“What did you just say?” She asked.
Anna rolled her eyes.
“You obviously heard me” she muttered.
Chloe stood up and left the room in a hurry.
“Where’s she heading to?”
“I don’t know. Things are becoming worst, we really ought to be careful this days” Anna muttered.
“I agree” Ivy said, nodding her head.

FERNANDO’S ROOM***
“Fernando, is what I’m hearing true?” Chloe asked as she entered Fernando’s room.
Fernando stopped talking to the men in his room and look at Chloe.
“Get out” he snapped.
“I can’t, you are…” Chloe tried saying.
Fernando ÇOçked the gun and pointed it at her.
“Now or I blow your head off” he said angrily.
Chloe bit her lips before rushing out of the room.
Fernando faced the men.
“Where’s Alex?” He asked.
The men looked at themselves and quickly bowed their head.
“Why aren’t you talking?”
“Do you want to die?” Fernando growled.
“He…. He went alone” A guy spoke out. He knew their Boss surely meant what he said.
“What? To where?”
“To Arturo. He said he’s going to save Boss lady himself”
“Sh|t! That fool” Fernando cussed under his breath.
“Send some backup to him while we wait for Don’s arrival”
“Yes Boss”

CAMILA’S ROOM***
Camila paced around the room, her hand in her mouth. She’s deeply worried about Valerie
“Val, are you okay where you are?” She asked aloud.
“I’m scared” Jade whispered.
“I’m scared, I don’t want to lose any one” she added.
Camila sighed
“This won’t do” she walked to the door.
“Where are you going?” Jade quickly asked.
“To Boss. I need to follow him, I need to make sure Val is okay” Camila said and opened the door.
“Then what about me? Alex left and you too… Don’t go” Jade begged.
“Valerie is in danger… She’s not alone, she’s also pregnant. I need to do something, I can’t just sit her and do nothing when she’s out there probably suffering” Camila said and went out of the room.
She met Juan outside and walked past him. She didn’t even noticed him
“What’s wrong with her?” Juan asked himself as he turned to stare at her retreating figure.
“Why is everywhere so silent?” He asked himself when he noticed only few people outside.

ARTURO’S HIDEOUT***
Valerie’s screams filled the whole place as she was whipped badly.
Her arms and thighs was sliced open by Andres before he left the place. She couldn’t even feel her body anymore, her whole body felt numb.
Her only fear at that moment was her baby. She just hope they’ll be fine.
She was almost losing hope when the door suddenly opened and a guard entered.
“Stop! It’s an order from the boss” he said and the men hitting Valerie stopped at once.
“Order?” A guy asked.
“Yes, from me” Arturo said as he approached them.
“Boss” the boys bowed their head.
“Enough of the torture” he said.
Valerie stare at him, she didn’t even know if she should be thankful to him or to be mad at him.
Arturo glanced at her almost unconscious body.
“She can’t die just now, she’s still useful. Just take her back to her room” he said.
“Fernando will be the one to destroy you” Valerie said before losing her consciousness.
“Is she dead?” Arturo asked as a guy checked Valerie.
“No, she’s still breathing. What should we do to her now?” The boy asked.
“Take her back to Bella’s room. Make sure no doctor is attended to her” Arturo commanded.
“Yes Boss”
One of the boys carried Valerie’s unconscious body out, she was dripping in blood.

Alex jumped the fence as he got to their hideout, making sure he was careful enough.
He brought out the guns in his pocket, he already filled it with bullets before leaving the clan.
He sighted two boys not faraway from him.
Steadily, he moved closer to them and shot the both of them at once.
The boys dropped to the floor as they died instantly.
Alex looks around and when he found no one in sight, he inserted the guns into his pocket back.
He was about to take a move when he was suddenly surrounded by different men.
“Who are you?” One of them asked.
“An intruder?”
“I knew he was going to send someone” Diego said.
“What are y’all waiting for? Kill him!” Diego ordered.
Alex’s eyes widened as another sets of men appeared again with different kinds of weapons with them.
