” You’re not human after all” Silvio’s smirk widened.
In anger, Spicy attacked him into a fight but no matter how she tried, she couldn’t beat him.. he keep ducking and dodging all her punches and kicks with ease. His eyes caught the birthmark at the back of her neck which was shining slightly.
” So it was it..” he said in his mind and stared at her.
” Stop that thing before it causes an earthquake.. ” he said referring to the golden liquid leaving her wounded arm instead of blood. It looked nothing like blood.
She stopped attacking him when he said that.
” How do you know that?” She asked. She stared at her arm and sighed.
” Is that your secret? Is that why you’re scared of sharp objects?” He pointed at the liquid leaving her arm.
” You…. she quickly covered his mouth, muffling the rest of his word.
” Shut the fûçk up, walls has ears..” She scolded, releasing his mouth. She grabbed his jacket from his bed and cleaned her arm and strangely, the cut wasn’t there any longer. A new flesh grew back and Silvio smirked even more.
” You can heal too” He said but she ignored him.
” You don’t feel pain but always pretend to right? You deserve an Oscar, you’re a great actress” He said again as he sat on his bed.
” Was I an experiment to you? Since when have you known this?” She asked sitting on the bed too, her body touching his slightly.
” That shouldn’t be your concern.. just worry about yourself.. ” he replied, standing on his feet..
” Are you a priest?? ”
” I don’t know if no one has ever told you this, but you’re very disrespectful.. how dare you make body contact with me? Don’t you know respect?”
” Why should I respect you? Are you a deity or something? It would have been better if you were a prince.. she scoff and he looked at her.
” I’m no deity… ”
” Then you’re a prince?” She asked, standing up.
” What you should be concerned about, is the fact that I know your secret. I guess there’s more and I wouldn’t mind finding out, so watch your back..” he said.
” Wow, had no idea you could talk this much”
” I’m standing right in front of a non human, giving it a chance to live, what do you expect?” he asked and her eyes widened.
” What?!!” She exclaimed but he ignored her and started heading for the door.
” You are like me too, aren’t you?” She asked and he faced her.
” I’m not..” he replied and she scoffed.
” I’m sure you are..” she rolled her eyes while he picked up the knife, he cut his arm and blood came out of it..
” I bleed, unlike you who doesn’t bleed blood.. ” he replied.
” I’m human, guess your low IQ failed you again today..” he said nonchalantly, twisting the door knob.
” Who are you then?” She asked staring at his bleeding arm. He cleaned the blood and the wound was still there.. He didn’t heal like her and she was surprised.
” Your greatest nightmare, Someone who’s to kill you..” he said plainly before walking out of his room leaving her there all alone..
” That wizard..” she mumbled staring at her arm that was healed up already..
” Gosh I’m scared.. am I safe? He knows my secret” she thought worriedly.
” Is he a priest? He bleeds but I don’t, I heal but he doesn’t.. wait, I should check his arm without his consent tomorrow..” She smirked.
” I really want to know who he is” She nodded at her thoughts.
Lyra had always told her to hide it from people cos humans are unpredictable but now, someone apart from her parents knew. Could she trust him? She doesn’t feel pain but act like she does.. she also heal up by herself without treatment.
She exhaled deeply and stood on her feet, arranging the scattered books and shattered flower vase.

Silvio left the hotel and started walking to where his guts were leading him to. He kept walking untill he came across the boar, but it was dead. It didn’t just die.. it’s whole body was dried up as if it’s blood was sucked by vampires..
” She did this? ” He wondered, still staring at it..
” May your spirit find peace..” he uttered and immediately, the boar’s body vanished into thin air.
” Spicy.. what nature of spirit being are you?” He asked himself, walking away from where he stood.
” If you join forces with the evil and decide to bring calamities to the world someday, I won’t hesitate to run my dagger in your birthmark” He added and the wind blew greatly as if to attest to his words before it calmed.
He looked around again before walking back to the hotel where he met Jayce in the passage way.
They passed by themselves but Jayce stopped after taking few steps and faced him..
” Why do I always feel strange beside you?” He asked but Silvio just stared at him.
” I see you saved her ” He replied instead.
” What?”
” It seems your Powers are finally manifesting..” he said and with that, he started walking away.
” What is he saying?” Jayce wondered staring at him untill he was out of sight.. he decided not to go out any longer as he walked back to his room.
Spicy was already sleeping soundly on Silvio’s bed after she was done with cleaning.. she decided to rest for a while but didn’t know she’ll fall asleep.
Silvio walked in only to see her sleeping soundly, he looked around and everything was well arranged.. A new flower vase was on his shelf and everything looked cool again.
He returned his gaze to her and frowned.
” Why would a non human sleep on my bed?” He muttered, walking towards her.. He grabbed his bedspread at the edge and pulled it, making her fall hard to the ground while she winced, waking up in the process.
” You wanna Kill me, you jerk..” she said, standing on her feet.
” Stop pretending to be in pain when you don’t feel any, now leave my room..” he said, more like an order and she scoffed.
” Did anyone ever tell you you’re rude? She said walking to him in an attempt to punch him but somehow, he duck and She went crashing into the wall.
“‘Ouch..” she winced.
” I’m a girl for heaven sake! Were we enemies in our past lives?”
” You not a girl, you’re just a spirit being in the body of a human..” he said plainly and She frowned.
” Now leave my room this minute if you still value your life” he said seriously and somehow, that sent frightful shivers to her spine.
She gave him a deadly glare before leaving the room
” Uselèss àssbrain” she gave his door a hard kick, almost breaking it.

Jayce sat on his bed and couldn’t get his thoughts straight. His mind drifted to Spicy and he stood up.
” I should check on her..” he muttered and left his room and started proceeding to hers.
He met Sua and Kitten on his way.
” Hey.. ” he waved.
” Hey ” Sua smiled.
” Going somewhere?” Kitten asked.
” Sure, to see spicy..” he replied.
” We’re going to meet her too. I couldn’t sleep so I want to spend the night with her” kitten replied and Jayce nodded..
” Let’s go together then..” he said and they resumed going to her room.
Kitten placed a knock on her door and spicy got the door seconds later.
” Hey, come in..” she smiled, opening the door wide for them.
They got in and Jayce sat on the couch while kitten and Sua sat on her bed..
She checked the time and it was 8pm already.
” Mrs Choi said we won’t have any class tomorrow so we can stay in door all day..” spicy spoke up.
” Oh my God, Are you for real? No class tomorrow? Gosh I love Mrs Choi..” kitten gushed.
” Such a lazy àss..” Spicy shook her head while Sua chuckled.
” How did you find spicy, Jayce? ” Sua asked.
” I don’t know either.. ” he forced a smile.
” It’s fine if you don’t wanna tell me..” Sua said and he chuckled but still didn’t say anything about it.
They kept talking and laughing while Jayce just kept mute, staring at Spicy.. The way she smiled, laugh and interact with her friends was just too cute.
They kept talking and laughing which got into Silvio’s room.. Their noise and laughter was frustrating him real bad yet he choose to ignore.
” I’ll be on my way now spicy.. ” Jayce stood up.
” So soon?” Kitten asked.
” It’s getting late..” he replied.
” But you own your room right? You have the keys and can go in anytime you want.. so ‘ It’s getting late’ is one lame excuse..” Sua said.
” Alright.. I promise to stay a little longer with you guys tomorrow, I need to rest properly ”
” I’ll see him off.. ” spicy stood up too.
She walked to him and he smiled at her, holding her hands as they left the room.
” Don’t you agree they’re cute together?” Kitten faced Sua.
” Sure, they are ” she forced a smile before looking down.
” Oh please, stop it.. I know you’re jealous and I was too, but I’m leaving everthing to fate.. so I wouldn’t want to worry myself a lot..”
” You need to cheer up Sua, if he likes you, he’ll surely see it..” kitten held her hands and she laughed.
” Jeez, can’t believe you’re advising me right now” Sua laughed loudly and kitten joined in the laughter..
” I wonder what they’re saying that’s making them laugh that loud. My grumpy neighbor will surely get màd” Spicy said in her head before facing Jayce.
” Thanks for coming for me when I thought I was gonna dîe”
” What do you mean? Why did you say ” You’re my seeker?” Jayce asked and she shook her head
” Just leave it that way, but I’m grateful you came.. who knows, maybe I would have been dead by now if it weren’t for you..” she smiled before walking into his arms.
” I won’t leave your side.. I hope you come save me whenever I’m in danger..” she said in the hug before disengaging from it.
” Wait.. Should I be happy?” He asked.
” Of course you should be, since someone as hot as me is with you..” Spicy said teasingly.
” But don’t get it twisted though” she smiled at him before walking to her room..
He smiled softly and walked away..

” What should we do with kitten and Sua?” Denise asked.. ” Can’t believe that thing slapped me.. ” She added.
” You should be happy Sua slapped you.. kitten’s hand was d@mn painful. I wish I could strangle the d@mn cat to death” Lilah balled her fist.
” I’ll need to do something cràzy to her during class tomorrow” Hazel smirked.
They laughed briefly before changing the topic as they discussed.
