Saanvi watched as the princess leaves the palace. It’s true that she never liked her. But seeing her leave hurt her, there’s nothing she can do about it. She prayed silently that she will be fine in Naples.
As for Henderson she has no business with him. She has moved on but she will never forget what happened to her.
3HOURS PASSED
Amelia arrived at the entrance of the palace, that’s the first gate, to her greatest surprise. Her people were present to welcome her back to the palace and to Naples. They drove into the main gate and the guards opened the door for her. She got down from the car and the councils welcomed her.
“Your welcome back to Naples and to the palace. Your highness.” Jacob said with a smile and bow to her.
“Thank you.” She replied and the royal guards followed her into the palace. The councils followed her immediately. They were seated in the court room waiting for her.
Amelia sighed deeply. She looked around the bedroom, the past incident came flashing to her memory. She took another deep breathe.
“I’m back home. Oh God please guide me on this.”
“How do I talk to the councils? Oh goodness I haven’t done this before. I mean I haven’t face my subjects before. How will I face them?
“Oh God, please I pray for a miracle on this one. Please just this last one.” She prayed silently and came down stairs, heading to the court room where the councils are.
The guards opened the door for her, she walked in and the first person her eyes saw was Henderson. The councils stood up immediately they saw her coming. She comforted herself and walked to the sit that was made for her, when her father was alive.
She sat down and the councils bowed to their heads in respect. “Please be seated.” She muttered and they sat down.
“Your Majesty. We believe you are here for the coronation ” Jacob said with a bow. Amelia looked at them confused. Henderson never told her that they were going to crown her the Queen. Yes it’s true he do address her as one. “But he didn’t tell me that, they were going to crown me. And that it’s today.”
“I think the Queen to be is a little shocked about this whole thing. But your highness do not panic. We are doing everything to make that the palace and Naples is being protected. We all know what we went through years ago.”
“Yes. Minister of finance. You’re right.”
“So, everyone is here. Including I king Henderson and king Luciano. Two kingdom’s rulers are present here. And you are about to make us three. There’s nothing to be scared of, had it been that your father king Raymond. He will do everything to make sure that Naples is been ruled by you.”
“Greetings to everyone who is present here. I appreciate everyone who is here. Actually I never knew that something like this is about to happen. But am glad. Am very much happy to see that my people are happy to see me once again.” Amelia said.
“Without wasting much of your time, your highness. We have to proceed with the rites.” Henderson said.
“Your majesty. King Henderson will be the one to crown you the Queen of Naples. The new ruler of Naples. He’s the first when it comes in times of our customs.” King Luciano said.
“Please step forward to the throne.” Henderson said. She walked to the throne.
“With the power bestowed upon me. I hereby crown you. Amelia Raymond the Queen of Naples.” Henderson said. Everybody in the court room clapped as the crown was fixed on her head. She took an oath to protect her people and promised that what happened during her uncle’s regime will never happen again before going back to the throne.
HOURS LATER.
Everything was over and everyone in the court room returned to their various destinations. It was just her in the bedroom.
“Oh God thank you. I wouldn’t have known what to say to them. And Henderson he didn’t tell me that was coming to Naples.”
“And he left without we having a proper conversation. d@mn it.” She said to no one in particular.
“It’s 7 already no calls from him.” She thought and immediately a maid Interrupted.
“I’m sorry for interrupting you. Your Majesty.” The maid apologised.
“What do you want?” Amelia asked, in very calm manner. “Nothing, your majesty. I only came to tell you that dinner is ready.” She said with a bow, waiting for permission to leave.
“Alright, you can leave now.” Amelia said.

Henderson went back to the Rome. He assigned a big number of securities official and bodyguards. Though they were a huge number of royal guards and few bodyguards. To ensure her safety he added more number of securities.
They arrived at Naples the gate was opened to him and the securities. They drove into the main palace. Henderson instructed them and gave them their position. The securities official were made to stay at the first gate.
And the bodyguards and the royal guards were to stay at the main gate to the palace.
Amelia heard the sounds of cars trooping in. She became alert, but became calm when she saw that Henderson was the one. A smile escaped her lips, but it turned to a frown as she remember that he hasn’t been picking up her calls. She sat down facing her meal.
“Good evening Queen Amelia.”
“What are you doing here?” She asked, looking away. “Oh! It seems like am no longer allowed to come to the palace again.”
“You know that a new ruler has taken over. King Henderson.” She replied, still not looking at him.
“Oh! Forgive my manners Queen Amelia.” Henderson said, in a sweet way. “That doesn’t signify anything.” She said.
“I’m sorry i didn’t pick up when you called. I was very much busy. And am sorry I left after the ceremony, I know you wanted us to have a little conversation. I’m sorry. Besides that’s why am here.”
“Fine. Apology accepted.” She said and turned to him with a big smile on her face. “Thanks.”
“Am glad you came on time. Dinner is ready.” She said.
“You’re looking beautiful tonight. What about your robes?” He muttered. “Uhmm! Lemme say I got tired of them so i dropped them. Besides it’s off no use wearing them. Not as if you will be always to see me on them.”
“Oh! That’s right. But i can’t get them off my head. I mean the ones you wore when you were in Rome.”
“That’s right. Please eat your food it’s getting cold.” Amelia mumbled. “You too.” He replied.

They finished eating and Amelia decided that they go to the garden.
What’s going on there?” She asked, staring at the royal guards and some hefty men with guns.
“I got you some security personnel. I want you to be safe. Here.” Henderson said with a smile.
“Seriously?” She questioned, he nods with his hands behind his back. “You mean if am going out. I have to go with all these guys?” She asked, surprised.
“Uhmm! Maybe.” He replied. “I can’t go with them. I mean if am going around the villages in Naples. I have to go with all these guys. How will the people feel, when they see me with them. They wouldn’t even come close to me.” She said.
“I know, you will always look for excuses. The securities and the some royal guards and the bodyguards will go with you anywhere.”
“It’s too much. Okay fine. But they won’t come with me, if am going around the villages or if am going to the local market.”
“You’re a Queen. Maybe you have forgotten that. But not to worry i will be a reminder.” He said and smiled at her.
“So?” She asked. “So, they will go with you anywhere you decide to go. Not to worry, they good at their. They were trained.” He said, looked at them again and shrugged her shoulders.
“Let’s go to the garden. I don’t know where it is. You know it’s been some months and there are a lot of changes.” She said.
“I will show you, Queen Amelia.” Henderson replied and stretch out his palm, she gave him hers and they walked to the garden.
“Wow. Just like yours. It’s beautiful.” She commented. “I’m glad you like it. I love to see you this way. Always smiling.”
“Hmm, thanks for coming. You didn’t go to work because of my coronation. Am glad you came down here.”
“Well speaking of my work. It was the reason why i went there. I knew that today will be occupied with a lot of things.”
“Okay.” She replied. “Are you spending a night here?” She asked. “No. I will be going back tonight.”
“It’s late.” She half yelled. “Not to worry i will be fine. And i promise to call once I get home.”
Always on his words.” She murmured and rolled her eyes. “Did you say something?” He asked.
“I wasn’t talking to you.” She replied. He smiled, because he heard what she said. “I want you to get to know much about Naples and the royal palace.”
“What about the prime minister?” She asked, suddenly. He sighed. “Well you will pick one. I saw Edwards, a man with a good heart and his advice will be given to you as his. ..child’s best friend.” Amelia said, cutting him off.
“Not just that. As his child too.” He said and stood up. “About to leave?” She asked. “Yes babe.”
“Allow me to escort you to your car. I hope you came with your guards.” She said. “Yes honey.” He replied.
“How’s Richard?” She asked, concerned. “He’s fine, you shouldn’t worry about anything. He is okay.” Henderson said.
