Kira and Jeff have been standing outside for a while now with no one coming to get the door, they were getting impatient. Jeff personally was, he screwed up his face and clenched his hand as his body took the shape of a familiar one.
Kira didn’t know what was happening at first because she was so focused on the gate until he nudge her to a side and spoke to the CCTV from another angle.
“Fuçk Sh|t! Tammy?!” Kira uttered.
“Should have given that a thought earlier” he whispered to her as the door clicked open for them and they entered.
Tammy is one of the gifted and they all have access to the house with a retina scan.
The moment they got in, Jeff discard the disguise he was wearing and his real face came into view. The first person they saw was Anthony coming into the party area, fuming with rage.
“Hey hey slow down Tony, what’s going on here? I need it to be as fast as possible” she said.
“Ferya’s victims are disappearing and more humans will disappear from this party tonight. Haliah is missing and Erik went to find her but I haven’t seen Susan” he explained.
“Right here” Susan shouted enough for her to be heard through the loud music.
“Heyyy” she cried and went to hug Kira.
“I’m glad you’re okay,” she said.
“Same here” Kira replied then her eyes scanned the whole room at first checking for green lights, “What’s the update?” she asked.
“Lady in black won’t release Fred and seriously I’m confused here, I keep getting this strange feeling just looking at them sit together” she confessed.
“We need to distract her and get Freddie back here!” Jeff said.
“On it” Kira answered.
They went to the corner of the room where Fred is spotted still talking to the woman and Jeff called out to him.
“Fred can I see you for a minute?” he asked.
He took his face away from the lady in black to check on the voice behind him and when he saw them all without Erik, his heartbeat increased.
“Is everything okay?” he asked concerned.
“Yes, of course, we need to tell you something about Erik,” Susan said.
He turned to face lady in black who wore an angry stare and he excused himself but she grabs his hand.
“We are not done talking Fred, just a few more minutes and I’ll leave,” she said with a pretentious smile.
Kira frowned and groaned “Seriously? Do you want him to see this?!” she said.
“See what Miss… What’s your last name?” Lady in black said.
“Listen I’m so not getting any detention here and I know everything already so please back off and nobody gets hurt” Kira warned as she divert her gaze on Fred to get Lady in Black worried.
She was hesitant at first and the air around them was so tense that they could hear each other breathe.
Finally, she broke the silence, “ We will catch up tomorrow in school” she said.
“Uh, alright ma’am,” Freddie said and he left with them except for Kira who stayed.
Lady in Black brings out her hand fan and went out of the room, Kira followed getting the cue.
“I don’t have time for this but I think we should get it over with so you won’t interfere in any of our business tonight,” Kira said.
“You’ve grown more confident wailing girl! Your voice won’t work on me like last time” Lady in Black said.
“I know everyone gets their own story but I still don’t understand how you had a child without your lord knowing!” Kira said with a smirk.
Lady in Black’s hand shook and tremor wore her face, her white face turned red immediately.
“I am not to tell on you so your secret is safe with me,” Kira said.
“You can’t use this on me,” Lady In Black said.
“I’m not asking for a favor and definitely not asking you to turn on Hades to help us, we are strong enough for our own fights even if we are a bunch of teenagers.
It’s not in my right to judge your action or why you did it Grim Reaper, that’s left between you and Hades” Kira said.
“Nobody is to find out! I managed to stay away from him for years, I didn’t expect to find him at the school. His father knew what I was and still agreed to bring him to life. I had lived through decades and grew lonely, he was a result of my lonely heart” she said.
“But you could have killed him when you had the chance but you didn’t, you did not even feed him milk from your Brë@št cause you don’t want to transfer the darkness into his system,” Kira said.
Lady in Black groaned in pain to have her secret all out like this and she yelled at Kira.
“Enough! Just this night I won’t interfere but I won’t hesitate to put my sickle into all of you tomorrow morning if my lord wants” she said.
“Thank you,” Kira said politely.
She withdraw her flamboyant hand fan and turned to leave but then stopped in her tracks “ A scratch on him and you all are dying!” she threatened.
“Just this once, we have no idea of bringing him into the team,” Kira said.
Lady in Black disappeared and Kira went to join the rest.
“Freddie? Listen up, in a few minutes from now, I would like for you to close your eyes, you are going to hear some sounds and ugly screams but don’t open your eyes okay?” she said.
Freddie replied with a head nod and a confused look.
“We are going to need a bait,” Susan said.
“I’ll do it,” Anthony said.
“What? No! She can easily prey on you since she was summoned for your sake in the first place” Kira warned.
“We’ve got no time to waste, if we have the luxury of the time, I would have waited for Erik and Haliah okay?” he said with little ting of anger in his tone.
“You said this is about Erik and now you’re saying he actually went somewhere?” Fred asked puzzled.
“It will help Erik and everyone” Susan assured.
Kira nodded to Anthony to give in to his demand and they moved away from the party.
Immediately after the sound of music became distant and muffled, Anthony shut his eyes tight trying to think of all the good things he always wanted to do when he was still a nerd. Growing up in space and watching other kids practice their gifts, he would always pray to be different too, and have no one bullying him.
He dreams of becoming a unique teen with great power to save the world.
To avoid big injury, he entered his rider’s state and his body became enveloped with fire.
Fred was stunned and his jaw dropped. Nobody got time to explain anything to him so they just allow him to watch.
His desires and thoughts wore him as an outfit and Ferya sensed him immediately.
The lights went off and she appeared out of thin air, she clawed at Anthony’s fiery armor causing a deep cut on it.
Anthony ÇOçked his ghost rider pistol and shot a deadly ball of fire at her which sends her back with full force.
Jeff pulled Fred behind him for safety.
Ferya shrieks in anger and inserted her claws to remove the bullet made of fire.
“I came from a much bigger and hotter fire boy,” she said.
Within seconds, she gained distance from him with her invisible power and insert her claws deep into his tummy.
“Arrgh” Anthony groaned as his cover disappeared leaving him in his human state.
They must attack her when she’s not concentrating on the source and now she’s so engrossed in preying on her victim when Susan yelled at Kira “Now!” she cried out.
Fred knew that it was time to close his eyes and he did out of fear and shock. Kira placed her hand on his shoulder and she screamed so loud with her Phoenix voice.
Her scream traveled to each corner of the mansion and struck Ferya like lightning.
She was about to land the second gash on Anthony when the sound wave struck her, eating her body like a fire.
She let out an ugly scream as she fades into thin air with black ashes on the ground.
Anthony fell to the floor in pain and Sidan went to get him.
“You will be fine” she assured.
Kira became weak and so was Fred. She tried to miss but she fell to the ground as well.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Jeff asked as he helps her off the floor.
“He will be fine soon since she has disappeared,” Kira said.
“ Okay now, where’s Erik?” Fred asked.
“We will find him,” Susan said.
INNER CHAMBERS
Erik was still searching for Haliah when he heard the scream and he smiled “They did it”
He continued his search because he’s got no idea where to go without alerting the guards at each point and post.
“Haliah where are you?” he uttered.
He was about to turn around when he noticed a dark cloud hovering on top of the last building in the house. The dark clouds would throb with streaks of red lightening and then all of a sudden, it broke into the house from the roof and took the form of an unmoving storm.
“What the hell…” he whispered and Falcon spoke to him from within “It is hell,” he said.
“Wait what? Hell on earth? I’ve only heard on heaven on earth” he said.
“You’re bad at being serious Erik. Go! They just opened a portal, it’s either they are summoning or someone is leaving” Falcon said to him.
“Oh no! Haliah”
He ran towards the building and when he was almost there, the guards have him surrounded. They were all holding guns and heavily dressed in suits.
“You are not fooling me with that disguise again. Get your Fuçking wings out and come at me” Erik yelled as his clothes burned to the ground. He became covered in fire and falcon’s claw crept out of his fingers.
The guards exchanged glances at first but seeing that they are about to deal with a bigger threat, they shifted to their true forms and their guns morphed into swords.
They charged at Erik at full speed.
Luckily, Anthony sensed that Erik was in danger courtesy of the fact that they’d once worked together before to create a barrier with both of their powers.
His wound closed up and some students appeared out of nowhere lying weak and unconscious on the ground.
Ferya’s victims are coming back since they got rid of her already.
“Fred, I want you to return to the party. We will get Erik back here” Anthony said.
“Okay,” he replied with shaky breaths.
He’s weak as well but he managed to get himself out of there.
“He is in danger,” Anthony said.
