{A WEEK LATER* NEW ENERGY HOSPITAL}
Everything happened so fast and it’s already one week, Nathan is still in police custody facing kidnap, attempted murder, and assault in the first degree, he’s also assaulted a police officer so he is also facing the charges
Danica is handling the case herself so right now he is behind bars.
Alex has recovered from the fight, good thing she’s a trained cop so it didn’t affect her that much, she tried talking to Joy countless times but it was all to no avail

Donovan entered the VVIP ward and Danica who is laying on the bed quickly sat up with a smiling face, the smile vanished the same way it appeared when she saw who it was
She hissed and lay back on the bed, her hand on her face
“You seem to be disappointed, are you expecting someone else?” Donovan asked gently
She has been giving him attitude after the incident
“No,” she replied flatly and rolled her eyes
He took in a deep breath then slowly dropped the food flask in his hand on the bed stand
“I brought food…”
“Not hungry,” she cut in sharply
Donovan stared at her, he heard her on the phone saying that she was starving so why did she say that she was not hungry?
“But you just told someone on the phone that you’re starving?” he asked staring at her
She sat up and reached for the flask, she took it and dropped it next to her on the bed
“I will eat it later, thank you,” she replied and lay back
“Can you try it? Lemme know if you like it, I spent a lot of time making that and I tried to make it just the way you like it,” he said gently
She scoffed
“That’s very kind of you,” she replied and rolled her eyes
Just then David and Alex came in, Danica sat up immediately she saw them, a big smile on her face
“I can’t wait,” she said more like yelling and Alex passed the food flask to her
“hey bro,” David waved at Donovan walking in fully into
Donovan just watch as Danica devour the chicken wings hungrily, she was eating them so fast as if she hadn’t eaten in days
“But that is the same thing I gave her and she refused to eat it,” he thought silent
It wasn’t long before they engage in a conversation, they didn’t even notice him
“No, Alex can seduce anybody no matter who the person this, even if you’re a high priest she will seduce you in just 10 minutes if it’s not too much,” Danica shouted

“Don’t touch me, get away from me, don’t touch me!!!” George shouted at the doctors
He is standing on top of the hospital bed, a tray in his hand, two doctors tried to treat him but he refused
Just then his parents walked in
“George,” Mr. Phillip called going closer
“Don’t come any closer,” he shouted pointing the tray at him
“George son….”
“Even you, I don’t want to be touched, don’t you get it? Nobody should touch me,” he snapped angrily, pointing his weapon at them
“he’s going crazy,” one of the doctors said, staring at his parents
The other doctor nodded in approval
“If he keeps acting this way then we will be forced to take him to the psychiatric,” Another doctor added
His parents looked at each other
“Baby you need to take treatment for you to get better,” Mrs. Phillip said gently
She took a step forward, George held his head, slapping his hand on his head
“No… no… no… don’t touch me…. no ….. don’t … no,” he started shouting
“George,” his mother called
Mr. Phillip turned around and walked away, his wife went after him instantly
“Phillip, Where are you going?” she asked
He stopped in the hallway and looked back at her
“What does it look like? I asked for a son but you gave me the one I can’t even touch, I can’t even play with, I can’t even do a freaking thing with, is that a son?” he yelled at her face
He was so furious at George’s behavior
“What you planted is what I harvested, you deposited him and I withdraws him so stop making it look like it’s my fault. He’s not the only autistic kid in the world, you should act like a father for once…..”
“How?” he snapped cutting in
“he won’t even let anyone near him, I can’t even get close to someone you call my son, is he even mine?” he yelled at her
A slap landed on his cheek instantly, he was forced to hold his cheek
“How dare you,” Mrs. Philip snarled

{BACK IN THE WARD}
“George,” Alex called from the door
George who was holding a pipe looked at the door, he gently lowered his hand dropping it on the floor.
“AG,” he called and jumped down from the bed, his face brighten instantly
Alex stood right before him

She went closer and hugged him tightly

“You didn’t come to see me, it’s been a week since I was knocked down by a mad driver,” he complained, pulling away from the hug he looked at her face
“I missed you,” she said instead, pulling his head closer she hugged his head to her chest, her hands perfectly wrapped around him, she gently began stroking his hair
“How did you….” a doctor was still saying but was interrupted by Alex
“You wanted to inject him? Do it now,” Alex cut in and she nodded

Joy walked into the ward but stopped at the door immediately he saw Alex holding her brother’s hand, Alex also looked up, she dropped George’s hand, and stood
“Joy I was only…..”
“Out!” Joy said rudely
Alex stared at George before looking At Joy who is still staring at her
“Joy, I’m sorry, I tried but……”
“I said, GET OUT!!” Joy fired instantly, her lips quivering as she speaks
Alex nodded, walking over to the door, Joy moved out of the way for her to pass but she stopped staring at Joy, without saying a word she walked way

{EVENING~~ DONOVAN’S MANSION}
Donovan drank directly from the bottle of tequila, he can’t seem to figure out why Danica is acting strange
She won’t even talk to him, she won’t even Smile at him but she’s always happy whenever David is around, why is that?
“Oh my, you’re gonna get yourself killed with liquor,” Laura sat next to him
“You said your wife will be coming home today and it’s already 5:53 Pm, are you planning to get her back at night?” She asked
“Sh|t,” He cursed and took the bottle but Laura also hold it
“Drinking doesn’t solve a problem, and accident is real, I can’t afford to lose my job if you die, I don’t even have enough tears left in me,” Laura said, she took the bottle from him

Donovan parked at the lot and enlightened from his car, he opened the back door and brought out the bouquet he bought
A smile appeared on his face as he made his way into the hospital, ha haven’t taken up to Five steps when he saw David and Danixa laughing
They were walking side by side like a happy couple, Danica hit David’s arms and he laughed, he made to reach for her but she ran off
Filled with rage Donovan matches towards them, he balled his fist tightly gritting his teeth in as he approached them……
