NINA’S NAILS SALOON***
“I love the designs you did on my nails. You’re talented” A Lady said admiring her almond nails.
“Thanks Miss. I’m glad you like it” Nina said smiling and Velvet enters the saloon.
“Velvet”.
Velvet looks around the saloon and scoffs.
“Is so unhygienic here, I guess I will have to go somewhere else”.
“If it was unhygienic to you, Why did you bother to come inside in the first place” Nina said.
“Because I just want to inform you about it” Velvet said and took the lady’s hand.
“How can you call yourself a nails stylist when you can’t even do it properly” Velvet said throwing the lady’s hand away.
“Why’re you here to cause trouble Velvet?” Nina asked.
“Is ma’am. Oh I forgot, poor folks like you don’t know the meaning of respect”.
“At least I’m not like you, who will go naked in front of a guy” Nina said, the lady gasps and Velvet felt embarrassed.
“How dare you Nina!!” She yells trying to slap Nina, but Greg caught her hand from behind.
“Greg” Nina muffled.
“What do you think you’re trying to doing?” Greg asked Velvet with an angry face.
“Let go of my hand Greg” Velvet said trying to take her hand from him.
“What is your problem Velvet? Are you trying to pick on my girlfriend because I didn’t reciprocate to your feelings. You’re more pathetic than I thought” Greg said releasing her hand and Velvet glared at him.
“Get lost before I loose it” Greg warned.
“Just know that you’re fired Greg”.
“Don’t bother, I already submitted my resignation paper. Now leave” Greg said.
Velvet flights back her tears and leaves the saloon.
“Are you all right Love?” Greg said with his hands on Nina’s waist.
“Yes I’m fine” Nina answers smiling.
“I missed you” Greg said attempting to kiss Nina, but the lady from earlier clears her throat, Greg and Nina looks at her.
“I’ll be going now Nina. I’ll also tell my friends about you” The lady said.
“Thanks a lot Miss” Nina said. The lady smiles and leaves.
“Seems you’re getting lot of patronizers”
“Yes I’m. Thanks to my handsome boyfriend who got me the best site for my saloon” Nina said smiling and Greg kissed her lightly.
“Were you serious about resigning from your working place?” Nina asked.
“Yes I’m. Thankfully I got a new job and it pays so well. With my income we can start preparing for our wedding”.
Nina smiles and coiled her arms around Greg’s neck.
“Then I can’t wait”.
“Just a wait a little while and we’re going to be husband and wife” Greg said and kiss her again, Nina smiles.
“And Paige?” She asked.
“We’re still trying to look for her and Carding. We have no idea where those two are”.
“Is hard for them to accept the situation at stake. So they should be given time to accept the truth” Nina said.
“I hope they’ll be able to overcome this. But Nina I think you’re adding weight” Greg said scanning her body with his eyes.
“Really?” Nina said going to the mirror.
“Yeah. Your B@@bs also increase in size. Are you by chance pregnant?” Greg asked smiling.

EMPIRE HIGH***
Nadia came out from the school’s block and sees Bryan holding a bouquet of flowers in his hand looking at the students going home. She smiles and went to him.
“Bryan. I knew you were going to reason with me. But you shouldn’t have come here, you even got me flowers” She said smiling.
Bryan looks at her blankly.
“You must have high esteems for yourself”
“Huh?”
“Do you think I’ll come all the way here just to give you flowers after our break-up?” Bryan asked.
“Then who’re this flowers for Bryan?” Nadia asked sadly.
“You both haven’t seen themselves? Where on earth are those two?” Desiree said over the phone coming out from the school’s block.
Bryan smiles and went to her.
“Desiree” He calls with a smile.
“I’ll call you back Dylan” Desiree said and ends the call.
“Bryan, what’re you doing here?” She asked and Bryan gave her the bouquet of flowers, smiling.
“What this for Bryan?” She asked with a smile.
“Be my val for tomorrow Desiree” Bryan said and Desiree chuckles taking the flowers from him.
“What up with you? You’re acting strange” Desiree said sniffing in the fragrance of the flower, smiling. Bryan takes her hand.
“I have something to show you”
“Which is?” Desiree asked and he smiles enchantingly.
“Is a surprise” Bryan said leaving with Desiree, holding her hand.
“Let’s watch a movie together tomorrow and spend the Valentine’s day together too” Bryan added as he left the school premises with Desiree.
Nadia’s heart broke into pieces. If she’d knew things were going to turn out like this, she won’t have broken up with Bryan, Nadia thought, crying heartbreakingly.

“Let me go, let go of me!!!” Carding screams as he was pushed out from the bar. He reeks of alcohol and his face were bruised up, indicating that he was beaten up by some of the guys inside the bar.
“Let me drink myself to Death!!! This pains is too for me to bear, let me through, I want to drink some more!!!” Carding screams trying to enter the bar again, but the security men pushed him to the floor.
“Carding” Paige call him with tears dropping down her eyes. Carding looks at her and quickly rushed to where she was standing, hugging her so tightly.
“I missed you so much Paige. Let’s run away and be together. I won’t accept you as my sister, so let’s run away Paige” Carding said crying, still hugging her tightly.
Paige fight back her tears and breaks the hug, she caress Carding’s face and more tears falls down her eyes.
“Let’s face reality Carding. No matter how much we love each other, we have to let go of our feelings for each other”.
And Carding shakes his head crying.
“I don’t want to Paige. I love you so much, I don’t want to accept that you’re sister”.
“But still we’re still Half siblings. In as much as I don’t want to accept Vince as my father, he’s still my father and you’re my brother, so let’s end this while we still can… Let’s break up and try to accept that we’re siblings. Paige said crying and tries to leave, but Carding hugs from behind, holding her tightly.
“Please don’t this to me Paige, I’m begging you don’t break up with me, please” Carding said crying. Paige hicups in tears and break the hug.
“Is so hard for me as well Carding. But let’s try to accept what fate has given to us, please let’s forget that we were once a couple” Paige said crying.
She tries to leave again, but Carding pulled her back and kiss her. Paige immediately kiss him back when she felt his lips on hers.
But remembering the fact that they’re siblings, she breaks the kiss.
“Paige”
“I’m begging you Carding, please don’t make it hard for me, please just forget about me, I’m begging of you, don’t come anywhere close to me anymore. You’re my brother and I have to accept that” Paige said and without further words she took to her heels.
“Paige, please don’t break up with me. I love you!!!” Carding screams crying as he ran after Paige who was crying and running as well.
Paige crossed to the other side of the road, Carding tries to crossed too, but a speedy car hits him.
Carding flew to the air and landed back on the car’s bonnet and rolled off from it to the ground, blood gushed out from his entire body.
Paige slowly turns to look at what just happened and when she sees Carding lifeless on the floor, Balls of tears falls down her eyes.
“Carding!!!” She screams out, rushing to where he was laying lifeless.
