LOUIS’S HOUSE ^^^

Charlotte woke up the following morning welcomed by an inviting smell, she instantly knew that Louis was preparing breakfast.
She smiled cheerfully, and went to freshen up before going to the dinning room, there he and Ms. Bella were setting the table for breakfast.
“Good morning,” she greeted, and they both smiled at her.
“Charlotte, I hope you slept well?” Louis asked
“She obviously did, look at her smiling so bright early in the morning,” Ms. Bella was quick to say, and they both laughed.
“Ms. Bella, you’re too chatty this morning,” Louis teased.
“I’ve always been like this, but you were always too busy to notice. I’m glad that Ms. Charlotte is here now, that way I’ll see you smile often,” Ms. Bella said, and Louis chuckled. “Ms. Charlotte, please take your seat,” she added, pulling seat out for Charlotte.
“Charlotte, I’ll be back early, I wish I could have breakfast with you but I’ve something to attend to at the hospital. Enjoy your breakfast, and song act rashly,” he said, and she smiled.
“I’ll await your return,” she muttered, and he kissed her forehead before hurrying out.
“What a gentleman,” Ms. Bella flattered.
“Louis has always been that way, I’m not even surprised,”
“You’ve known him for so long?”
“Yes, since I was a child. Although we separated, and recently came back together,”
“Oh… I’ve also been working for him for few years, but I never see him smile this brightly. He is always returning Ka the from work, and heading out early. But everything changed when he brought Mr. Ethan over, gosh… the house-…” she was saying, but Charlotte cut in.
“-…Mr. Ethan? My father?” Charlotte said, and Ms. Bella’s gasped.
“That’s man was your father?”
“Yes. How was he when he lived here?”
“Goodness… that man was always living under his own shadow like he was trying to repent from his sins. He never opened his windows nor his doors, he stays locked up in his dark room that I wonder how he survives Mr. Louis had a tough time holding up, he had to stock his room with junk food, desserts, canned food, and so many. But one day, he stepped out of his room, and I was glad that he could see the morning sun for the first time in ages, but that was the last time I saw him. He never returned, and Mr. Louis doesn’t know his whereabouts either. At times I wonder how he is doing, that man needed help,” she said, and Charlotte sniffed in. “Oh my gosh. I’ve forgotten that you said he is your father, I hope I didn’t upset you,”
“It was all my fault,” Charlotte muttered in tears.
“Oh my God, what have I done?” Ms. Bella thought, thinking of the best way to comfort Charlotte who was in tears.

Paulina got to school the following day, and Steven approached her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
“Hi, Lina,”
“Hi,”
“Are you ok?”
“Steve, do you think Mike is lying to us? I’ve reed a few novels, and most couples hate each other after they breakup be die they still want each other. Do you think he is happy about the engagement?”
“Why is that bothering you?”
“If Mike and Ava are together, then what will happen to me? What is they bully me together? I’m barely holding up against Ava thanks of Mike’s help, so how I’m go…-“, she was saying, but Micheal cut in joining them.
“…-that’s not going to happen!” He blurted, and they both looked at him.
“Mike…”. She shuddered, and he embraced her. “Ava and I won’t be together, that’s not gonna happen, so stop assuming things,” he assured.
“What’s going on here?” Austin asked, joining them, and they disengaged immediately.
“Wassup, man,” Stanley asked, approaching them.
“Wow, we all came early today,” Austin said.
“Is that someone to be celebrated?” Stanley teased.
“Shouod we skip the first class to go bunking?” Austin asked , winking at them.
“Is that your way to celebrate coming early?” Stanley teased, and they all laughed.

Ava arrived at school and summoned her friends to her suite before giving Lia a drafted letter.
“What’s this?” Lia asked, looking perplexed.
“A new news article,” Ava said, and they both looked at her.
“Again?” Alicia asked.
“I’m sorry, babe, but I get to do this. I was quarreled the last time, and what’s this story even about?” Lia said, reading the story.
“Oh my, it’s about, Mike. Did he really accept the engagement?” Alicia puzzled.
“I want you to inform the whole story that Mike and I accepted the engagement, and we will be getting married after high school. It’s relevant to school news, and it’s accurate. The engagement was announced during the school party, so who will quarrel you for that,” Ava said.
“O. M. G, babe. But is it true? Did Mike really accept the engagement? I mean… are you two really back together like old days?” Alicia wondered aloud.
“You can read, don’t make me repeat words!” Ava blurted.
“I’ll publish this, but I’ll have to interviews Mike first,” Lia said.
“Why do you have to interview him?” Ava queried.
“Because that’s the procedure. That’s how it’s done,”
“I agree with Lia, she needs Mike’s consent to publish an article about him. It things goes south, it would be bad for her,” Alicia said.
“If what’s written here is true, then interviewing Mike will add some vest to the story,” Lia said, and Alicia nodded along.
“So, are you calling me a liar?!” Ava blurted.
“Not that, babe, but this is Mike, the director of the school…” Lia shuddered.
“And I’m?” Ava lashed. “A liar?” She added, and Lia shook her head.
“I’ll publish it if it’s real, but… if things go astray, would you be held responsible?” Lia asked, and Ava smiled.
“I doubt that, but I’ll take full responsibility,”
“Can I add to the article that I got the informations from you?” Lia asked, and Ava hired at her.
Alicia let out a sigh, and winked at Lia. “Babe, what are you saying? Ava promised to take responsibility for the outcome, and there is no way Ava would lie about this,”
“Add it!” Ava blurted, and they both looked at her.
“Add what?” Lia asked, and Ava smirked.
“That you got the information from me, add it,” she said, and Lia smiled in relief.
“Thanks babe, I’ll get the article done before school dismisses,” Lia said, and Alicia giggled.
“This is gonna be so much fun,” Alicia sneered, and Lia giggled.
“I can’t wait!” They both cheered.

Louis left the hospital immediately after attending to his patients, he got a call from his driver updating him on Mr. Ethan (Charlotte’s father) location. He asked the driver to search for him in the bus station, after Charlotte confirmed to have seen him there. His current location was also around the bus station, so he headed there.

He got to the location, and he was looking around when a little boy bumped into him. A plastic bag off of the little boy hand, but the boy didn’t bother to take it and picked to his heels.
Louis ignored him, and continue on his ways, and encountered a chaos. He called the driver to confirm where Mr. Ethan really was, and the walked up to him.
“Sir, there seems to be a ruckus, that vendor assumed Mr. Ethan of theft,”
“Theft? What was he accused of stealing?”
“I didn’t get the full details, but whatever it was must be what she is selling,”
Louis went closer, and saw the ragged man (Charlotte father) being bullied, he interfered, and confirmed the missing item was the same thing that fell off from the little boy’s hand.
“I think someone else took it,” Louis defended. Before the vendor could protest, another man showed up with the plastic bag, the same plastic bag that fell off the little boy’s hand.
The ragged man was freed to go, and Louis lead him to his car.
“Mr. Ethan, I hope you’re fine?”
“Thanks for your intervention,“ Mr. Ethan muttered.
“You could have avoided the situation, sir,”
“I’m used to being accused,”
“You don’t have to live this way, sir,”
“What’s the point in living when I can’t even save my daughter or show myself to my granddaughter,”
“Charlotte is awake,”Louis said, and Mr. Ethan looked at him. “And she is in the city,” he added.
“Charlotte is here?”
“She is waiting for you, sir,” Louis muttered, and tears slid down from Mr. Ethan’s face.

LOUIS’S HOUSE^^^

Charlotte was gardening in company of Ms. Bella, she was engrossed in what she was doing that she didn’t hear Louis drive in.
“Hun, Mr. Ethan,” Ms. Bella spoke in awe.
“Da…dddy…” Charlotte shuddered, and tears floor freely from her eyes. “Daddy,” she cried, and ran unto his embrace.
Seeing her father that way really broke her heart, he was the opposite of the father she always knew, seeing him that way made her wonder how long he has been suffering, and blaming himself for everything.

They went inside together, and Louis excused them.
“What really happened, Charlotte? “
“I’m really sorry, dad, I abandoned you in jail and thought only about myself,”
“What really happened?”
“Dad, I’m sorry. I was only thinking about myself,” she broke down, sharing her despair —the story that lead to her sulcide.
“I’m sorry, Charlotte, I couldn’t protect you,”
“No, dad, there’s was nothing you could do to protect you,”
“What kind of a father am I?”
“You are the best father that I ever knew. That’s the kind of father you are,”
“How could you be hidden all these years?”
“I was given a new life when grandma rescued me, she lost her only daughter in the ocean, and have been waiting for years when some fishermen found me in the ocean, and she insisted that I was her missing daughter Paulina. She suffered from dementia so she insisted that I was her lost daughter. I found any purpose to live, and lived as her daughter for few months before she passed sway, and after I gave birth to my daughter, I named her Paulina, because that’s all I knew about gramma,”
“Charlotte, I’m glad that you’re fine, I’m really glad,” he muttered in tears.
“Daddy, we just need to get Paulina back, and live happily together,”
“You want to get Paulina from her father?”
“Paul isn’t her father, he can’t be a father to my child,”
“There is something you’ve to know, Charlotte,”
“What?”
“It’s about the Packard’s,”
“What’s it, dad?” Charlotte asked, her curiosity piqued.
“The Packard’s are behind everything, I never had anything to do with them, so I don’t know their motive, but everything is clear now, the funny politician probably did it to get you out of the way,”
“I don’t understand you, dad,”
“When I was in prison, Don paid me a visits and confessed to me. Mr. Packard threatened him, and made him excuse us to the prosecutors,”
“Grace’s father cleared us out of the way for Paul to marry him daughter?”
“We could put it that way. I’m sure they might. W behind the recent accident that you were involved in,” he remarked, and Charlotte stood up immediately.
“I’ve to go,dad,”
“Where to?”
“If Grace was really behind everything, my daughter isn’t safe, I’ve to get Paulina now,” she said, and her father held her back.
“Don’t be impulsive, you will only put yourself and your daughter in danger,”
“Then what do you want me to do, dad?” She sobbed, and he shook his head helplessly.

Paulina and the MASS were together in the MASS suite after school, chattering about random stuffs when Paulina carried her bag to leave.
“I said I’d give you a ride,” Micheal stated.
“You said so, but I’m hanging out with my friends, they are waiting for me, bye,”
“So what does that make us? Your enemies?” Austin shouted at her retreating back, and she winked at him before leaving.
“Mike, you didn’t tell us you accepted the engagement,” Stanley muttered, and they all looked at him.
“What nonsense are you spouting?” Mike blurted.
“The school papers published an article concerning your engagement,” Stanley said, and Austin collected his phone.
“What? This states that you accepted the engagement because you still love Ava,” Austin said, and Micheal stormed out immediately. “Hey! Where to?” He shouted after him.

Micheal barged into the principal’s office, and the principal flinched in fear.
“What is the school doing regarding that article?” He blurted.
“Mr. Russ, I already summoned the head to the school palates, I’ll make sure I take proper action against this,”
The door slugs open, and Ava barged in, her face covered with an evil smirk.
“Mr. Principal, can we have a moment in your office?” She asked, and the principal bowed before excusing himself.
“What’s this about, Ava? I know you’re behind the article!”
“Yes, Mike. I’m merely putting things in their right place,”
“Are you out of your senses? We hate each other, so why are you suddenly doing this?”
“Because I make the rules. The school might be yours, but you’ll do as I say anyways, you were always obedient when we were together, you begged me not to leave you, but I left and now… I want us back together,” she said, creasing his face, but he jabbed her hand off.
“You must’ve lost your mind. I’m going to take proper actions against whoever publish that, and their source, so be ready,” he said, aiming to leave but she clapped her hands to stop him.
“You’ve to accept it, Mike, that’s the only way you can holdup your dignity,” she muttered, and he looked at her.

Paulina and Sage waited for Sophia in Sage’s car for almost an hour before she joined them. Sophia was the one who proposed the impromptu outing, and Sage approved it, so Paulina couldn’t decline.
“I’m sorry, I was late guys,” Sophia said, and Paulina feigned an angry look.
“The outing was your idea, we all agreed on a time, but you came an hour later,”
“Babe, are you still hanging out with Mike?” Sophia asked.
“What’s new?” Sage inquired.
“Didn’t you see the school paper?” Sophia asked, and Sage collected the newspaper from her.
“They’re going to get married after school,” Sage said, and Paulina chuckled.
“Whatever the article said is all plotted by Ava. Remember the article they wrote about me,” Paulina said.
“This is legit, babe. Students captured them coming out of the principal’s office together, and they were even holding hands. That why I stayed so long,” Sophia said.
“You don’t mean it,” Sage muttered.
“I’ll have to confirm from Mike,” Paulina said, and left.
“Lina, wait!” They both shouted, running after her.
They got to the hallway, and met students surrounded, but they paved way immediately they saw her and she found her way to the middle where Michael and Ava stood.
“Mike,” she called, and everyone started murmuring words to themselves.
“What do you want, Lina? Mike is mine, and I’ve got him back. Your fake relationship is over now,” Ava teased, and everyone gasped
“Mike, what’s she talking about?” Paulina inquired, and Micheal started biting his lower lip. “You told me it isn’t true, Mike, so what’s she saying?”
“I’m sorry, Lina,” he muttered, and Ava smirked.
“So… it was all true?”
“Not completely true, I wasn’t completely honest with you from the start, I’m sorry,”
“It’s really over now,” Austin whispered to Stanley’s ear.
“You aren’t seeming sure to me, Mike,” Paulina muttered.
“I’m very sure about what I’m saying, and I’m glad this commotion brought you here to hear this directly from me today,”
“Mike…” she shuddered, and tears flowed freely from her face. Their relationship might be fake, and thier friendship might be bonded by the mutual feelings she thought they shared for Ava, yet she trusted him. Tears flowed freely from her eyes already feeling betrayed.
Save struggled to find his way to the middle to go to her, because she seems dumbfounded standing there and crying like a broken woman.
“Why are you crying, Lina? You don’t even know what I’m about to say,” Micheal said, and Ava looked at him
“We had an agreement, Mike,” she whispered to him.
“I wasn’t completely honest about my feelings for you, I love you Lina, and for the first time in my life, I want to fight for what I truly want, regardless the consequences,” he said, and everyone gasped.
Paulina eyes widened in shock, and Ava’s face twisted in anger. Sage who already found his way to the middle froze on his feet immediately.
“What’s he saying?” Austin grumbled.
“The truth,” Stanley muttered, all smiles.
“I’m sorry, Ava, you can keep being delusional. I know it did be best to say this in the stage you prepared, so listen well. My feelings for you disappeared the moment we broke up, and I moved on after meeting Lina again,” he said, and freed his hands from her grip.
“Mike…” Paulina shuddered, wondering if that was also a part of thier agreement.
“I’m sorry I scared you, Lina,” he muttered, and placed a kiss on her forehead, followed by applauses from the students.
