Both him and Carly went in, they turned on the light and what welcomed them wasn’t a good sight at all.
From the look of things seems like Joshua wanted to commit suicide by hanging himself on the ceiling fan.
“Joshua!!”
“Brother!!”
Both Carly and David screamed at the same time.
“Oh my God I’m freaking out!! Do you have a knife or anything sharp, anything?” David asked in a shaky voice, even Carly was shaking.
She opened her bag and searched it but couldn’t find anything sharp so she took her keys and ran to her room to get a knife.
She gave it to David and David aimed at the rope before throwing it. The knife met with the rope and slashed it open without any hindrance.
Joshua fell down and David ran to him along with Carly.
“Joshua, are you okay, why did you do that to yourself!!” Carly began crying.
“No time to cry, stand up” David said as he carried Joshua up, he managed to drag his body to his bike.
After dropping him on it, he faced Carly.
“You will sit behind him and hold him tight, don’t let go of him while I drive otherwise I will sue you” he warned and Carly nodded.
He climbed his bike and Carly sat at the back with Joshua in the middle and David began riding to the hospital.

SANCHEZ PRIVATE HOSPITAL.
Olivia slowly opened her eyes and tried sitting up.
“Livy you’re awake, I will go call your mom” Sydney stood up from the chair beside Olivia’s bed and rushed out.
She came back in with a middle aged woman that looked a bit like Olivia.
“Daughter” Angelina rushed to Olivia and touched her forehead.
“You fainted, why?” She asked.
“It’s because she heard the news about her ex boyfriend losing his career” Sydney replied.
“Does that give you a reason to faint?” Angelia asked and Olivia just stared at her mom as tears came out of her eyes.
“How can you still be crying about him after how he treated you, are you stupid?” Angelina yelled at her and Sydney cleared her throat.
Olivia didn’t reply; she kept on crying.
Angelina sighed and faced Sydney with a smile.
“Darling please can you help me get some food for Olivia, you know how weak her blood is, not eating for hours has a huge effect on her” she said.
Sydney nodded and went out then Angelina faced Olivia again.
“He finally lost everything he had because of dad!!” Olivia cried out.
“Listen Olivia-”
“There’s nothing to listen to mom!! I caused all these to Joshua and he’s gonna h@të me for life” Olivia cried painfully.
“But he cheated on you” Angelia tried talking to Olivia.
“It doesn’t even matter!!” Olivia yelled out in more tears.
“Keep your voice down!” Angelina whispered.
“I won’t mom I won’t!! It’s all because of daddy!! Now I want him to die” the moment that sentence left Olivia’s mouth, a tight slap landed on her cheeks.
“What did you just say? I dare you to say that again!!” Angelina yelled, she was vibrating with anger already.
Olivia held her cheeks and cried even harder.
“How dare you say that Olivia!! Do you know how much your father has done for you, for us, do you know what he’s doing for us now!?” Angelina yelled with her eyes widened.
“He’s making me loose the only guy I’ve ever loved!” Olivia replied amidst tears and Angelina lost it.
She pounced on her and grabbed a handful of Olivia’s hair.
“You’re an ungrateful brat! God is blessing you but you wanna throw it all away! Your father and that unless the guy you call and ex is bringing us money!! He’s making you a pop star so use your stùpid brain to make use of it!!” Angelina yelled to her face.
Olivia kept crying and shaking her head.
“I’m done, I don’t want to be a pop star anymore!!” She cried.
“You stùpid girl!!” Angelina raised Olivia’s face up harshly by her hair and slapped her hard.
“You will keep doing that orelse..” she threatened and slapped her again.
“Olivia!!” The food Sydney was holding fell from her hands and she rushed in immediately.
“Why are you hitting her ma’am! Olivia!!” Sydney pushed Angelina away and hugged Olivia who was crying tight.
“Please ma’am, with all due respect, leave before I call the cops on you!” Sydney warned her with a glare and Angelina gave Olivia one hard look before leaving.
Sydney hugged Olivia more tighter and kissed her head.
“That’s enough, don’t cry anymore” she whispered.

HOSPITAL.
Carly looked at the phone that was ringing. She looked at David who was busy looking at his brother’s face.
“Won’t.. you pick your call?” She asked.
“No” David replied with his eyes still glued on Joshua.
“But it says mom,” she said.
“That’s why I won’t pick,” he replied.
Carly cleared her throat and nodded. The phone stopped ringing and resumed again.
“But Joshua told me that he has no issues with his mom,” she muttered.
David sighed and faced her.
“Look, not like I don’t wanna pick mom’s call, I don’t just want her to be worried when she finds out that Joshua is in the hospital” he explained.
“But don’t you think you’re making her more worried, it’s after ten and she might think something happened to you” Carly tried to reason with him.
“I get your point but if I pick and she asks about Joshua, what do I say?” He asked.
“Just say that you found Joshua and he’s resting, I’m sure Joshua will be fine tomorrow” she replied and David nodded before picking the call.
“David, I was worried about you! Why didn’t you pick your call?” Evelyn asked as she wiped her tears.
David pressed his lips together and looked at Carly who nodded at him.
“I.. actually I found Joshua but-”
“But what! Is he okay?” Evelyn hurriedly asked.
“Well he is but he’s sleeping for now I actually don’t wanna disturb him, I will call you tomorrow bye” he hung up and breathed.
“Thanks ….
“Carly,” Carly replied.
“Carly, who are you to my brother anyways?” David asked with narrowed eyes.
Carly pressed her lips together, she hesitated for a while before replying.
“His kid sis” she muttered.
“Huh?” David stared at her and she nodded .
He smiled.
“It seems like you’re a really nice person, I like you already so how old?” He asked.
“16” she replied.
“Woah same as me, school?”
“None,” she muttered.
“None?”
“Hmm, Joshua wanted to sign me to his school but now I guess not anymore” she replied.
“Oh” David nodded and hugged her shoulders.
“What are you doing?” Carly wanted to push his hands off but he didn’t allow her too.
“If you’re Joshua’s kid sis then you’re my kid sis too, I don’t care if we are the same age, I’m taller than you that’s it!” He smiled and looked at her.
Carly wanted to push him off but he resumed talking again.
“You don’t have to worry about Joshua not signing you in at my school anymore, I will talk to mom and I’m sure she’ll help me” he smiled.
“But..
“Shh” David shushed her and smiled again.
“Welcome to the family Carly”.
