*****LA VERANDA RESTAURANT*****
Richmond ?
I walked into the restaurant and met my boss yelling at the other workers. I was confused at first but when they started throwing insult at me, I got more confused. One word got me and the word is ‘Thief’. I was shocked but still I walked to were they were all standing. She(the boss)turned and gave an eye blinding slap which almost knocked me to the ground
“How dare you Richmond? How could you do this? “. She yelled grabbing my collar with both hands
” Ma’am, if I tell you I understand what’s happening here then I’m telling lies”. I said trying to release my self from her grip
” I trusted you, I thought you were different. How could you steal from me?”. She asked angrily and I froze
” I took you as my son but all you could use to repay me is to steal from me”. She yelled
” Ma’am, I didn’t steal your money. I’ve never done a thing like this and I’ll never do it”. I said trying to defend myself
” Why don’t you say the truth because it’s really obvious you are the poorest here”. One of the workers said with an eye roll and I quickly went down on my knees
“Please you all should believe me, I didn’t do it. I swear on my late parents grave”. I pleaded with tears rolling down my cheek.
” I have nothing to say to you, the money was found in your bag you forgot or purposely left behind”. She said coldly
” Please believe me I didn’t do it. I’m innocent”. I pleaded in tears
” Now take and leave my restaurant this moment”. She said and threw a brown envelope at me
I picked it, opened it and I was shocked to see a sack letter which means my service is no longer needed here
“Eric, Sam, take him out of this restaurant and make sure he doesn’t step his foot into this restaurant or else you both are fired”. She yelled and walked away angrily
” Sam, Eric, please tell her I’m innocent. I don’t know anything about the money or how the money got to my bag which I forgot to take home due to the way things ended last night”. I said still in tears
” We know you didn’t do it but I think it’s best you leave when she is still not”. Sam said pulling me out of the restaurant
We got to the gate and he pushed me out roughly which made me fall hard on the ground. He threw my bag at me and left while Eric sighed and also walked in
I unhurriedly stood up and left the restaurant not minding the numerous eyes piercing my skin
I trekked home trying to process what just happened but still I couldn’t put them together
” How do I survive? Where do I get another job? Why are people this cruel? Why is my life like this? Why must I go through hell just to survive?”. I thought as I walked helplessly on the road

I got home and slumped on the couch. Different thought kept running through my head
My phone rang out loud and I brought it out of my pocket. I didn’t bother checking who the caller is, I just picked it and placed it on ear
?” Hello”. I said with an husky voice
?” Richmond, are you okay? Why is your voice like that?”. The caller asked
I quickly took the phone away from ear and when I discovered it’s Goldin, I cleared my throat placing it back
?”I’m fine,you don’t have to bother yourself”. I said trying all my best to sound good
?” But your voice……”
?” I’m fine, it’s just because I yelled to much before going for a delivery”. I cut in
?” Okay then but you can always tell me if you are not fine”. She said
?” Okay mum”. I replied
?” So how are you”. I asked
?” I’m perfectly fine. Is it possible for a driver to work as a personal maid?”. She asked and I chuckled
?” Nahh, I don’t think so”. I replied
?” That’s what I’m currently doing in my dumb boss house”. She complained and I sigh
?” Just calm down. I’m sorry you have to go through all this but if he is giving you hard time let me know so I can punch the hell out of him”. I said jokingly which made her chuckle
?” Don’t bother, the Goldin here got everything covered. He can’t mess with me and go scott free”. She said proudly and I chuckled
?” That’s my crazy Goldin. Don’t be a weakling but be respectful and obedient”. I said
?” Okay! Geez! Don’t do this but do that but I can’t assure you I’ll be obedient and respectful. Of course I do respect him but once he crosses his lane,then he is in a hot mess”. She said mumbling some words I didn’t hear
?” Just be careful”. I said
?”I’ll talk to you later. Bye”. She said and hanged up before I could reply
” She is crazy”. I said and shook my head
I walked into my room and crashed on my little bed

Trenchy ?
I jumped out of bed, I checked the time, it’s 11am. I have just an hour left before those jerks get here
I ran to the bathroom and ran out not quite long. I wore a blue shirt and blue short. I brushed my hair with my fingers and that gave me a bad boy look. I picked one of my phones and headphone before walked out of the room. I descended the stairs and went straight to the dinning table. The maids quickly served my breakfast which I devoured hungrily.
I stood up not quite long indicating I’m done eating. I walked to the sitting room and I sat down. I switched on the TV while I await those jerks I call friends
