Alex stood outside with the boys, waiting for Fernando. His mind isn’t at rest, it’s all filled up with Jade.
He never had the chance to see or talk to her after she left his room the other day, but he wouldn’t deny that his mind is all filled up about her.
“I’ll be back, need to go to the restroom” he said to Javier beside him.
“Okay… I wonder why you’re going with us anyways even though Boss strictly ordered you not to” Javier muttered.
Alex smiled shortly. How will he stay behind while the others are on a mission?
“Be quick before Boss returns” Javier said, breaking him out of his thoughts.
Alex smiled at him before walking away,his main intention now is to find Jade, if possible, talk to her for a few minutes.
He was on the way to her room when he saw her just at his front, not too faraway from him. She was looking scared,as though she’s scared to lose something.
When Jade sighted Alex just at her front, she walked to him and slapped his cheek immediately.
“You jerk!” She was at the point of tears already. How could he think of leaving her alone again?
“Is that how you loathe your life so much? How could you think of going there when you’re still hurt? How could you treat your life like a mere thing?!” She yelled.
“Are you that worried about me?” Alex asked.
“Why won’t I? You don’t even care about me, you don’t care about my feelings. How could you think of going there again? What if you get hurt more that this? How do you expect me to take it?!” She shouted, tears finally flowing down her cheeks.
“That’s not true, I care about you a lot, I do really. And… I’ll be back, just trust me, I have something to tell you by that time too” he muttered.
Jade shook her head, she pulled him to herself and engulf him in a tight hug.
“Don’t go please, don’t go” she weeps.
“I don’t care if you don’t love me back, I don’t care if you don’t care about me, just don’t go” she pleaded as she cries heavily.
“Do you wanna know something?” Alex asked but Jade didn’t reply him.
“You’re one of the best thing that have ever happened to me” he muttered.
“I promise to be back, and then…. I’m holding you tight without letting you go forever” he said.
Slowly, Jade broke the hug, staring at him with her tear stained face.
“Don’t be a crybaby” he teased, cleaning her tears off.
“Be safe, Alex. I don’t wanna lose you” she uttered.
Alex held her face in his hand, he leaned his head closer to her and kissed her forehead longingly.
“You aren’t going to lose me” he muttered.
He stepped back, after staring at her for some seconds, he turned and walked away.
“Alex…” Jade whimpered softly.

ONE HOUR LATER***
Camille burst into Fernando’s room and met Valerie crying silently.
She sighed deeply before walking to her.
“Are you really going to keep doing this?” She asked, sitting beside her on the bed.
“Do you want to harm your baby?”
Valerie shook her head, still in tears.
“Then you need to stop the tears, I understand what you’re passing through right now, but trust me, Boss is gonna be fine. Don’t you trust him?”
“I’m just scared” Valerie whimpered.
“I’ve been having this strange feeling that Ferdie won’t be coming back for me, that he won’t be able to fulfill his promise to me” she muttered.
“That’s because you’re scared, when you and Jade are both acting like this, what do you expect me to do? I’m sad too, Javier also left without a word… Let’s just keep hoping for the best, they’ll be safe, that should be our thoughts and prayers not the other way round” Camila said.
“You need to be strong, you aren’t alone now, you have your baby with you. You have me, you have Jade, we’ll always be with you”
“Thanks Camy” Valerie whispers.
“Now clean those tears off”
Valerie chuckled softly and cleaned her face.
“Now, that’s it. Let’s go and meet Jade, she’s just like you, thinking too much”
“I think I’ll pass. I need to go somewhere else” Valerie refused politely
“Where? You can’t leave the clan, you know that ” Camila said.
“I know, I’m not leaving the clan. I’ll join you both soon” Valerie muttered.
“Alright. Be fine, okay?”
Valerie nodded with a smile. She’s going to meet Isabella, that’s the only way her mind will be at ease till Fernando returns.
