TORTURE ROOM**
Heavy Tears roll down Marissa’s eyes as they dragged her into the torture room,it’s being a while she came here and badly,she doesn’t want to experience the pain anymore. But who will save her? The only person who have the power to do that is the one who gave the order
‘You’re a goner Marissa’ she said to herself
Immediately she was tied up
“What are you waiting for? Whip her!” Galaxy ordered as the guards took the whip
Marissa shut her eyes immediately waiting for the lashes on her back
“Stop” The voice suddenly said and she opened her eyes immediately
It was Venom
“Vee…” Galaxy tried to talk
“That’s enough,untie her” Venom cut her off and Galaxy frowned getting confused already
“Yes boss” The guards dropped the whips in their hand and rushed to the crying Marissa,the moment they untied her,she rushed to Venom’s side,still in tears
Venom looked at her and walked out of the torture room
Marissa and Galaxy exchanged glances before Marissa went out
She wipe her tears and caught up with Venom
“Master” She called
“Thank you” Marissa said and Venom faced her
Marissa didn’t look away either,they both stared at each other. Venom turned and walked away without a word.
Marissa also left for her room,Jinx and Nala are both asleep already. She fell on the bed and didn’t know when she broke into tears again,what would have happened to her if he hadn’t reversed his words??
But then,why did he decide to save her after giving the order?? She wipe her tears and closed her eyes but seems the sleep isn’t coming
******
12AM**
Marissa sat up from the bed and sighed,she’s been rolling on the bed like forever.
She got down from the bed and took one of the hoodies Blaze gave her,she put it on and walked out of the room. The clan was silent except for some guards walking all over,she fold her arms on her chest. She kept walking until she suddenly saw Venom,he was sitting alone and smoking.
She immediately hid behind a pole,staring at him.
“Come out” she heard Venom’s voice and her heart skipped a beat
‘Is he talking to me? No not me,how did he see me?’ She asked herself
“Come out before I loose it” Venom spoke up again
Marissa bite her lips sadly and came out from behind the pole.
Venom stood up and dropped the cigarettes,he started walking toward her.
To her surprise,he only passed her and walked away without taking a glance at her. She immediately turned to look at him
‘Does he sleep at all?’ She thought and sighed out .
“Rissa” she heard Blaze’s voice and she looked back again
“Hey” She muttered
Blaze walked closer and grabbed her hand,he took her to somewhere more close
“Are you okay?” He asked
“Yes I am,why?” Marissa asked
“I was worried,I heard Galaxy took you to the torture room. Did she hurt you anywhere?” Blaze asked
Marissa shook her head
Blaze hugged her
“I’m really fine,you don’t have to be worried about me” Marissa muttered
“I can’t help it” Blaze replied
Marissa broke the hug
“Why are you still awake?” She asked
“Watching” Blaze replied and she nodded
“I’m going back to the room,see you tomorrow” Marissa said
Blaze wrapped his arms on her waist and she looked up
“Is there something you want to say?” Marissa asked
Blaze released her
“No,goodnight” he let out a smile and kissed her head
“You don’t have to follow me,I’m fine” Marissa said when he attempted to go with her
“Bye” He said
Marissa nodded and walked away. She returned to the room and fell back on the bed,she closed her eyes and sleep took over.

NEXT MORNING**
Marissa got to Venom’s suite,the guard who’s always there welcomed her with a light smile
“Do you stay here always? I see you here everytime” Marissa said and he nodded
“I’m Drake” He said
“Marissa”
“I know” Drake smiled
“Oh,I’m here to clean” Marissa said
“The boss is not in right now tho,but go ahead” he immediately unlocked the door for her and she went in
She sighed out,looking around
‘You should be fast before he comes in’ her subconsciousness said to her and she set to work. Everywhere look tidy even without cleaning so it was so easy. After a while,the only place left was the bedroom. She walked in and met the table at one side of the room scattered.
She immediately started arranging it,she got hold of one of the guns and sighed. Her mind went to the moment he found her beside him and he almost shot her
“Would he have done that?” She asked no one in particular and dropped the gun,she continue her work. Her eyes suddenly caught with something on the table,it’s a necklace. She took the necklace,checking it out
“Why does it look so familiar?” She muttered,still staring at it
“What are you doing?” The deep voice made her turn instantly
Venom was standing right there,his hands in his pocket,looking at her with his usual blank and cold look.
“I…..”
“What are you holding?” Venom cut her off
Marissa raised the necklace
“I’m cleaning the room” she muttered
“Drop it and leave” Venom said
“But,I’m not done” Marissa said and Venom frowned
“I will leave after I’m done” She added and dropped the necklace
“Get out,I h@të repeating myself” Venom snapped
Marissa bowed slightly and walked out.
Venom moved to the table and took the necklace,he fold it in his palm,it was given to him by his mom and he never takes it off except when he’s going on a mission,he obviously took it off last night and forgot to use it again.
He wore it around his neck and sat down,he rest his back on the chair and closed his eyes.
He opened his eyes when he heard his phone buzzing,he took it and got up again,he left the room

Phoenix was walking with Idris and Seth both on her sides,both staring at the little bruise on her cheek
“Are you okay?” They asked at the same time and Phoenix looked at Seth first and then Idris
“I can’t remember complaining that I’m not” She said
“I’m just worried” Seth said
“You should worry about yourself,I’m fine” Phoenix muttered
“Why are you guys following me tho?” She asked
Idris and Seth exchanged glances
“I just,wanted to say hi” Idris said.
“Funny” Phoenix said without laughing
“I’m here because we are friends” Seth smiled and touched her hair
“You can’t touch my hair just because we are friends” Phoenix snapped
“Gosh you are so hard to please” Seth groaned
Just then,they saw Blade and Venom coming together and they stopped
“Morning boss” they bowed at once
Venom ignored it and Blade replied with a little nod,he looked at Phoenix before walking away with Venom.
Phoenix turned for a second to take another glance at Blade
“You two can go,I need to take something from my room” she muttered and left immediately
Idris faced Seth
“Must you show up everywhere I am?” He asked
“I was about asking you that,why do you keep on appearing where you are not needed?” Seth snapped and walked away
