” but when did you start buying me things? ”

” alright, its fine” at the juncture Jennifer bashed in with her friends sighting Maya’s direction.
” Hey girl, what are you doing with my love? ” Jennifer said stared in an obscenely manner.
” what did you see me doing with him? “Maya exclaimed.
” please stop! Jennifer what’s the meaning of this why humiliating me ”

” Who is home? Daddy is back ” Maya’s Dad shouted. Missus Rose rushed out to check who in the parlor.
” wow! My husband you are back ” She hugged him warmly.
” yeah, I’m home, how are you doing? ” Mr Collins asked.
” I’m fine dear ”
” where is Maya? ”
” She is not yet back from school ”
” Alright, I hope she heard of my coming? ” Mr Collins said.
” Maybe she is not, when I wanted to tell her she was already gone. She will be flabbergast to see you”

” I know you must be very tired, i don’t wanna talk about how was your trip and work we will discuss later. Go change lemme drop your water”

Few minutes later Maya returns from school fatigue.
” Mum…. Mum! ” Maya called, and the Dad comes out smiling.
” wow Dad, you are back ” Maya said.
” yes baby”
” you didn’t inform me of your coming ”
” I’m so sorry dear, I thought your mum”
” no she didn’t ”
” she said when she wanted to, you we’re already gone”
” Dad I’m happy to see you ” Maya said smiling showing her white gap teeth.

” how was your trip? ” Maya asked.
” It was fine ” Mr Collins replied.

” just go to your room, change, freshen up i will gist you everything ”
” Okay Dad! Where is mum? ”
” she is in the kitchen ”
