****POLICE STATION****
It wasn’t long after Camille arrived at the police station that Sam and summer also arrived.
” Hey sis, have you seen him?” Sam asked Walking over to his sister who was waiting for the police man to attend to her
” No they haven’t attended to me yet” Camille said
” I got this” summer said and talked to them she showed them a few IDS that were in her purse.
” Ok… Hanes,take them to see me cruise” the police man said and both Camille and sam were surprised .
” How did you handle that?” Camille asked cause she has been waiting for long and they didn’t even look at her like they were being ordered.
” It’s nothing…just go see your dad” summer said as Camille went in
” Thank you” Sam said and hugged her.. Summers heart was in fire,beating really fast that she thought it might burst.
” Sam…you’re squeezing me” she said cause Sam was hugging her really tight.
” Oh sorry” Sam said and went in.
Camille was seated discussing with her dad through a phone cause she wasn’t allowed talk to him without it.
” I know you didn’t do it dad” Camille said almost bursting into tears
” How did it happen?” She asked
” I was going to the garage when done police men were pursuing me saying they received information that I was involved in a murder case ,I argued but they asked for permission to search my car,I allowed them since I had nothing to hide but I don’t know how they found a gun…please Camille,help me,I can’t go to jail…who’ll take care of you all if I’m in here” he said and Camille burst into tears and her brother patted her.
” Don’t worry dad…” She said but he cut her off.
” The person with the murder case has decided to push the case through…I don’t want to go to court… people like us have no one” he said and Camille was shocked.
“You’re not going to jail dad… we’ll make sure that doesn’t happen” Sam said from behind
” Five minutes is up” one of the officer said
” Ok… goodbye dad, we’ll come back to check on you” she said and left.
As they were leaving the police man called her back.
” Miss ,I advice you to talk to the one who is pushing this case through…cause he’s serious about it…but if you can see him and try to look for some evidence then maybe he’ll let it slide” the man said and Camille was greatful for him
” Ok, thanks so much” she said and the officer wrote his address and gave it to her.
” Visit him as soon as possible” he earned them..and Camille nodded.
He knew what he was doing,he was ordered by the owner of the case to give Camille his address though he doesn’t know why but he did it anyways.
” Thanks alot” Camille said and left with Sam.
They met summer at the entrance.
” What did he say?” She asked them asthrh walked out.
” The case might put through but if I can see the owner maybe I’ll try to talk to him ,maybe he’ll listen” Camille said already feeling furstrated with the whole situation and just then she received a call it was from Zoey.
” Hey Zoey… what’s up” she asked
” It’s bad Camille,grandma situation is worse ,I managed to get her admitted to a hospital but they said if we don’t perform the operation on her within two hours…she might,…” Zoey said crying and that was more than enough to get Camille crazy
” Um… ok, I’ll try to get the money” she said and hung up
” What happened?” Sam asked and she told him everything.
‘ gosh Camille,where are we going to get two million in the next two freaking hours and there is dad stuck in bars not sure if he’s gonna come out” Sam said already furstrated.
” I know…I know , I’m tired to okay,..I don’t know where I’ll find the money but I can try at least” she said.
” I have five hundred thousand dollars” summer said …
” What?’ Sam asked surprised.
” I was planning to use it when I travel but seems like you need it more” summer said.. she wanted to help even though it meant she would have to go back home since there’s no more cash to settle in another country.
” But ..summer you needed that money” Sam said.
” You need it More… I’ll find another way but this is your only option” she said and Sam looked at Camille.
” I don’t even care…thanks summer,if I get myself back on track,I’ll pay you back”she said crying.
” No need,were family remember…you’d do the same for me if I was in this position”summer said and Camille hugged her.
” Thanks for everything…you’re really my angel .. a sister I never had” she said
” Don’t say that or Zoey will kill you” she said and Camille managed to smile
” I’ll follow summer home to collect the money ,you go and see the man ” San said and Camille nodded.
Sam and summer entered Sam’s motorcycle home while Camile boarded s taxi.
She didn’t know how she’s convince the man…but she prayed for God’s guidance.
