His eyes filled with nothing but emotions, it was as if he was gonna broke down anytime soon
“Back off,” David pushed his chest back, raising his hand to punch his face but Danica stood in their middle
“You should go Don, stop this madness,” Danica said instantly

“She said you should leave,” David snapped angrily
Alex just stood and watch
Donovan looked at Danica then at David who had a huge smirk on his face, he took a few steps backward and turned around
He walked out, going straight into the police department
“Are you alright?” David held Danica’s hand
She stared at him and nodded gently, he proceed to hug her but she shifted back a little
“Detective I need you,” A middle aged man shouted walking over to them
Alex looked at him and nodded

Danica withdraw her hand from David and smile lightly
“I guess it will end here for today, some other time,” she said and he nodded
“See you in the evening,” David waved at her before walking away, smiling all the way
Alex followed the man in, Danica was coming from behind
“Captain,” she called gently and he looked at her
“Counselor your husband is our prob,” He said, now staring at Danica
“You’re kidding, right?” Danica asked, she didn’t want to believe it
“Look here,” he said pointing at the big screen
“His car cross this street at 7:01 Pm and the accident happened around 7:02, is it a coincidence? Cos I don’t see why his car will be parked at the crime scene,” He said
“His fingerprint was found on the body too,” Stabler added walking over to them
“And we linked it up with our serial killer, guess what? it was the same,” The captain added
They all turned to Danica who was silent
“Arrest him detective,” he added and Alex nodded
“Wait,” Danica suddenly shouted
Everyone looked at her
“I need every detail…..”
“The family of three was murdered three days ago and his fingerprint matches the one in their body,” Stabler added
“I said I will speak with my client first….”
“Counselor you speak for the city not…..”
“You’re in no position to tell me who to defend, I say I will speak to my client so give me till tomorrow,” Danica said harshly

“Counselor if he runs away….”
“He won’t, I will bring him to justice if he’s guilty but at the main time provide me with all the evidence,” Danica cut in sharply

She was silent so he moved closer, pulling her out of the way by her waist he jammed the door then pushed her against it

They were so close that she could feel his breath on hers, he has never had any effect on her so why the sudden change
“I’m really sorry,” he added staring directly into her eyes
“What about your virgin girl? My sister, what happened to her?” She asked calmly
“Screw her, It’s you that I want no one else,” He replied, his hand went to her cheeks and he started stroking her face

He walked back to the chair while Danica just stood there staring at him

Joy alighted from the plane with Rex holding hands, Brandon on the other hand saw them and smirked
“I will get the car,” Rex said, he released his hold on her walking away
Brandon saw that as an opportunity so he walked up to her
“Dr. Joy,” he called gently
She glared at him
“I’m impressed I must say, you broke the record,” he added, more like a gentleman
She scoffed
“Get ready to quit if not I will fire you,” she said to his face
Brandon frowned instantly
Rex waved at her and she smiled, she shoved Brandon out of the way
“Black witch,” Brandon muttered, gritting his teeth
“Over here dude,” Stabler called out to him
Brando dragged his luggage towards his car, He entered looking all pissed off, and Stabler frown
“What’s with the long face?” He asked staring at him
“It’s nothing,” he replied bluntly
“Seriously? I saw you talking with Joy, are you two good now? Does she know who you’re?” Stabler asked insanely

The case of Nathan started not long ago and the judge kept agreeing to everything Nathan’s lawyer said, she didn’t even give Danica the chance to talk
“Your honor my client is flight free, he has no criminal record…..”
“Objection your honor, Nathan is a threat to the people of Chicago,” Danica objected
“Overruled,” the judge declined her
“Your honor my client pleads not guilty and….”
“Objection”
“Overruled,” the judge said again
“Your honor we request that the defense counsel post bail,” Nathan’s lawyer added
“Objection your honor, your honor Nathan committed a heinous crime and…..”
“Overruled, bail post at 300,000 cash or bond,” the judge cut in again, shutting her up
“Your honor I must object, your ruling seems hypocritical,” Danica said instantly
Nathan smirked and shook his head
“I won’t go to jail, never!!” He thought within
“That’s enough, one more word out of you counselor and I will hold you in contempt,” the judge said with seriousness
“May I urge you to withdraw your ruling or you will force me to file a grievance,” Danica fires back, standing on her feet
“That’s it, counselor, you’re in contempt,” the judge hits the gravel once

A cop came forward, he held Danica’s arms and she forcefully took her hand from him, picking up her briefcase she walked out, the cop followed
