“You’ve been warned, you don’t want me as an enemy” she said and walked off angrily.
Sarah sat starring at them,why would she think of her as a threat? William doesn’t like her and he will never look her way.
She saw the students starring at her again and immediately she went out of the class.
She didn’t want to be in that class, she was still walking when suddenly two girls walk into her making her fall in the process.
“Oops! sorry”?
“You should watch every time you walk”?
They said and laughed before walking off.
Sarah was about getting up when she saw someone standing in front of her
” You shouldn’t mind them,they are Jessica side kick”she said stretching her hand out to Sarah.
Sarah took her hand and stood up “have not done anything to get this kind of treatment from them and who is Jessica? ”
“Jessica is the Queen of success high,she h@tës people like us and when I say us,I mean the poor”
“So are you poor?”
“Daughter of a househelp,I know what your feeling right now because I also felt the same way when I began, Am happy that finally there is someone of my caliber here, I am Cassie nice to meet you” Cassie said stretching her hand for a handshake
Sarah suddenly felt a likeness for the girl.
“And am Sarah” she said shaking her outstretched hand.
“If I may ask can you tell me more about this Jessica” Sarah said.
“She is the school queen,daughter to the principal of the school,she has dated all the popular guys in the school,she just broke it off with Brad recently”Cassie told her.
“And who is brad?”
“The guy sitting beside you in class”Cassie said.
” I never really knew his name”
“But Brad is famous with his songs, you don’t know?” Cassie asked.
“I dont know ”
“Well let’s just forget about that, now you know and back to Jessica, William is now the popular guy in the school so she would want to go after him. I suggest you do as she says , Jessica threats are always carried out” Cassie said and Sarah nodded.
If she didn’t want trouble she had to stay away from Jessica.
“So tell me where were you heading to?” Cassie asked.
“Anywhere that will get me away from class” she said.
“Why don’t I show you around the school” Cassie suggested.
“Really?”
“Sure after all we have no more class until after lunch” Cassie said and with a nod from Sarah, Cassie drew her off and showed her the school library, swimming area, their labs and the teachers office.
“We just havent gone to art and music room”
“Then let’s go ” Sarah said happily and they were on their way there when Sarah heard a guy saying
“let me go ” she hid behind a pillar to watch and then she saw two guys holding a boy down were they bullying him? she thought
” What are they doing to him?”Sarah asked Cassie who was behind her watching also.
“Its dangerous here, we need to go”
“But we just can’t leave the boy alone” Sarah said.
“We can, let’s just go” Cassie said pulling her and she was about to leave when she heard a familiar voice.
“Where is my money?” She quickly went back and saw Brad.
“Where is my money? ” she heard him ask again.
“I don’t know” the boy said and Brad hit him twice In the stomach.
“Where is it” Brad asked again.
“I said i don’t know” he replied and angrily Brad began to hit him.
Sarah wanted to go there and stop him but Cassie stopped her, pulling her away from the scene.
“Brad was bullying that kid,I could have stopped him”
“And you will be putting yourself in danger, Brad is dangerous, you need to stay away from him” Cassie said
“Let’s just continue our tour” Cassie said and together they continued their journey.
They got to the music room first and then to the art room.
Sarah stood admiring it ” This place is so beautiful”Sarah said.
“It is, this is favourite place “Cassie said
” I think this will also be my favourite place”Sarah added smiling and just then they rang the bell.
“After talking much am really hungry,let’s go eat” Cassie said and together they went off to the school cafeteria.
