Marissa couldn’t sleep,she was rolling from one side of the bed to another,her head was filled up with the quick and short kiss from Venom.
Was he teasing her? Why was it too short? She didn’t even get to taste that lips of his before he broke the kiss,why did he suddenly kissed her? Is there any assurance that he’s beginning to like her??
‘No he doesn’t,if he likes me,why would he ignore me for a whole week? Stop your silly imagination Marissa’ she said to herself and sighed
She touched her lips and her cheeks turned red,she still couldn’t believe that devil kissed her
“Who kissed you?” Jinx asked from her bed and Marissa flinched
They are the only one in the room now,Nala was moved to another one since the day she worked for Galaxy and got tortured
“Huh???” Marissa asked
“You kept on touching your lips,you’re also blushing girl” Jinx left her bed and joined Marissa
“What are you saying? No one kissed me” Marissa muttered
“Tell me,is it Blaze?” Jinx smiled and Marissa frowned
“Come on,I know you like him,he likes you too. The way he looks at you says a lot” Jinx smiled
“No he doesn’t,we are just friends Jinx. I don’t think he have any feelings for me” Marissa replied
“You’re so naive” Jinx scoffed
“I’m certain he feels nothing for me” Marissa said
“Fine what if he does? Would you accept him or reject him?”
“Are you crazy? Is there anyone dating in this clan? Don’t you think it might be against the mafia rules?” Marissa scoffed
“Oh…..you may be right,honestly…I don’t think there’s any couple here. All they do is…Füçk girls” Jinx muttered
“See?” Marissa roll her eyes
“A secret relationship is romantic too” Jinx grinned and Marissa groaned
“Do you like him? Tell me the truth”

“Stop it…I want to sleep” Marissa lie on the bed

“Wow,are you saying Marley is coming back? After how many years of hiding from Venom?” Poison released a smirk as Gunner showed them their conversation on the laptop
“Now that he’s coming back,I can finally have my way with Venom” Gunner smiled
“Are you sure? How are you gonna do that?” Uranus asked,making sounds with the gum in her mouth
“Just watch me” Gunner said
“We all know Marley killed Venom’s mother and that’s his greatest weakness,I can’t wait to watch the almighty Venom falling on his knees by the time I’m done with him and his crazy cliques” Midnight said
“Our job is to protect Marley from Venom and that will trigger Venom more,once he’s triggered,we get the chance to enter him deeply…” Gunner said
“We might need a spy…” Poison uttered
“Don’t even try that,those dudes are smarter than you think,I’m sure they will find out immediately” Midnight cautioned
“Not everyone is gonna be like Yola” Poison scoffed
“Now are we going to wait for Marley before we attack? Are you sure Venom doesn’t know about Marley coming back?” Uranus asked
“Absolutely not” Gunner smirked
“Don’t worry,the fire is coming. Just a little time and it will blast” He laughed wickedly before walking away
“I can’t wait,I have two particular Bîtches I want to kill” Midnight smile
“My target is Blade,I h@të that dude with his crazy smiles” Uranus scoffed

NEXT MORNING>COBRAS CLAN**
Blade and Venom are both in the gym,working out and chatting at the same time
“I don’t know why I’m having this feeling that Marley will appear soon” Venom muttered and Blade looked at him
“Seriously?” He asked
“I’m serious,its crazy but that’s how I feel now” Venom replied
“I can’t wait then” Blade smiled
“godfather want us to choose some of the trainees to join the gangs tonight at the party” Venom said
“So,do you have anyone in mind?” Blade asked
“Two guys” Venom replied and Blade nodded
“What about you?” Venom asked
“I guess I will think about it” He smiled
“Seriously?” Venom scoffed
“Of course,as the elder brother,I have to take my time” Blade smiled
“It’s getting annoying already,you’re only older with a year” Venom snapped
“Try taking that one year from me then” Blade smirked

“So,about Brandt….”
“Check your mails” Venom cut him off and walked toward the door
Blade chuckled
“Hey,are you angry because I’m older than you?” He called after him
“Stop it” Venom said
“Fine I will let you be older just for a minute” Blade teased
“Shut up” Venom snapped and walked out

Marissa smiled excitedly as she walked,she had her favorite snack in her hand,Madam Zuna promised to buy her some hamburger while coming from the market and she just got it
“I missed you” Marissa smiled and kissed it
Suddenly someone grabbed the hamburger from her and she immediately looked up to see Blaze
“What are you doing??” Marissa asked trying to get it from him
“Try taking it” Blaze raised his hand up
“That’s mine” Marissa pouted and jumped but still her hand couldn’t reach him
“Short Rissa” Blaze stuck his tongue out
Marissa tickled him
“Ahh!!! Rissa” Blaze laughed out
“Drop your hand or I won’t stop” Marissa said and continue
Blaze held her waist and she stopped
“I got you” Blaze winked
Marissa looked around
“Someone might see us” she muttered
Blaze smiled and released her
“Here” he gave her the hamburger and rough her hair
Venom who have been watching them for some seconds let out a Scoff before walking away

NIGHT**
“Phoenix my legs! Where are we going?!” Marissa shouted tiredly as Phoenix dragged her along
“Don’t complain,I need your help” Phoenix said when they finally entered her room
“Wow,is this your room?” Marissa asked looking around
“There’s no time,the party is starting soon. I need your help,I want to look different tonight,I don’t know what to put on” Phoenix said and dragged her to the closet
“Wow,you really have a lot of clothes,how?” Marissa asked
“Oh please,we get paid okay? Everyone in the gang have their accounts…I have no time for this,choose an outfit for me” Phoenix said
“Fine” Marissa roll her eyes and began searching until she got hold of a short strapless gown
“This should do,it’s giving both sëxy and bad girl vibes,by the way who are you trying to impress?” Marissa asked
Phoenix was already putting it on
“Your job here is to make me look good,stop asking questions. How do I look?” Phoenix turned
“Hot,but we need to do some justice to your hair. Take a seat” Marissa said
MINUTES LATER
“Wow,is this really me?” Phoenix muttered unbelievably
“No,it’s me” Marissa said sarcastically and Phoenix chuckled
“Now,let’s go” Marissa winked after Phoenix put on her heels
They both held hands as they walked out
“Bet your crush wouldn’t mind asking you out tonight” Marissa teased
“Oh stop” Phoenix scoffed
They got to the club room together,Marissa and Jinx are in charge of the serving of drinks and others tonight

Seth and Idris almost lost their breaths while staring at her
Blade was already present too but Venom wasn’t,he looked up from the girl he was busy making out with when he heard the murmurs and his eyes met with Phoenix

She smiled and immediately walked to them

Galaxy and Chicago scoffed
“She look ugly” Chicago said
“Liar,she’s prettier than you” Echo said beside her
Venom came in after a while and all eyes fell on him
Marissa was walking and almost bumped into him
“Careful” Drake immediately went in front of Venom
“Oh…” Marissa looked up and her eyes met with Venom’s own
Venom roll his eyes walked off
Marissa scoffed inwardly
“Does he work with weather?”
Everyone seems to be having fun until Blade suddenly announced that some trainees would be joined together with the gangs
Immediately,everywhere became silent,some murmuring silently wondering who it is this time
“Silence” Venom said and it became more silent
“What’s going on?” Marissa asked Jinx
“New members joining the gangs,I can’t wait to hear their names,they are so lucky” Jinx said excitedly
Everyone kept quiet,waiting for Venom to call the names
After what seems like eternity,he spoke up
“Trace….and…Star” He said and everyone clapped immediately
Some were expecting it
Trace and Star couldn’t believe their ears at first

Murmurs filled everywhere as Trace and Star moved forward
“Wait….” Blade suddenly raised his finger up and everyone kept mute
“There are two more” he smiled

“My heart is beating fast” Jinx muttered
“Not like your name will be called or something” Marissa scoffed
And finally Blade spoke up
“Jinx” He called
“And……Marissa”
Everyone looked confused,they are not part of the trainees right?
Blaze and Phoenix stood up in complete shock
Venom faced Blade with a frown
The glasses in Marissa and Jinx’s hands fell and broke into pieces
