{DONOVAN’S MANSION~~ SAME MORNING}
Donovan roughed his hair in frustration, he just finished checking everywhere for Danica but couldn’t find her anywhere.
“Did she leave for work already?” he asked no one in particular.
Just when Laura entered, she narrowed her gaze seeing how restless he was
“Donovan, is there a problem?” she asked calmly, she dropped her handbag on the couch, staring at his face
”Did you by chance see Danica when you were coming? Her car is here but she’s not,” he said worriedly
“Em…. she left last night,” Laura replied
“Why should you worry about her? She knows what she did was wrong and good thing you put her in her place,” Anna said walking up to them
“Anna she’s still my wife…..”
“Wife that nearly killed me twice, Donovan I’m your cousin, your favorite and now you’re telling me that you’re worried about the same witch that tried to kill me? Donovan I could have been dead by now,” she said faking tears
He sighed, walking over to his home gym
“We already talked about this?” he said simply
“Donovan what if she’s cheating on you? Who knows she might be with another man while you dying with worry, I told you she was talking about a boy the other time at the restaurant, I told her that I was gonna tell you and she asked her friend to kill me just so she would shut me up,” she lied bluntly
“Anna not now,” Donovan mumbled
“You think I’m lying? Let’s see,” Anna walked way
An evil smirk lingered on her face as she remembered her perfect plan

Alex looked at the door before pushing it open, almost immediately a punch landed on her face and she fell face down, a hand dragged her up roughly before landing another punch on her face
She staggered back and the person punched her tummy this time
“Argh!!” she let out a painful scream, falling on the floor
The person dragged her up again and punched her tummy, blood came rushing out of her mouth
“Stop it, it’s me that you want so why are you hitting her?” Danica shouted, she was already in tears
Alex who is groaning on the floor gently looked up and her eyes landed on Danica who was tied against a chair, her hands by her both sides with a rope holding it, her legs weren’t let out
“Shut up Bîtch,” the guy snapped walking over to Danica, Getting lose he grabbed her hair roughly forcing her head to go back
“AHHH!!!” she winched in pain
Alex dragged herself up, she spite out blood from her mouth and cleaned her mouth with her thumb
“What do you want with me?” she asked going forward
“Everything,” Came another voice from the door
Both Danica and Alex looked in that direction to see Nathan coming toward them, Alex chuckled and shook her head
“Is this some kind of prank or a joke?” she asked, a blank look on her face
“Sit down,” Nathan said pointing at the chair
In front of the chair was a table with different docvments
Alex scoffed
“I don’t work for you so you don’t give orders,” she said, almost immediately a slap landed on her cheek
It came from a guy beside Nathan, one of his boys
Her face turned red, she looked at the guy while rubbing her left hand against her cheek
“Why not fight me, man and woman, if you’re man enough,” Alex pose, her both fist folded tightly
Nathan scoffed and shook his head
“You always amaze me and I would have loved to take your challenge but I have got something more important to do,” he said pointing at the files
“Fill In the missing space so she could sign it and after she has finished signing it I will then Füçk her senseless,” Nathan ordered pointing at the docvment
“One of my boys is in prison and I need your code to get him out, you’re a cop so it will be easy,” he added
“You not only stupid but you need to ask your mother if you were born or vomited, cos no child born by a woman will be as senseless as you’re,” Alex said to his face
One of his guys pointed a gun to her head instantly, Nathan raise his hand the guy lowered his hand
going closer to her he slapped her head across the face bursting her lips
Danica closed her eyes, she could feel the pain that came with the slap
“is that all you have got?” Alex laughed spitting out blood
Nathan raised a brow
“Come on baby, I like it rough don’t tell me that you’re a vegetable,” she added laughing at him
Nathan was surprised, what was he expecting? She’s a cop.
“There are many ways to kill a rat,” Nathan suddenly said and went over to Danica
Alex’s expression changed instantly
“What are you doing?” she asked in a panicked tone
“Watch this,” a loud thunderous slap landed on Danica’s face, as if that wasn’t enough another loud slap landed on her other cheek
Before she could know it a punch landed on her tummy
“Stop!!!!” Alex screamed, her eyes clouded with tears
Danica on the other hand couldn’t find her voice, she was in so much pain that sounds refused to come out of her mouth, her eyes went right inside as her stomach started burning like fire
Her mouth covered with blood
“Are you gonna do what I ask or not?” Nathan yelled, his dark angry eyes were something to talk about.
“I will do it, just don’t hit her again,” Alex said gently
“I thought as much,” Nathan scoffed
“You’re making a big mistake,” Alex mumbled, she fixed her fingers on the keyboard, typing the words needed.

“Don, did you order pizza when I’m here? You know I’m good at making a pizza,” Laura dropped the pizza box on the table
“I didn’t order anything,” he replied gently, pressing his phone
Anna came out of nowhere and took the pizza box, she opened it even before he could say a word
“What’s this,” she took out some docvments, she dropped the box back on the table going through the docvments
“A divorce paper, ownership control, business deal and… Donovan I said it, she’s a gold digger, look at this, she even signed it,” Anna handed the docvments over to him
Donovan and Laura exchanged glances
he took it and opened the first one and it was truly a divorce paper, dropping it by the side he opened another one and it was the information about his company VILLA VINEYARD
“ How did she know that he owns that company? Could she be a gold digger like Anna said?” he wondered and turned to the last one
“Ownership control,” he mumbled going through it
Every information on it says that he will have to sign the docvment which means he will lose everything he owned, he can choose to work in his company as an employee
“So he’s the owner of Villa vineyard? But how? So he is this rich and yet nobody knows about it?” Anna thought silently, grinning inwardly
Laura’s fixed her gaze on her
Donovan didn’t say a word, he didn’t even know what to think, how did they know that he owns Villa vineyard? Who leaks his identity? Do they also know that he owns three other companies aside from Villa vineyard?
The phone that came with the pizza started running and he picked it up instantly
“You have 5 minutes to sign those docvments or consider her dead?” Nathan’s voice came on
He recognizes it immediately
“Go Füçk yourself,” Donovan fired back, in his deep cold voice, his voice alone is enough to send shivers down your spine
Nathan chuckled
“You might wanna see this?” Nathan said and touching the screen of his phone
After a few moments, he sent him a video
Donovan’s jaw dropped at what he saw, Danica tied up inside a freezer
“Like what you see? You have 3 minutes before she ran out of Oxygen and welcome ice block… I mean human ice…..
