Adel drove like crazy breaking all the traffic rules, the cops were already after her but she didn’t stop till she get to the company
She enlightened from the car and rushed in followed by Margaret, getting Into her office she saw her stepmom and stepsister searching everywhere
“What’s going on here? What are you both doing in here and how did you get in?” She demanded immediately
“What does it look like? Daughter of a whore, what are you hiding in this office? What’s that secret?” Her stepmom Ruth said glaring at her
“Please leave,” she said showing them the door
Knowing that it’s only three people that have the key to her office, she, her father Mr. Benson, and Margaret
Margaret can’t possibly give them the key so she figured they might have stolen her father’s own
“What are you hiding whore,” Ruth said scattering everything
“Witch, born whore, look at her,” Ashley said and she became angry
“Say that again,” she said going over to Ashley who quickly run to the back of her mother
“What will you do, daughter of a whore,” Ruth sneered and she glared at her
“There is a limit to everything, don’t push me too much,” she said and Ruth raised a brow
“Did you just talk back at me whore?” Ruth asked and made to slap her but she caught her hand
“If you slap me I will return the slap so please leave while am still being nice,” she said seriously
“Mrs. Benson I will tell you to leave cos you will look like a failed surgery if that hand touched your face,” someone said by the door
They turn to see Kate coming in
“And who are you to order me around,” Ruth said angrily
“Forget who I am and just live, ask your daughter the last time she slapped her, she looks like she was attacked by a granny monkey or gorilla, trust me you don’t want to look like that,” Kate replied, and Ruth. Benson looked at Adel one last time before walking out with her daughter
“And what are you doing here?” Adel turn to Kate and asked
“The news is everywhere, the crazy driver! The crazy billionaire model! Paparazzi is waiting outside,” Kate replied and she sighed
“And I forget to mention, there is a Rumor that anymore that finds a red box with the word THE SECRET LIFE OF ADEL Written on it will be rewarded, are you the Adel or someone else?” she added, and Adel and Margaret exchange glances
“It can’t be me, maybe some other person,” she lied

NEXT DAY*
Adel return to her office after a while to see a little girl looking around, the same girl she saw yesterday with Jeremy
“Looking for something,” she asked and the girl flinched and quickly moved away from her desk
“I didn’t mean to scare you,” she added and went over to her desk
“Can you smile, please,” the girl said and she raise a brow
“Why?” She asked and the girl looked at her
she made to talk but her stomach rumbling for food
She looked down embarrassed making Adel chuckle softly at the way she acted
“Hungry,” she asked and the girl nodded
“Did you like macaroni? Or will you choose a different thing,” she asked and the girl looked at her
“I love macaroni but I have never tested it,” she replied
“What’s your name?” Adel asked, she has a light smile on her face
“Sasha,” she replied gently
“Sasha, they will bring macaroni to you soon,” she said and the girl nodded
“Will they also keep it for my brother?” She asked and Adel nodded
“Yes, but don’t tell your brother that it came from me,” she replied and Sasha looked at her
“But why?” Sasha asked
“Just tell him that is company food, okay?” She said and Sasha nodded
“Can you smile? Just a little,” Sasha asked again
“How old are you?” She asked, trying to avoid the smiling part
“I’m 14, Jeremy is 24 and Eden is 20,” she replied and Adel give her that confused look
“Jeremy is the one I came with and Eden is at home,” she added and Adel nodded
“So his name is Jeremy, that rude Cobra,” she thought silently
“Can you smile now, like this,” Sasha said funnily showing her teeth and Adel laughed
“That’s funny,” she said and Sasha giggled
“You’re beautiful,” Sasha said and she was about to reply when someone came in
she changed her expression immediately and face her desktop
