The doctor didn’t get to finish his statement when Mrs Knight enter the room
She rushed to Alex hugging him to herself
“Are you okay now”
“Do you feel pain anywhere”
“Should I bring you some food”
“It is okay mom am fine,I should be asking about you,the doctor said you get into an accident, where is dad” Little Alex asked curiously
Mrs Knight burst into tears
“Your father is dead, they couldn’t rescue him” Mrs Knight said
The news was a shock to the sicked Alex,he began to breath heavily, soon he couldn’t breath very well, the doctor who saw this rushed to him
The doctor inject something into his body before facing Mrs Knight
“You’re not supposed to say something like that to a kid,especially when he just wake up from his surgery” The doctor said
“Wh@tëver” Mrs Knight said unconcern,this attitude of her shocked the doctor because Mrs Knight was not the type to speak like that
“Was she not crying the other time?”
” what could have happen?”
“Did she perhaps hit her head on the floor, maybe it affected her manners?”
The doctor thought staring at her
“Why are you staring at me” Mrs Knight said
“Nothing ma’am” the doctor responded

Alex was already discharge from the hospital a month ago,he was forced to accept the fact that his father was dead
Mrs Knight walked in with a girl almost around his age,oh this remind him of his wifey

A week after his father death she resumed going to office not caring that she just lost her husband
She didn’t even have a memory of their past or he don’t even understand
“Good day boy” Mrs Knight said
After that incident she didn’t even call him the names she normally called him
“So this is Nancy your donor, you’ve always want to know who your donor his right,so I kind of disturb the doctor so much that he had to give out information about your donor” Mrs Knight said
“Hi Nancy, thanks for giving me your kidney” Alex said happily,he has always want to know his donor
“Thank you mom”Alex said
” you’re welcome, so you have to sign this place,she said once you sign this paper then she would be very happy right?”Mrs Knight said looking at Nancy who nodded for confirmation
“What is in the paper” Alex asked since he didn’t understand what was written there, it was written in another language which he did not understand
“Oh, just a friend request letter”Mrs Knight said
” okay”Alex said
He was happy that Nancy gave him her kidney for free so it not bad to return the favour
His father always told him that he should always return people’s favour to them if he was given the opportunity
He took his stamp and stamp the paper, he look up to see Mrs Knight smiling weirdly at him
