⟨ NARMADA’S CHAMBER ⟩
Inside her room, Narmada is seen laughing and talking to some of the palace maids. She grew up into a beautiful young lady with a beautiful heart. She wasn’t putting on Royal robe, but robe that are worn by poor breed. And her was styled in a pigtail, like that of a common maiden.
And any new face in the palace, won’t hesitate to mistake her for a servant because of the way she was dressed. That’s the kind of person she grew up to become, being a princess and acting all bossy is not her thing.
She was still on the laughing and chitchatting when Queen Vanya enters the room and the maids all bowed to her and Queen Vanya gaved out a warm smile.
“I can see you’re all are entertaining my daughter with lots of gist. But can I talk to her alone?” She said smiling.
The maids nods their heads and bows their heads before leaving.
“What do you want to talk about mother?” Narmada asked, eating an apple, with one of her leg up and the other down.
“Can’t you at least sit like a noble Lady?” Queen Vanya asked.
“As long as the King who happens to be my father is not complaining, I don’t see anything wrong with it” Narmada said.
Queen Vanya sighs and sits beside her.
“Narmada. I think is time for you to get married” She said and Narmada scoffs.
“Here we go again with this marriage issue. How many times will I tell you that I’m not ready to tie the knot with someone”.
“You’re of age Narmada”.
“But that doesn’t mean I’ll just get married to a random man I just met” Narmada said.
“I agree with my sister. I won’t allow her get married to just any man” Waylon said entering Narmada’s chamber.
“Thanks Brother” Waylon said and hits knuckles with him.
“Really Waylon?” Queen Anjali asked.
“Yes mother. Narmada is my only sister and I want her to get married to a man that love her more than anything in the world” Waylon said.
“Then what about you? When are you getting married to Harlow?” She asked.
“Mother, I and Harlow are just friends. No strings attached” Waylon said.
“So you both don’t want to get married. Are you depriving me of seeing my grand children?” She asked sadly.
“You’re going to see them when the right time comes. I and Narmada are still enjoying our youthful age” Waylon said.
“I love you brother”
“I love you more sister”
And both laugh. Queen Vanya looks at them and sighs.
“Don’t you miss Cheng? Is being a decade that we last saw him” She said and both Narmada and Waylon stopped laughing.
“Well he brought it upon himself. He’s a demon” Narmada said.
“What about you Waylon? Don’t you miss him? You both used to be so close” Queen Vanya said.
Waylon looks at her and he remembered the times he always play with Cheng when he wasn’t yet possessed with a demon and he sighs.
“He’s no longer the Cheng I knew. Yes is being 10 years since we last saw him, but we can still tell he’s a demon. So for the benefit of everyone he should not be talked about” Waylon said.
“I agree with brother” Narmada said and Queen Vanya nods her head.
“And that remind me. I met someone interesting today” Waylon said.
“Who?” Both Narmada and Queen Vanya asked.
“Tatiana” He said smiling.

Tatiana walks around the wood still she got to the particular spot where she saved Cheng years ago. She looks around and she could see her young self running with Cheng with both of them holding hands.
She sighs sadly.
*Let’s meet when the full moon appears, I’ll be waiting for you at the place where you saved me from Mali and his minions, okay* Cheng’s voice from years ago echoes in her ear.
“I’m here again Cheng. Is the full moon tonight and yet you’re not here. What happened to you Cheng? Why didn’t you come see me after that night?” Tatiana asked sadly.
“I don’t want to think that the worst happened to you, so please Cheng, show your face to me. I don’t want to lose hope of hoping to see you again” She said with tears in her eyes and she sadly cleans it.
She also went to the garden that they both went to when they were kids and remembering their happy moment together made her miss him the more.
“I wish I can find out what happened to you, So that I can know if you’re alive or dead” She said sadly touching the Chinese rose flower and she remember how Cheng plucked a part of it and place it beside her ear.
And thinking about how Cheng pecked her cheek years ago, brought smiles to her sad face.

Tatiana walks one step after the other, walking back home.
“I hope my Aunt will be asleep by the time I get home. I don’t want to hear any of her nagging. I’ll also visit Swati tomorrow to thank her” She said walking but she stopped on her track when she saw something pasted on the wall.
She walks closer towards the paper on the wall, with her eyes reading through the lines.
“More maids needed in the palace, come to the palace for the testing if you’re interested in serving the Royal family” And Tatiana gasps after she read it.
“More maids needed in the palace!!” She read out loudly.
“If I go for the maid testing and I win, there’s a hundred percent hope that I’m going to see Cheng again” She said and screams loudly, jumping on her feet.
“I’m going to the palace. Get ready Cheng, cuz your bride is coming for you!!” She screams out laughing.
