“Softball! Food is ready!” Brad yelled taking the beautiful glass dinner table to the middle of the room. He jolted the two whom halted their dialogue.
“Yippee! I’m really starving… Thanks Brad” Samantha smiled running towards him.
“Let’s go to the kitchen so you can help bring in some utensils and the food too”
“Okay… After you” Samantha replied as they walked to the kitchen. They entered after Brad opened the door.”Hey Brad, Can I ask a question… I don’t really know if it’s gonna be personal?” Samantha asked after gathering her courage
“Tell me anything Soft ball, Brad is here for you” Brad retorted flashing a cute smile. Samantha chuckled and looked at him.
“When they were quarrelling then, I overheard Blaze talking about Newton’s parents which made him angry, Can I ask…….,, What about Newton parents? Is something wrong?”
Brad sighed, clicked his tongue and stared into space.
“Huh, Soft ball… I’m sorry but it’s personal like you thought it would be–Samantha nodded to his statement. “So, It’s not in my place to reply that” Brad replied
“It’s okay… I understand” Samantha said smiling
“I’m grateful you do understand, By the way too, I was quite correct when I gave you your nickname”
“What? You mean “Softball”,,Why did you say that?” Samantha laughed.
Suddenly, Brad placed his both hands on Samantha’s chest(left and right). Samantha felt shocked to the extent of being numb. She swallowed hard and pushed his hand away quickly.
“Hey… What do you think you are doing?” Samantha asked widening her eyes and holding her chest.
“Are’nt you a guy?There’s nothing bad there,….. Your chest is soft that’s why and also– He paused placing his palms into her both palms. He squeezed them softly which made cold shivers run through her body. She felt weird, and her heart beat increased. Yeah… She was a girl, What do you expect?
“Your palms are incredibly soft, It makes me feel you’re a girl……–Aiish, Look at your shocked eyes, Don’t worry….I’m just kinda saying, You might think I’m weird, But “No”….Hey! Why do you keeping bulging your eyes, Infact… I take it back, Don’t mind my words, Forget about, Softball?”
Samantha stared at him and swallowed hard. Brad bit his lips regretting ever saying the statement. He removed his palms from hers and smiled.
“Get that, Let’s eat” He finally said pointing to the pot of rice which jolted Samantha to reality.

“Hey? Are you sure he isn’t a pig, Maybe He was actually a pig in his previous life?” Newton whispered to Blaze as they watched Samantha who ate the food like her life depended on it. The guys opened their mouths in awe.
“What’s this? Seems he’s pretty hungry” Blaze laughed
“No… This is how I eat, Whether Hungry or not!” Samantha retorted
“What? Really?” Brad asked. Samantha looked at him and quickly removed her gaze off him. She couldn’t bear to look at him.
Brad sighed, it was probably because of what he said? Huh? Was he still angry with him?.
“Blaze, You are a really wonderful and great cook…5/5!!” Samantha smiled showing her all her teeth which seemed to shine just like her smile radiated. She gave him a thumbs up with her thumb finger while she continued smiling
Newton stared at her smile and felt his heart skip for a second. He blinked his eyes and couldn’t take his eyes off her. Samantha who recovered from her smile met Newton still looking at her. He seemed lost already.
“Hey? Why are you staring at me?” Samantha asked confused
“Wh—What?” Newton asked almost in a stammer.
“You kept staring at me… Why? Is there something on my face?” Samantha asked touching her smooth pretty face.
Newton blinked his eyes faster and turned his neck.
“Yeah… Something is on your face” He replied swiftly
“Huh? What’s that??” She asking running her fingers through her face.
“It’s your ugliness” He replied with a chuckle.
