“attend class tommorow? ”
Des groaned turning away, “Are we still on this?”
“you haven’t said anything, I can attend both…..
“As what__ a robot? Must you go….
“yes, Please!”
Des sigh shrugging, “do whatever makes you happy!”
“aww!! Really? You’re the best„I love you!!!” Ana said hugging her hubby.
Desmond only shook his head.
“ Good night,”
Diana peck her Hubby’s lips, “Good night babe, love you!”
Des kissed her back, with a wide grin, “love you too.”he said,before pulling the duvet over their bodies……

Desmond mansion.
Diana opened her eyes, blinking while adjusting to the brightness of the room.
Diana turned,facing where her hubby slept last night_ she was graced with emptiness promoting her to jerk up with alert glances.
A rap sounded at the door.
Diana yawn,sliding down into her flip-flops.
She went for the door thinking it was her hubby,as soon as she opened it_ she was greeted by Ava’s smiling face.
“good morning ma’am.”
“how’re you?”
“I’m fine ma’am,ready to shower?”
Diana nodded, stepping outside for Ava to enter.
Ava smiled before walking in.
She was graces by the the intoxicating smell of Jasmine
Ava smiled walking into the dressing room to pick a lovely outfits for her lady.
Diana shook her head closing the door, she went straight to the bathroom but paused when she saw a piece of paper torn flipping on her makeup table.
Ana walk to the dressing table_ the paper was wedged by a perfume glass.
Diana took it and read through. It was a letter which was scribbled with few but straight forward words

Good morning sunshine
Meet me downstairs, once you’re done reading this letter.
* Hubby.*
Diana drop the letter and bolted for the door.
She shut the door behind her and went for the steps. her footsteps hard and heavy on the fine stairs.
Diana stop at the last stairs when she sighted her Hubby His back was turned against her_ firm and broad.
He turned immediately as if perceiving her smell, he face her with a smile.
Diana briefly scan him, He was putting on a muscle_fit tank, paired with hot joggers.
As he walked toward her he smelled like coffee.
“Good morning.” Diana greeted stepping down fully.
Des flashed her one if his charming bad boy smile, powerful enough to send a girl’s out fluttering .
“how was your night? ”Des asked as soon as they were next to neck.
His hands went to her hair, tucking the strands.
Diana blushed,“fine, and yours? ”
“cool your grace.”
Diana blush more,covering her face.
Desmond chuckled at her childish behavior.
“you left a letter?”
Des nodded,“ I’ve a surprise for you.”
Diana’s brow rose Inquisitively,“what’s that?”
Desmond chuckled, “watch and see.”
Desmond brought out a blindfold…
Diana frowned,“ what’s that?”
Dsmomd didn’t answer as he went ahead to blindfold her eyes.
Diana gulped,now graced with darkness and emptiness.
“here comes my surprise, don’t worry trust me,I’m here for you okay.”
Diana nodded,licking her lips.
Desmond took her hands as he led her outside.
As soon as they were outside morning breeze swept Diana’s hair,while she was trying to keep up with her Hubby’s pace.
Moreover,she was curious and excited too.
Desmond stop,prompting Ana to stop too,curious and anxious.
Desmond step closer, his fingers gracing her skin as he went for the blindfold.
He untied it,letting it fall off her face, releasing her sight.
Diana opened her eyes,first thing she saw was her
hubby smiling down at her.
She lifted up her glance beyond her hubby_ she saw a big blue sparkling car in front of her.
Massive and flashing like a star in its full glory.
The car was looking lustrous and splendours.
Desmond stretch forth his hands,revealing a dangling car keg.
Diana gasped,covering her mouth with her shaky palm.
“congrats baby. Happy mother’s day.”
Diana’s eyes blurred.
“Des….. Hubby!” Diana screamed shocked and shaken with sobs.
“M….mine?”
“yes momma,” Desmond said with a nod,while grinning sheepishly.
Diana shouted, her happiness exploding like volcanic eruption.
before she could stop herself she jumped on him….

♣ASHWOOD university.♠
A blue sparkling roll Royce phantom drove into the university gate,earning stares, gasps and admiration from the students as it drove passed.
It parked in front of the parking lots which was almost filled up.
Curious eyes gathered together watching, whispering and marveling.
A Roll Royce phantom???,
That car was damn billions!!
Whosoever drove that car, was the richest in ASHWOOD cuz no one in history have driven a phantom,talk less a Royce.
Darn! People couldn’t wait to catch a glimpse.
They couldn’t wait to run their mouth.
Fred step down, as he went to open the door for; Diana who step down from the car opened widely for her by Fred, as she step down.
heads turned.
Mouth gasped.
Lips moved.
👥omg! Who’s she?
👤 haven’t seen her?
👤 she darn hot!
👥 and such also!
👤 look at her dressed, so expensive, even her bags.
👥 wow! I’m envious
👤 I can’t wait to befriend her.
👤 me too!!
👤wow even her shoes is giving!
Diana hung her bag in her shoulder,she didn’t act as if they were talking to her,nor did she acknowledge their gathering.
They were so compiled,so crowded and compressed that if she wants to pass them. She’ll have to press her way through.
But she was ready for that.
Nah, she was pregnant and pressing herself amidst crowds will make her faint.
She turned, her only option was to follow the school garden.
As she turned to make her way out_ a familiar voice called her name.
A voice she so much dread.
Diana’s breathe etched.
Her eyes dilated.
“By the gods!” Diana shouted a soon as she turned and met the shock of her life……
