“Finally asleep?”Kennedy disrupted her thoughts as he stood up
Kayla gulped staring at his chest “maybe he gyms” he thought
“What’s your business,not like he’s doing it for you”Kayla told herself and covered her mouth
“This?”Ken pointed to his abs with a silly smile. “yeah,I did it for you”he added
“Stop lying and yeah Kieran finally slept….all thanks to you”Kayla rolled her eyes

Jane yawned tiredly as she stood before a gigantic door. She lazily peered in and entered

“Okay”Jeanette smiled and climbed up the bed,Jane joined her and squeezed herself on her mother’s arm

Jenevieve entered her room and a woman followed suit with Jenne’s luggage, she’s a room attendant

The city lights are amazing and Jenne’s eyes changed colors as the lights peered through

Kayla stopped and she blinked when she saw where her legs had reached

“Kieran called you dad, I don’t think….”

“No one,I know”Ken replied and looked at her eyes, reading something. She scoffed and looked away, Then she looked back at him and when she saw he was still staring,she looked away, fidgeting
“Five years ago, I…I…found out I was pregnant with Kieran a week after the incident”she stuttered
Kennedy moved closer again and she felt her heart pounding
“I’m sorry,I searched buh I didn’t search enough,I’m sorry for not knowing you got pregnant,I’m füç?ing sorry you had to face all what you faced being a mother….I’m sorry for everything”he said and whispered the last words
Now,both are fanning their breaths against each other. Kayla felt the tension again
“Like it’s that easy”She muffled, tears streaming down easily “five long years Kennedy”she added
“I Know, I badly wanna make it up to you. Just forgive me”he made puppy eyes and she slowly laughed
“Stop the eyes already”she rolled her eyes,he smiled shortly and helped her wipe her tears with his thumbs
“Why did you go into killing,you could have just run away…then report…”Kayla wasn’t even sure of what she was saying
“They made me”Ken simply replied,she gulped
“How…how did you leave,I heard after few weeks that the house became empty”Kayla asked
“I killed Dickson a week after you left me in that room”Ken replied without remorse
“How do you feel saying this, Kennedy,no guilt in your eyes…like Killing is a ritual…like it’s easy?”Kayla blinked in abrupt shock
“How do you expect me to feel?And yeah, Killing is a ritual to whoever wants it.anyone who crosses ma path,I kill. Any füç?in’ one who touches ma thing, I kill alright?”Ken asked,his brown eyes glowed in slight anger
Kayla moved back a little,fear eating her up on every side
“I joined a group of gangsters that year”Ken added
“Stop Kennedy,just stop. I don’t wanna know,not now”She muffled moving back and back and..
Kayla lost balance and almost fell but luckily Kennedy caught her,but that didn’t end,he hugged her
So tight that she could feel her soul almost jumping outta her body

“Kennedy”she tried breaking the cruel hug
“You hate me don’t you?”He uttered
“I didn’t say that”she defended
“Then call me what you used to, Momma”he muffled
“Let go Kennedy”She said
“Not until I hear my name from you”he tightened the hug. Kayla almost choked
“E…Eddy”she whispered
Ken broke the hug, Kayla moved back a bit
Still,he wasn’t done
He grabbed her waist to himself and rubbed his lips on hers before capturing those lips
Kissing her hard
Claiming her back
