The maids keep whispering among themselves as they watched the duel between the guards
It was Carl against ten other guards but it didn’t take him few minutes before all of them were down.
“Ahhhh!!!! Did you see that?!!”
“Where’s Kai?” Adelaide asked beside Eleanor and she laughed
“I’m sure that lazy thing is somewhere hiding” Eleanor said and Adelaide also laughed
“How can he become a guard when he knows nothing about martial art? Gosh” Adelaide shook her head
“You really don’t know the reason why he came here?” Eleanor asked
“No I don’t,what is the reason?” Adelaide asked
“You’re so clueless” Eleanor scoffed and Adelaide took her bottom lip in
They turned back to the duel.
“Next??” Carl called but none of the guards moved
Seems no one is ready to fight him again
“I think they are scared” Eleanor chuckled
“Can I?” A voice suddenly said from the roof and everyone looked up to see Jimmy grinning like a kid
“Is he really….can he even fight with that face of his?” Eleanor said
Carl gestured at him to come down
Jimmy jumped down from the roof and winked at Carl
? Did he just winked at me?

Carl scoffed
“The duel between the commander and The prince’s guard will start now!!” Colton,the second in command said out loudly and everywhere became silent as the two positioned their swords.
Carl made the first move,the sounds of continuous sword th-ru_sting and hitting against each other while the two kept avoiding and ducking each hit from each other
“Who do you think is gonna win?” Eleanor asked
“I don’t know” Adelaide muttered,her eyes not leaving them
Suddenly they both clashed against each other at once and their swords crossed,they maintained the position while pushing with their strengths,their eyes not leaving each other.
Carl overpowered Jimmy and he staggered backward but immediately regained his stamina and then charged toward Carl again
“They are both amazing” Eleanor smiled
Jimmy kept moving closer to Carl while brushing his sword all over him trying to make him lose the eye focus,
Carl suddenly spined around and jumped before delivering the sword stroke but Jimmy’s sword also crashed against it at the same time and they both fell and then got up at the same time.
They exchanged glances and then started the fight again,The moment Carl tried hitting Jimmy,his eyes met with Lisa as she was walking. He lost focus immediately and Jimmy kicked the sword from his hand
? The Prince’s guard won!!

Everyone started murmuring
Carl ignored it and ran after Lisa,he grabbed her hand when he caught her
Lisa immediately turned in shock
“Where are you going?” Carl asked,breathing heavily
“What do you mean? I’m not sneaking out” Lisa said and Carl sighed
He rough his hair
“Are you okay? Why are you breathing so……”
“Thanks to you I lost the duel,I thought you were sneaking out again” He muttered and walked away
Lisa smiled and ran after him
“Are you worried about me?” She asked
“Of course,the king won’t listen to my excuse if you leave the palace” He replied and Lisa frowned
“The King” She scoffed and walked away
Jimmy cleared his throat from the back and Carl turned
“Are you hitting on the princess?” He asked
“You should mind your tongue” Carl said and started walking
“But I’m right” Jimmy followed him
“No you’re not,I’m not in any position to hit on her” Carl replied
“You’re right” Jimmy muttered
“Geez,I should take my bath. I stink so badly” Carl muttered as they both entered his suite
“Should we bath together?” Jimmy asked
“Are you crazy?!!!!” Carl yelled and Jimmy laughed
“All right all right,I was just joking” He continue laughing
Carl scoffed and went into the bathroom
“Wait! I won the duel right??!!!!! I won!!!” Jimmy started jumping
“Yes you won,can you keep quiet now?” Carl asked
“I can’t,winning against the great commander,,,goodness!!!”
Carl closed the door loudly and Jimmy laughed

“I seriously can’t stand that girl anymore,I just want her to leave” Nadia said as she glared at Adelaide beside Eleanor
“Me too,it’s a pity everyone grew fond of her” Melita scoffed
“Seems we all h@të the same person,I also h@të her” Esmeralda joined them
“Really?” Nadia asked and she nodded
“I wish I can get rid of her” Nadia muttered
“Well you can,If we plan” Esmeralda grinned and they both faced her
“What plan?” They asked at a time and Esmeralda smirked

KING’S CHAMBER**
“My king” Matilda entered and King Lucian turned
“What are you doing here?” He asked
“Are you still angry? I’m really sorry,you know I’m not like that….”
“That’s what I want to believe Matilda,that it was a mistake. But it was too serious to be called a mistake” King Lucian said
“I didn’t really mean to do that,please believe me” She said
King Lucian nodded
“I hope it won’t happen again,I don’t want you to touch her or hurt her in any way. Don’t let that repeat itself” he said
Matilda fold her fist secretly and nodded
“Good” King Lucian said
Matilda smiled and moved into him,she hugged him
“Go to bed,I’m really tired” Lucian said
“I can make you feel better” Matilda said
“Go,I will call you when I need you”
“You’re still angry with me” Matilda muttered
“No I’m not” Lucian said
“Good night” she bowed and simply walked out
“Anyone there?” King Lucian gestured and immediately two guards rushed in
“Your majesty!” They bowed at once
“Bring the King’s maid” King Lucian says
“Yes your majesty”
They went out again

Adelaide entered the King’s Chamber
“The king is in the bedroom” The maid who came to clean off the meal said and Adelaide immediately went to the bedroom.
She entered and met King Lucian on the bed with a book in his hand
“My king,I’m here” She bowed
Lucian looked up,he dropped the book in his hand and stood up.
Adelaide also looked up since she’s shorter
“I’m about to sleep” Lucian said and Adelaide nodded
“I need to change into the sleeping robe” He added and Adelaide’s eyes widened
“What,aren’t you the King’s maid? The only one” He smiled
“That’s…right” she mumbled
“But you’re still ignorant,don’t worry the court lady will tell you what to do.” King Lucian said And she blinked twice
“Adelaide?” They heard the court lady’s voice
“Go”
Adelaide bowed and immediately ran out of the bedroom
King Lucian chuckled naughtily when he remembered her cute innocent face earlier
He started pacing around the room,minutes later,Adelaide finally entered. He turned to see,she closed the door slowly,her bottom lip inside her mouth.
She gently walked closer to him
“I will do a great job your majesty” she bowed and walked into the dressing room,she got one of the sleeping robe like the court lady had told her before she returned to the bedroom.
She moved closer to Lucian and started loosing his wear,Lucian’s eyes never left her face,his eyes followed her every moves.
Adelaide finally undid his wear and his naked chest came into view,her heart beat increased immediately and she stopped for a second staring at the total sëxiness of his chest.
She swallowed and pulled off the wear completely from his shoulder,she raised her head to see Lucian’s eyes taunting into her face.
She immediately looked away and put on the sleeping robe on him
“My King,I’m done…” She said with her tiny voice
King Lucian laid on the bed
“Take a seat” he muttered tapping a side of the bed
Adelaide slowly sat down,she was surprised when he placed his head on her laps
“Make me sleep” He said and closed his eyes
Adelaide nodded and began stroking his haur
“It was boring staying here all day right?” Lucian asked without opening his eyes
“Yes my……” She stopped
“No it wasn’t” she said and bite her lips
Lucian opened his eyes and they went to her tiny red lips
He raised his head from her laps
“Do you need anything my king?” Adelaide asked
He continue staring at her lips
“They are tempting me” He said
“Huh? What?” Adelaide asked naively and King Lucian chuckled
Adelaide kept mute and bite her lip
“You can go” Lucian said
“Yes my king”she got up
“And stop biting your lips that way around other people,it’s…….” Lucian stopped and Adelaide raised his brows
“Goodnight” He muttered and fell back on the bed
Adelaide bowed one last time before walking out wondering what he meant by that
