“You are here to work, and not to stare at me like a confused goat” Dexter mocked, and some of the workers started laughing lowly.
“W…what?” Lira said inwardly, trying to hide her embarrassed face.
“You’re all welcome to KLEIN’S COMPANY” Dexter ignored and started.
“You can’t be lazy if you really want to work with me. I h@të lazy workers.
“You are here to work, so do it diligently” Dexter said.
He then looked at Lira who was still looking at him. She just can’t stop staring at him.
Anyway, she quickly looked away when Dexter started smirking.
“Get to work!” Dexter ordered, and they scurried off to their different places.
He left the factory immediately, with Spencer following behind.
“So rude,mean and arrogant!” Lira shouted, but smiled.
“I still love you,no matter how rude you are. And I am happy to be here” She smiled again, before leaving the spot too.

The workers murmured within themselves.

“Those witches had the guts to throw me out,in my husband’s house” Victoria ragingly said,shaking her body like a chicken that has been beaten by the rain.
Roland walked in just then and found his mom angry.
“Mom,what’s wrong? Are you okay?” Roland asked,as he went to the couch and sat down.
“Mo….m? What’s the problem…
“Isn’t it those two witches who had to guts to throw me out…they had the guts to throw me out!” Victoria repeated,and angrily stumped her foot on the ground.
“What are you talking about,mom? Who are the witches?” Roland asked.
“Janice and her stupid daughter,those two idiots!
“That stupid girl served me ice tea with an unforgiving pepper in it,on a very hot weather.
“I almost ran mad yesterday,I will deal with them dearly.
“They not only did that,but threw me out. I will show them both what I am capable of!” She thundered.
“They did what!? How dare they do that to you!
“But,mom. What did you go there to do?” Roland asked with raised shoulders.
“Seriously? Are you seriously asking me that now?
“Don’t I have a husband there anymore? I went to see Robert your dad,but I got chased away instead.
“Is it now a crime to see my husband? Is it!?” She shouted at the top of her voice.
“It’s okay,please stop shouting” Roland calmly said,trying to pacify her.
” I am calm,very very calm. But I will so deal with those two,seems they’ve forgotten” Victoria smirked.
She finally sat down,and turned to look at Roland.
“How’s the plan going so far” She asked,calmly.
“Lira is there already” He replied,grinning.
“I hope she doesn’t ruin this” Victoria scoffed.
“She won’t. If there’s anyone who can ruin that jerk’s Company,then it should be Lira” Roland replied,confidently.
He took out his phone from his pocket and started going through his photos,searching for Annika’s.
He smiled when he found one of her beautiful pictures.
“I love you,Anni. And I’m sorry I stupidly left without telling or saying anything to you.
“I need to see her,we need to talk” He muffled.
Victoria sat back,staring at him confusedly.
“Roland,are you okay? Why are you talking to yourself?” Victoria asked.
She got off the seat and went close to Roland,feeling his temperature to know if he’s alright.
Cos she doesn’t understand why he’s talking to himself.
“Darn it,mom! I am fine,jeez!” Roland rolled eyes.
“Then why are you talking to yourself like a mad person,if you’re alright” Victoria said.
“Just leave me alone please” Roland said.
“Look,you have to work towards getting that big Company from your dad. You can’t let Chexter,or wh@tëver his name is to have that Company” Victoria said,seriously.
“I am working towards that already,can’t you see?! Roland ruffled his hair,frustratingly.
“Better work faster” Victoria said.
“Why are you even pushing me to do this so much? Have you forgotten I am the younger son?
“It’d be hard to get that Company. It is not as easy as you think,okay?” Roland said.
“I don’t care,just do wh@tëver you have to do to get that Company! He’s just a year and some months older than you,anyway” Victoria yelled and left.
^^ JAY’S BOUTIQUE AND STORES^^
“Good morning,ma” Brielle respectfully greeted Mrs Jay when she walked in.
Mrs Jay is her boss,and the boutique is actually where she was offered the job of a receptionist,and she has started work already.
“Good morning,Brielle. How are you?” Mrs Jay asked,smiling.
“I am fine thank you,ma” She replied,bowing in respect.
“Good to know” She replied and went inside,but came out almost immediately.
“Umm,where is Kayla?” She asked when she did not see Kayla around.
Kayla is one of the sales persons in the boutique,and she’s one of the people Mrs Jay likes.
That’s why she was quick to notice Kayla’s absence.
“She’s not here yet,ma. She actually wasn’t feeling too well yesterday,so I’m not sure she’s coming to work today” Brielle answered.
“How come no one told me about that?” Mrs Jay said,with a furrowed brow.
“I don’t know,ma. It probably skipped her mind” She replied,and Mrs Jay sighed.
“Have you called to check on her,to know if she’s alright or not?” She asked,concerned.
“Haven’t done that yet,but will do that now” Brielle replied.
“Alright,be fast about it. We have a lot of orders and deliveries to make,and you’ll be helping with that since Kayla is not available” Mrs Jay said,and went back in.
While Brielle took her phone to call Kayla right away,a customer walked in that moment.
“Hey….good morning,and welcome to Jay’s boutique. I’m Brielle” Brielle said,smiling beautifully at her.
“Hi….I’m Verity. Are you the new receptionist? Cos I’ve never seen you here before” Verity said.
“Yes,I am” Brielle simply replied.
“I thought as much” Verity smiled,staring at Brielle intently.
Brielle smiled awkwardly as a result of the intent stare.
“Umm,there’s this particular shoes I saw here like two weeks ago,I hope you guys still gat it.
Though, I asked one of the sales persons to keep a pair for me” Verity said,and smiled.
“We should have any kind of shoe you’re looking for,cos my boss brought in new designers clothes and shoes just yesterday” Brielle replied confidently.
“Very good then, can we go search please” Verity asked.
“Sure,let’s go” Brielle replied.
Brielle took Verity to the side for shoes,and they began searching.
“Aren’t you buying clothes too?” Brielle asked Verity who still kept staring at her.
“If I see anyone I love,then I’m buying” Verity replied,and Brielle smiled.
They kept searching but still couldn’t find the very one Verity is looking for,they almost even gave up before they finally found it.
“My babies” Verity funnily said,widening her arms like she wants to hug the shoes.
Brielle started chuckling at the funny thing she was doing.
“Looks like you love fashion a lot”Brielle giggled.
“You can say that again. I really wanted to go into modelling,but my dad and mom are just something else. I’m still doing it anyway,whether they like it or not” Verity said,and Brielle chuckled.
When Brielle suddenly remembered her mom who wouldn’t stop giving headaches everyday,she frowned sadly.
But she quickly got the thought off her mind in order to attend to Verity.
Verity was still staring when Brielle turned to look at her.
“Sorry to ask,but why have you been staring at me that way since you came?” Brielle asked.
“Sorry about the stares,Brielle. It’s just that you look so much like my big sister” Verity smiled.
“Oh…now that explains the intent stares. I was starting to get nervous already” Brielle said and Verity giggled.
“You really are friendly and nice” Brielle told her,and she blushed immediately.
“My creator made me that way” Verity replied happily.
“Aww” Brielle gushed.
She then started packing the things Verity bought into a shopping bag.
“Thanks for shopping with us” Brielle smiled,handing the bag to Verity.
Verity nodded and smiled too, before collecting the bag from her.
“See you next time,Brielle. Nice meeting you” Verity said, and Brielle said same.
“Jeez! I can’t believe how much she looks like her” Verity mattered and left.
