CHAPTER 31&32: THE YOUNG GENTLEMAN.

It’s been two days and every where seemed a bit quiet without Pablo. Mr Vito was regretting his actions, but he was only trying to do so to avoid the war that is yet to come.
But on the other hand, it pained him that he was going to die without Pablo by his side. And how was he going to explain it all to his two sons, Fred and Micheal?
How is he going to tell them his plan to make Pablo the next mob leader? Even with Pablo leaving for Chicago, he still hasn’t made a change of mind to give the empire to Micheal.
He was going to wait for his return, and even if death will come before Pablo returns, he’ll have to discuss this with his lawyer.
Fred noticed for two days now Pablo hasn’t showed up. He thought maybe he was still pissed off with what happened between him and Michael so, he went to check on him in his room.
“Pablo?” He knocked on his door but he got no response. He tried opening the door but it was locked.
He decided to meet his father and ask him about Pablo’s whereabouts. “Pablo isn’t in his room and his door is locked.” He informed.
Mr Vito was quiet. His quietness seemed awkward like he knows some thing no one else knows.
“Dad, say some thing. Do you know where Pablo is?” He asked again.
He raised his gaze at his son. “He went to Chicago.” He replied.
“What the fu*k is he doing in Chicago?”
“He went after Anastasia, he wants to bring her home.”
“What did you do, dad?”
Mr Vito didn’t say a word.
“Dad?” He asked. “What did you do this time?”
“I had to send her away to help her life other than causing problems between the three of you.”
“Dad, this Sh|t doesn’t make any sense to me.”
“Well, it does to me. I heard what happened that day between the three of you.”
“What happened that day in the sitting room is nothing, and has nothing to do with Anastasia.”
“Then what’s the cause of the fight if it has nothing to do with her?” He asked.
“Micheal went nuts, so we were only doing the favor of calming him down.”
“And breaking your nose in the process?”
“It doesn’t matter. No one gets into a fight and comes out clean, not even the mighty Jackie Chan. Hold on, what were you thinking before sending her away? That Pablo will hear of it and sit down without making a move? Guess you haven’t realized how much he loves her.”
“I know him as much as you do, I’m only trying to protect the future.”
“Maybe you have to start that protection on Micheal first, since he’s the hot-headed one here. I hope Pablo finds her and brings her home.”
“You seriously want her back?” Mr Vito asked Fred, surprised at his statement.
“Of course, I do. Anastasia is a nice girl, she doesn’t have any problems.”
“You think I don’t know how you and Micheal sëxually assaulted her?”
“I never assaulted her sëxually, I only tapped her butts which was only once on her first day here.” He sits on the guest chair, crossing his legs. “So, which means, I am innocent.”
Micheal didn’t want to meet his father concerning Pablo and Anastasia’s sudden disappearance. He called Clarabelle to ask her if Ana’s whereabouts.
Clarabelle was angry at the way he called her, and more pissed off that it was for nothing else but to ask her of Ana’s whereabouts.
“You called me.” She said,
“Yes, I did. I noticed Anastasia has been scarce lately, do you have an idea of where she could be?” He doubts his father would let her go, since doing so was against the Sacilian rules.
“I have no idea of where she is.” She sincerely said. Not attempting to tell him even if she did have an idea.
“You are her friend, you should know of her whereabouts.”
“Not everyone loves to share their secrets to their friends, every one are not the same.” She simply said, not minding if she sounded rude.
“Not even a letter?” He asked.
Why is he just so annoying and inquisitive? She said mentally to herself. Does he have to know every thing?
“She did drop a letter, but she didn’t say where she was going to.” She said, hoping he’d stop asking.
“Did she leave with Pablo?”
“I have no idea. I woke up and saw her letter under my pillow, that’s all.”
He nodded his head, “You can go now.” He dismissed her.
“Where are you, Ana? What’s going on here? Why do I feel like I’m kept in the dark?”
“@$$hOle, you think I’ll let you know of her whereabouts even if I have the idea of where she is? You’re just so lucky she didn’t tell me a thing.” She scoffed.
