After recuperating with her brother a week ago in the hospital, Diana and her brother return home and continued living their normal lives but things weren’t the same as before.
Here inside her apartment, Diana argues with Mike over resuming his relationship with Ijeoma. The young man who had made up his mind to severe his bonds with Ijeoma was confronted from his sister from all sides.

Diana ➡ Yeah but we’re alive. Look, I know you’re angry but Ijeoma needs you. She’s hurt in more ways than one. Not only did she get humiliated but she has lost her herself. She’s in a place right now that only you can get her out of. She needs support. Watching us hanging at death’s door has scared her mind. I bet that right now she’s hating herself for mistakenly putting us into this mess. You can’t leave her like this, she needs you.

Touched by his sister’s words, Mike shifts uncomfortably on the couch and trying not to be persuaded but Diana didn’t let up, she kept on talking and talking, buttering up Ijeoma into her brother’s ears.

Diana ➡ Don’t be cruel Mike, what she did was a mistake. Everyone messes up big time in their lives after all we’re human. Just give her another chance and don’t forget she risked all to come save you. You can’t leave her in her moment of need.
Couples are supposed to tolerate each other and that’s what you should be doing, after all this is her first time of messing up this bad.

Finally, after a long week of recuperating in the hospital, I was finally discharged together with Diana and Mike out of the hospital. I wish I could have said that life was back to normal like it was before but it isn’t.
3 days had passed since I was discharged from the hospital and not for once did I step out of my house. I was confined in my room feeling guilty about what happened that night with Black Ace.
To be honest, I wasn’t myself at all. In fact, I felt like I’ve lost myself in that damned house that night. Everything seemed lost to me and I could barely even feel alive. Diana may not have been mad about this but I’m certain that Mike has flipped his lid over this. I can’t blame him if he decides not to get back with me again cause thanks to my stubbornness, his sister was nearly killed.
As much as I wanted to apologize to Mike, I was ashamed to make any eye contact with him. Only God knows how he’d react if we crossed paths and no amount of apology would change the fact that he and his sister almost got killed. I just hope that he finds it in his heart to forgive me.
One evening as I sat on the couch gluing my eyes on my TV screen, I heard a knock on the door. At first I pretended not to hear it but as the second knock came I decided to go check out who it was.
No words could describe how shock and speechless I was when I saw the person behind my door. It was Mike. To be honest, he’s the last person I expected to see at all. After opening the door, Mike and I stared at each other awkwardly for a while before I allowed him in.
Moments later as we both sat on separate couch, Mike and I never said a word to each other, we both looked away feeling somewhat nervous. Finally after a while, Mike found the courage to speak.

To be honest, I’ve been disturbed and having nightmares of that night. There are alot of things that I could take but this… This is just……(sobs)

The pressure was too much for me that I couldn’t help crying, I fought back hard trying to hold back the tears that gathered in my eyes but I couldn’t. Mike took me by surprise as he came and sat next to me putting his arms around me. I on the other hand didn’t hesitate to use his chest as my crying pillow. For a while, Mike and I sat that way, his grip on my body became tighter and even though he didn’t console me, he did caress me softly as I wept.

Ever since I saved that detective and her friends from the jaws of Death, I haven’t heard or seen Elizabeth since then. A week had already passed since that incident and there has been no sign of Elizabeth. She never answered any of my calls or texts and she hasn’t showed up in the house either.
I figured out that she was still mad at me for what happened so I decided to give her a little time to cool off but to be sincere, I really missed her.
I wish I could say life was normal but it isn’t. First, there’s the absence of Elizabeth, then there’s the increased inflation of the economy. My job as a therapist hasn’t been doing any good not to mention that I haven’t gotten a call from the organization to do my job.
Although, its been a while since I was called by the organization. They must have decided they don’t need me anymore now since Elizabeth has now been tamed. I wished they could have notified me first but there wasn’t time for me to worry about that.
Using the money I have in my bank accounts, I decided to start a little business since that was what everyone was doing these days but the idea of which business I wanted to start was the problem. Nigeria is a country with alot of people with creative minds and with that vast amount of people with good business ideas, one has been be creative and unique. There are alot of businesses going on in Nigeria and the ones that fetch more money are online business and thankfully I know just where to start.
Online marketing ? is a good start for a business and with the internet filled with online sales and businesses , I know I’ve found a gold mine.
Some might think that I’m wasting my time but online businesses pay very well especially the ones that people seem to underestimate and with the money I have I was good to start my online venture.
However before I could start doing any of these things, I was halted by sudden and unexpected visit from my mom. One hot afternoon as I was at home creating accounts for my online business, I got a call from my mom whom I haven’t spoken to in months. Some might think that I have an unhealthy relationship with my mom but it’s not like that. My mom is busy woman and hustler, she’s not the kind of person that likes to keep in touch either, she’s always busy doing her own thing.
