Your majesty, Evenius and Maya greeted with a bow as he walked into the Kings chamber.
They remained standing until King Wright gave then a nod then they sat across him.
How did it go? King Wright asked coldly.
We found out… Evenius was saying when King Wright cut him off.
Not you, he growled under his breath with a glare.
He h@tëd how scared Maya was of him and how Evenuis always tries to speak for her.
Fear isn’t a good attribute of a true leader Maya, he growled at Maya who was shaking.
I’m sorry your majesty,she apologized immediately.

She was still shaking but she was grateful King Wright wasn’t looking at her.
His eyes were on his palms.
He couldn’t take his concentration off his mate even for a minute.
Now that Saraphina is on the loose, his mate is not safe anymore.
To think the bush they saw her at last night was just a few miles away from the hotel.

It was like the same thought was running through their head.
They needed no one to explain to them why Saraphina would fake her death and run to the modern world or why she shaved her daughters hair all her life.
Or why she never killed her.
All the missing puzzles were finally fixed and that made him realize its more dangerous for his mate to stay in the modern world.
We have to let her know who she is, Your Majesty, Evenius suggested and Maya nodded
Eyeing them, King Wright spoke thriugh his mind link.

Since we agreed on lettimg Blue know about who I am and who she is.
I managed to convince Blue to follow me to somewhere which we scheduled by noon.
Its still 9am and I’m lying on the bed watching my favorite series when I heard the kings voice in my head.

I jumped out of the bed in shock.

I was packing the room, around the bedside when my eyes landed on car packed outside…
Mia was standing in front of the car looking around like she was looking for someone then I watched her walk into reception.
Oh no, I half yelled running off.
I was panting by the time I got to Blues door.
Whats wrong? she asked when I bagged into her room and dragged her with me.

My grip on her hand was so strong, I knew I was hurting her but I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to stop myself.
I dragged her and Beiber followed behind us and I was grateful he did.
We got to my room and I pulled her in and slammed the door.
What are you doing? she asked and I pulled her room the window.
Ricardo? What is he doing here? she asked.
Shh.. I whispered with my hands on my lips.
Mia is probably on her way up here, she’s looking for us.
Then why are we hiding? she whispered back glaring at me as she spread her hands.
We can’t let them see us together.

Besides the receptionist is going to tell her our room numbers, she added.

I wasn’t expecting her to smile but she did.
Who knows you might be a blood sucking demon, she teased and I didn’t know if that should make me smile or frown.
What if… what if I am a blood sucker? I asked her looking serious.
She stared at me for a short while.
Oh my God, you looked so serious saying that, she teased and burst into laughter…
I’m serious,i said and she laughed again.

I think the car is gone, she said taking a look outside the window.
We both watched the car drive out of the gate till it was totally out of sight.
She exhaled and faced me.
We should go to the place now, I can’t wait till noon, she said and turned away.
I’m not that patient, I will be knocking at your door in 10 minutes, she added then left the door leaving me looking like I just saw a ghost.

True to her words, at exactly 9mins 56secs she was already on my door knocking.
We have to go mister, she said the moment i opened the door…
I was already dressed too.
I quickly followed her and locked the door.
We both went down silently till we got to the car.
Where exactly are we going to? she asked.
Two places, the first is a secret and the second is….
She looked at me.
A secret too, I said and burst into laughter.
Stop teasing me, she whined like a child.

Go away, she said with a pout hugging Beiber to herself.
I ignited the car and hit the road.
Its a bit far,you can sleep if you want to, I said to her.
Never, I don’t trust you,she replied and I smiled.
Its not like i can do anything to you with your mate glaring at me every minute, i muttered.
What did you say? she asked.
Me? Nothing.. I replied with a smirk when I noticed Beiber was glaring

Few minutes later, her head was dancing on the seat.
She was asleep already.
So much for not trusting me huh,I spoke like she could hear me.
Beiber stared at me amd I stopped the car.
I went to the other side and carried her out to the back seat.
I made sure to position her well,then I went back to the drivers seat and hit the road.
“I hope she understands” I whispered to Beiber who was at the front seat now.
But got no response.
Was I expecting the king to chat with me? I asked myself.
