” Grandma..” Violet called as soon as her grandmother entered the house. She was about leaving when Pamela entered
” Going somewhere?” Granny Pamela asked
” Yeah wanna go see Ryan..” Violet replied
She had told her grandma about their relationship and her grandma seem to like Ryan a lot
” How’s he? I mean his excessive nose bleed ” Granny Pamela asked
” He’s fine now, he told me the doctor said everything is fine with him and it’s not something serious.. ” Violet replied and her grandmother hesitated for a while before nodding
” Don’t stay long..” her granny said and she nodded before leaving the house.

Violet was about entering Remy’s hostel when Claire stopped her
” He just left, maybe 30min ago..” Claire said
” Is that so? thanks..” she said as Claire approached her
“:Is something bothering?” Violet asked, grabbing the door knob and it opened
‘ He didn’t lock his door? Maybe he’ll be back soon..” she thought entering the hostel with Claire
” Wow.. its beautiful in here”.. Claire said
” It’s Remy’s, Ryan’s hostel isn’t far from here though..’ Violet replied sitting while Claire just sigh immediately she heard Remy’s name
” Did something happen to you? And why are you talking to me instead of Mara?”
” It’s been a week now Mara left the hostel, her things are still there but she’s living with her parents” Claire replied
” Oh! ”
” How did you approach Ryan?” Claire asked, sitting next to her
” Huh?”
” The thing is, I think I like Remy, Violet.. I mean I don’t know but I do love him ”
” What?”
” I know it sounds stûpid, I know I shouldn’t be telling you this but I don’t know, I’m confused I can’t even tell Mara about it and I don’t know why..” Claire breath out
” You should tell him then.. he might feel the same way you do” Violet replied and the door burst opened and Remy walked in
” Remy?” She called surprised. Claire just sat feeling nervous all of a sudden
” Claire calm down.. ” she told herself
” Where’s Ryan?” Remy asked, looking around the house
” He went out for a bit ” Violet smiled, standing up
” I should excuse you both, seems you two need privacy..” she smiled again and made to leave but Claire grabbed her hands signaling to her not to go
” I need to go.. “Violet gritted out, releasing her hands forcefully from Claire’s.. she winked at her before walking out of the mansion
” Hey.. ” Remy said sitting next to her and she forced a smile, shifting slightly
They both didn’t know what to say next so silence followed
” Actually…They both said at a time and exchanged glances afterwards
” You go first..” Remy said
” You do it ” Claire laughed awkwardly while he heave a sigh
” I’m sorry about about the kiss ” he said and she looked at him, disappointed
Why was he apologizing? It meant nothing to him?
” I….”
” It’s fine, you don’t need to apologise, I should get going ” she said standing up
” Wait, I’m not done talking ” he said, holding her back
” There’s nothing else to….
” I’m in love with you Claire ” he cut her off
” I.. I know this may sound funny but I can’t keep it in any longer, You’ve refuse to leave my mind. I’m literally going cr@zy right now , I’m in love with you ” he said looking at her to see her expression but she just kept blinking as tears gathered in her eyes

” Are you offended? Did my words offend you?” Remy asked confused but she shook her head, letting her tears fall
” I’m just happy, it feels like a dream” she said cleaning her tears
” Happy? Does one cry when Happy?” He asked and she smiled
” It’s just….
He immediately hugged tightly her before she could complete her statement

Ryan opened his eyes slowly only to find himself in his room, back at their mansion
” What am I doing here? Did dad asked them to kidnap me? Which parent does that?” He sighed, Walking to his door but it was locked from outside. He left his keys at the hostel
” Dad has the spare keys..” he muttered reaching for his phone in his back pocket but it wasn’t there
” He took that too?” he wondered, getting pissed
” I hope it’s not what I’m thinking?” He said walking back to the door
” Open this d@mn door..” he yelled banging on the door hard and it opened revealing his Dad
” What’s the meaning of this? what do you think you’re doing?” He yelled
” If you didn’t prove stubborn, none of this would be happening. Why are you risking that poor girl’s life just because of your stûpid love?” Xue asked.
” What? You asked those people to attack her that night? He asked but his dad laughed
” Why would I?? Her life doesn’t mean anything to me Ryan, I just need you to cut off wh@tëver feelings you have for her ”
” That absurd.. I can’t do that, not in this life or the next ” he said and that earned him a resounding slap
” Yeah, go ahead and slap me all you want, but I’m never gonna agree to the marriage” he spat
” Let’s see what you have to say after watching this, lover boy ” Xue said signaling to one of his men who handed him a phone
Ryan watched it carefully and his eyes widened.
” What do you think you’re doing?” He yelled..
