CONFUSED
“Will you be back soon?” Anna asked Axel and he smiled before nodding but however Anna did not feel at ease at all.
“Can you not go?!” She asked with pleading eyes as she tugged at the sleeve of his cloth. He smiled and cupped her cheeks.
“I’ll be back, I promise!” He said and caressed her cheeks lovingly.
Meanwhile Leon stood by the door and watched them smiling.
“Finally!”
Anna shook her head.
“Axel, I don’t just know. I have a feeling that something bad might happen, you know what happened to me yesterday, it could..”
“I’ll be fine!” He assured her again but Anna wouldn’t have any of it.
“Can I come with you?” She suddenly asked and his eyes widened.
“Blue eyes, you can’t. You can’t come with me. Leon will be here to keep you company and don’t worry, you will be safe with him” Axel tried again to convince her for the umpteenth time.
“But where are you again? Is it a secret, why can’t I come. I told you I won’t feel at ease if you gi!” She said and Axel sighed.
He knew that she was stubborn but not to this extent.
Axel sighed and then kissed her forehead and then caressed her hair.
“I’m sorry but I have to do this!” He said and immediately Anna started feeling dizzy.
“You! Axel, No… Axel!” She said trying to fight off the dizziness.
“I’m sorry..” He muttered and helped her lie on the bed.
“Axel, no, I don’t, I don’t, want to sl..sleep” She managed to say before sleep took over her eventually.
Axel sighed and stood up before turning to Leon.
“Take care of her” He told Leon who nodded.
“But don’t you think that you should consider what she’s saying. You might be in danger. Don’t forget that she’s also a supernatural!” He told Axel who sighed again.
“No, she’s just worried. Nothing is going ti happen!” He said and looked at the sleeping lady on the bed.
“Axel, be careful!” Leon told him and he nodded.
“Take of her!” He said to Leon again.
“She must have a single scratch on her!” He warned again and then walked out.
“I hope he’s safe!” Leon muttered.

Tatiana smiled as she looked at the small bottle in her hand.
“I used this on you before and I’ll use this on you again. You shall be sent to where you came from and I will wipe off your existence before you do so to me!” She said with an evil smirk.
Laura, her childhood friend and maid came in and Tatiana looked up.
“We are set to go my princess and I I did everything you asked to me” Laura said with a bow.
“Good!” Tatiana said with a smile
Few hours later.
Anna groaned and opened her eyes. She suddenly sprang up from the bed as she remembered what had happened earlier. She looked outside and noticed that it was now dark.
“No, don’t tell me that Axel left?!” She asked herself.
The door created open and Leon walked in with a tray of food.
“You are awake, I thought so..” He said and placed the tray on the table nearby.
“Where’s Axel?” She asked him and he sighed.
“Just eat!” He told her making Anna scoff.
“Are you even a seer?!” She yelled at him.
Leon chuckled.
“You’re really feisty Anna but this won’t help you. You have to be calm!” He said to her again and Anna scoffed yet again.
“Axel’s not a baby, It’s seems you are not aware of how powerful he is. Don’t worry, he will be fine!” He assured her and Anna shook her head.
“He is not going to be fine, I can feel it. Something terrible is about to happen!” She said again and Leon sighed.
“Once you are done eating, I’ll be right back!” He told her and Anna Anna rolled her eyes. She was hungry anyways so she would eat even without him telling her.

It was midnight already but Anna couldn’t sleep well. She sat up mumbling to herself why she was so worried about him. She could even use this chance to escape! But she couldn’t get why a part of her was so adamant to escape. She felt like not leaving this place.
But since when?? Since when has she become this weak, this vulnerable?!
This was definitely not her, this was another Anna anymire. She groaned and covered herself up with the duvet.
“Aaargh! I’m so done for!” She exclaimed.
MORNING
Anna opened her eyes and stood up from the bed.
“Did Axel come home yesternight?” She asked herself and ran downstairs but then what she saw made her more curious.
A lady was in the living room and was chatting with Leon.
But she was surprised because ever since she got into the house. She had never for once seen a stranger in their home. She was well aware that there were Vampires and demons guarding the house but they were never in the house.
She ascended the stairs and with a fake smile, she spoke.
“Good morning Leonel!”
Leonel looked at her surprised. He certainly did not expect this from the stubborn lady.
“You are awake already?”
“Is Axel back?” Anna asked pretending not to mind the beautiful lady seated next to him.
“I told you that he went out for a mission, he would be back soon” Leonel sighed as he finished explaining. It was like he was tired of explaining to her.
“Who’s she?” She heard the female lead asked and that was when she took her eyes to the lady.
“She’s Axel’s wife!” Leonel said without blinking and Anna felt like grinning widely.
“Wow! I never thought she was the one. I mean she looks so plain” The lady said and Anna’s eyes widened.
“Lia!” Leonel called in a warning tone and Lia immediately gulped hard.
She stood up with all smiles and stretched her right hand for a handshake.
“I’m Lia! I’m a long time friend of Axel and Leon!” She said and Anna faked a smile and accepted the handshake.
“I’m Anna..” She said and Lia smiled.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean what I said earlier. I just love joking!” Lia said and winked at Anna who found it cringe.
“Come on, tell me how did the both of you meet?” She asked with all smiles and Anna forced another smile before stylishly rolling her eyes.
“What the heck is this lady’s problem?” She asked herself.
“Hm, I’m sorry but I’m a bit hungry and I need to eat”
Lia smiled.
“Or are you intentionally avoiding my question?” Lia said with a smirk.
“Of course not!”
“You see, if Axel finds out that I haven’t eat. He’s going to get mad!” Anna said with an untethered look.
“Excuse me!” Anna said and walked away.
“She’s kind of feisty!” Lia said sitting beside Leon.
“Lia, don’t talk to her anyhow!” He reminded her and Lia scoffed.
“Oh really, is she so special just because she’s Axel’s wife? I mean she’s not even that beautiful as I expected!”
Lia spat out and rolled her eyes.
Leon sighed and stood up
“Will you leave now or wait for Axel?” He asked.
“I wait for him!” She replied with a smile.
Leon nodded and then walked away and the smile on Lia’s lips faded and it turned to a mischievous smirk.
“Hm, it was so easy to infiltrate and come here. You all trust too easily that’s why you end up getting betrayed!”
“And the fun is about to begin when Axel comes.”
Her thoughts then drifted to Anna.
“That girl, she’s getting on my nerves already. I’m going to make sure I’ll kill her with my bare hands!” Lia thought with a smirk.
Suddenly there was a loud bang and immediately all the lights turned off but almost immediately again, the light turned on again.
Anna and Leon rushed out from their respective rooms.
The lights started to flicker again and Leon chuckled.
“It’s Axel but why’s he doing this?” He asked but then a loud thud was heard and they looked at the door to find Axel standing there coldly. His face was expressionless and his hair was scattered and it fell on his eyes. His claws came out and blood was on it, including his lips, there was a stain of blood beside it.
“Axel!” They called alarmed even Lia was not left out however he just walked towards them like nothing happened.
Leon was shocked.
“What happened?” He asked.
“The witches attacked!” His response was swift and cold.
“Witches? I thought they were all dead?!” Lia said and Axel’s eyes went to her. His eyes dilated in surprise at first.
“Lia? You are here?” He said more like a question.
Lia smiled and nodded while Anna furrowed her brows.
“What’s going on?’ She asked herself.
“But Axel, you are okay? Right?” Leon asked and Axel nodded and before anyone could say another word.
He vanished out of sight.
Leon sighed and immediately went upstairs.
“How come I didn’t notice? This is getting out of hand?” Leon thought.
Meanwhile Downstairs.
“You seem so familiar with Axel?” Anna found herself asking.
“Yeah, we were so close. Was that three hundred years back?” She said and Anna smiled.
“So, are you not supposed to be on your way?” Anna asked again with a fake polite voice. She just didn’t know why she does not like this lady.
“Oh you don’t know! I’m gonna to stay here for the meantime. But excuse me?” She said and vanished too immediately.
Anna rolled her eyes before proceeding upstairs.
“Witches?”
Yes she knows a lot about witches since they also stayed with them. They were also good friends but she never knew they were this dangerous.
She stopped by Axel’s room and thinking if she should go in or not. She decided to go in but one thing she forgot to do was knock.
She opened the door gently and stepped in. Her eyes scanning the room. She h@tëd to say this but the room looks odd and kind of ancient.
She stopped when she heard a slight groan. She looked around and wondered where it came from and that was when she noticed it came from the bathroom.
The bathroom door suddenly opened and Axel stepped out. Immediately their eyes met and he stood rooted to the spot while Anna’s eyes widened slightly and she gulped hard.
He was having this crazy effect on her. He was just, He was just so hot.
But then she snapped out of it.
“Blue eyes, what are you doing here?” He asked taking his gaze off her.
“Are you okay?” She asked and he nodded.
He sighed and closed his eyes. His only wish at that moment was she should leave before he loses control.
“You are not!” She says and then she walked closer to him.
‘What are you doing?” He asked her but then she looked at his back and her eyes widened.
“What? The witches used their venom on you!” She said.
“I’m fine Anna!” He said.
“No! It’s going to spread soon!” She exclaimed and touched the spot which was already becoming ‘blood black’.
Axel closed his eyes immediately she touched him there.
“I’m fine, Anna!” He said but she made him turn and sit on the bed.
“What are you doing Anna? I said I’m fine!” Axel said in gritted teeth, he was annoyed at the fact that he couldn’t do anything when it comes to her. She was starting to affect him crazily.
“Don’t forget I’m also supernatural. We lived with witches so I know it quite well!” She said running her fingers on his back and Axel gritted his teeth the more.
“Anna!” He called almost breathlessly.
“Axel, we have to..” She couldn’t complete her statement because he suddenly turned and grabbed her hands looking deep into her eyes. He just couldn’t hold it in any longer.
“I’m sorry but..” He paused and sighed.
“Huh?”
She couldn’t say anything more when his lips landed on hers immediately and she froze.

The kiss became more rough and they found themselves on the bed but then he broke it immediately and stood up and Anna furrowed her brows in confusion.
“What just happened?” She asked herself.
“Anna, just leave!” He spoke calmly and her eyes widened.
“What the hell just happened?” She asked herself again and she stood up.
“Axel I..”
“Anna, Go!” He said not even sparing her a glance and her eyes became watery.
“Fine!” She said and walked away and Axel ran his hands into his hair. He could feel it tingling in him. He looked at his claws and noticed they had lengthened as his breathing became more heavy.
He closed his eyes as he imagined her hands on him.
“She’s really affecting me. She’s so d@mn affecting me!” He muttered as he walked up to his wardrobe and picked out a shirt.
His mind was occupied with Anna.
