The door opened and exposed Myles with a surprised look on his face, he looked shocked to see Dora at his doorstep to make it worst, she was standing with Norman.
“Dora” he looked at Norman confusedly before facing Dora back again, “What are you doing here?” He asked confusedly
Instead of replying, Dora came to hug him tight and again Myles was taken back
“I’m sorry for getting mad at you papa” she sobbed softly.
Myles felt a bit confused but happy that she has come back to him, he slowly wrapped his hands around her, hugging her back
“What are you sorry for you silly girl, I lied to you and I’m the one who should be sorry” he replied, still hugging her tightly
“And I was supposed to understand that it’s not your fault, I’m sorry papa” she sniffed
“Stop crying, Norman is watching you. Do you want him to see how ugly you are when you cry?” Myles teased and Norman chuckled from behind
When Dora heard Norman chuckle, she pulled away from Myles and turned to face him with a glare
“Why the hell are you laughing! It’s true isn’t it, I look ugly when I cry right!?” She stood akimbo
“Babe you know I’ve seen you cry a lot and you still look pretty” he smiled.
“Better, I’ll tolerate anyone that call me ugly but you dare do that..” she used her hands as an imaginary knife to slash her neck.
“Hey when did you turn vicious?” Norman asked playfully but she just winkled at him.
Myles got enough of watching them so he cleared his throat to get their attention
“You two should come in, it’s cold out” he said
“Uncle, you know it’s Dora that’ll catch a cold” Norman replied
“Hey what to you mean!” Dora snapped at him and he just scooped her up in his arms in reply
“Hey Norman put me down, papa!!” She complained but the both of them ignored her and went in.

Next Day, Michelle’s Restaurant**
“Don’t you think you were to harsh with Cole?” Pearl asked the moment Lisa and her stepped in
“What did I do wrong? I just told him I wasn’t interested in him when he asked me out so how did I turn to the bad person?” Lisa frowned
Earlier today when Lisa and Pearl got to school they may everywhere dark then next thing the lights came on and there was sprinkles along with a beautiful decoration that says: Will you be my girlfriend Lisa..
Then next thing, Cole came to her with a huge flower and a card, he stopped at her front with a smile and began confessing or was it bragging about his feelings to her.
Then Lisa said no and everyone began calling her mean names and also giving her mean looks, like it’s a crime to turn someone down, what about when Norman turned her down in the past, did anyone complain?
Lisa shook her head and went to meet Ryder who was just looking at the both of them from the kitchen
“Hey River, is it harsh to turn a guy down?” She asked
“No it’ll hurt but what happened?” He asked
“Remember that Mini Mayor I told you about?”
“Yes what about him?”
“He confessed his feelings publicly to me and I turned him down because I don’t like him now everyone thinks I’m wicked” she rolled her eyes
Ryder smiled and she failed to notice it, he cleared his throat and wrapped his arms around her shoulders
“It’s okay if you don’t like him, loving someone isn’t by force” he replied
“Thank you” Lisa sighed and Pearl rolled her eyes
“Right I’ll be going back to school next month which means I’ll quit working here” Ryder announced
“What??” Both Lisa and Pearl screamed as they faced him
“You’re leaving?” Lisa asked slowly
“No I’m just going back to school but I’ll still come visit sometimes” he replied
“Oh” Lisa muttered and nodded, she’s trying to act as if she doesn’t care but she those
“Hey” he tapped her and she looked at him
“Will you miss me when I go?” He asked and she scoffed
“You wish!” She lied but her insides were screaming something different
“You won’t miss me at all?” He asked
“Not even one bit” she scoffed and walked away immediately
“Running away I see” Ryder shook his head and smiled
“You didn’t ask if I’ll miss you?” Pearl walked up to him and pouted like a child
“Will you?”
“Yes” she replied and he pinched her cheek lightly
“Better don’t let your boyfriend here this” he chuckled
Speaking of Boyfriend, Pearl just remembered something.
“I’ll be back” she smiled and rushed out of the restaurant.
The moment Pearl left Lisa came back in, she met Ryder looking at her and she rolled her eyes
“Yunno, I wonder how you always mask up your feelings” he said and began moving close to her
“What are you talking about I don’t understand?” She creased her brows
“You said you won’t miss me when I’m gone” he replied
“Yes, so what?” She scoffed and tried leaving but he grabbed her arms and pulled her closer to himself
His hands were now on her waist and hers on his shoulders, their faces were extremely close
“Look into my eyes and say you won’t miss me when I’m gone Lisa” he repeated
“I.. I .. won’t. I..” Lisa began stuttering and this only made Ryder smile.
He then pulled her into a tight hug and rested his chin on her shoulder
“I’ll miss you Lisa” he said softly
Lisa gulped down the whole saliva in her lump,her heart was strangely beating and she doesn’t know why, she slowly brought her hands to hug him back and her stiff body began relaxing.

When Pearl left the restaurant, she brought out her phone and dialed Josh’s number, he picked at the first ring
“Babe what’s up” he called
“I’m fine, I hope you still remember our plan?” She asked going straight to the point
“Don’t worry babe, I’ve got this”.
