Karen entered the library with a earpiece in his ears and Marisa drooled at his handsomeness
He sat on a chair that was very far away from Marisa and Marisa wondered why
*Is he avoiding me* she thought
Professor paul insisted that they are gonna be having their detention in the library and they both wondered why
There are so many classrooms in the school
Marisa and karen both sat down without talking to each other, waiting for professor Paul
After waiting for complete two hours,Marisa stood up and went to open the door,but it’s locked
“Huh?” She said and pulled the door handle really hard till it broke and her eyes widened
“Holly molly”Karen said in shock Marisa took in her lower lip
The lights suddenly went off and Marisa became scared immediately
Her phone is on a table near the chair she sat on earlier
She started finding her way through the darkness
Karen smirked cause he knew this was probably Evans handiwork
Karen started searching for Marisa in the darkness too
Marisa finally got to the table and smiled when her hands caught her phone
Karen who was also moving towards the table hit his forehead hardly on Marisa’s and the phone on marisa’s hand fell and rolled under one of the shelves
“Ouch!” They both groaned simultaneously, rubbing their forehead
“All thanks to you,ugly doofus,now I can’t find my phone” Marisa stood up from the floor and stamped her feet on the floor angrily
“But I can find mine”Karen said and brought out his phone from his backpack then put on on the flashlight
“Phew” Marisa breathed out in relief but still gave karen a killer look
***SOME MINUTES LATER**
“Just give up” karen said and Marisa sighed
She eventually gave up and went to sit beside karen
She had been screaming and banging on the door nonstop but not even the voice of a rat is heard
It seems like everyone has left the school
“Now what are we gonna do? Sleep here?” Marisa said
“I guess” Karen said and marisa’s eyes widened
“What? I’m gonna sleep here with you?” Marisa said shockingly
She actually thought he was gonna come up with a plan or something but he just agreed to sleep in the library with her?
“Gosh! This is so frustrating” Marisa muttered
Marisa took a novel and sighed, maybe she really doesn’t have a choice
Marisa suddenly heard a sound and she raised her eyebrows
“What’s that sound?” Marisa said to karen
“I dunno, maybe the sound of a ghost” Karen said and Marisa’s eyes bulged
“There are ghosts here?” She said
“Yeah, you’ve never heard the story?” Karen said
“What story?” Marisa said
“The story of a librarian who got locked up in a Library” Karen said
“Then what happened to her?” Marisa said as she suddenly became curious
“There was a nerd named Nancy,she loves reading alot,more like a bookworm and so,the school authority made her the librarian, Nancy became really popular in the school cause of her intelligence and her best friend, Linda became jealous of her and vowed to teach Nancy a lesson she’ll never forget” Karen said
“Hmm hmm?”
“Linda joined the school bullies who also h@tëd nancy and they all planned to kill her” Karen said
“That’s heartless,how can Linda try to kill her best friend?” Marisa frowned and karen smiled
His plan on getting close to her again is really working
“So on the day the school vacated,Linda and the bullies locked nancy up in the library and she knocked on the door,she yelled and cried but nobody came to her aid,the school was locked and everyone has went to their various homes” Karen said
“And?”
“Nancy died and the authorities appointed Linda as the new librarian” Karen completed
“Such a bad ending for an interesting story” Marisa hissed loudly
“It isn’t a story, it’s real” karen said
“Really? Where did it happened? I mean,which school?”Marisa said as her eyes glimmered
“Here,in this library” karen said and marisa’s eyes widened
“You mean like,nancy is in here with us and listening to everything we’re saying?” Marisa said in panic
“Yeah,oh look,nancy is behind you” Karen shouted and Marisa did the unthinkable
She jumped on karen and wrapped her hands around his neck while karen smiled unknowingly
It started raining heavily and Marisa shivered
They both stared into eyes as no one spoke a word
Karen’s face started moving closer to marisa’s and their lips is just inches apart right now
Marisa captured karen’s lips in a passionate kiss and karen looked shocked,he wasn’t expecting her to kiss him
He smiled and reciprocated the kiss,like his life depended on it
They both Continued kissing each other passionately with Marisa sitting on karen’s lap and the rain falling heavily outside
**Next morning**
The sun rays and birds chirping woke Marisa from her sleep
She groaned lowly and rubbed her eyes
A smile crept up on her lips as she stared at her boyfriend’s face
Yes, Boyfriend!
Don’t be surprised,they started dating already
**Flashback {Last night}**
Karen broke the kiss and stared into marisa’s eyes
“I have something to tell you” Karen said
“Which is?” Marisa stared back at him
“I..I don’t even know where to start” Karen took a deep breath
“It all started when I first met you,I h@tëd you at first sight cause you were the first girl to ever talk back at me and the fact that you told me am ugly and even called me a monkey,I h@tëd you even more,I vowed to make you suffer for disgracing me publicly and that was when I came up with an idea of making you my personal maid, and instead of making you suffer,I felt myself getting more attracted to you and the hatred I had for you slowly turned into love,miss loudmouth,will you please be my girlfriend?”Karen said and marisa couldn’t believe her ears
He asked her out,He Fuçkin’asked her out!
Marisa waited for a while before replying
“I love you too mr doofus, and….. I’ll be your girlfriend” Marisa said and karen started showering her face with kisses while Marisa laughed out loudly
**End of flashback**
Marisa smiled again anther hands landed on karen’s nose
She pulled his nose hardly and his eyes fluttered open
“Awww,is that a way to wake up your boyfriend? I was expecting a peck or something” Karen pouted as he rubbed his nose
“Good morning babe” He said and placed a peck on her lips
Marisa’s cheeks heated up”Good morning” she replied, facing somewhere else and trying to hide her tomato cheeks while karen just chuckled at her cuteness
The door creaking open got their attention and Evans walked in with a smile on his face
Karen stood up immediately”You idiot,you promised to come open the door last night” Karen shouted and rushed towards Evans
Marisa stood up and dusted her skirt
“Nothing looks so interesting like watching a live comedy show early in the morning,just that the popcorns and drinks are missing” Marisa muttered as she sat on a chair with her legs crossed, waiting for the drama to unfold…
