Tatiana took in a deep breath and out, her hands shines white, and she resumes reading about Cheng’s birth.
“I knew it!! I knew the moment that you spoke, that you are Osvaldo. How could you kill your nephew and his wife!!” Malia shouted at him.
“He is about to take the throne from me Malia” Osvaldo said.
“The throne wasn’t yours in the first place, it belongs to Marcus”
“Do you think I will just step down from the throne without a fight? I have always wanted the throne for myself, and that’s why I always send herbs to Rina, which will enable her to lose her baby, but she didn’t lose her baby this time around” Osvaldo said.
“You are a monster Osvaldo!!! I am going to tell everyone how much of a wicked man you are!!!” Malia yells at him, and Osvaldo smirked.
“How are you going to do so, when you are locked up in here?” He asked.
“Don’t tell me you are going to keep me lock up forever?” Malia asked, looking at him.
“You already know I am the master mind behind the death of Marcus and his wife, and since I don’t want to kill you, you will remain locked up in here, because to everyone, they believe you are the mother of Cheng, and you died while giving birth to him”
“What about your daughter? What about her!!!” Malia shouted, with tears falling down her eyes.
“She has already been thrown away, and there’s nothing I can do about it” Osvaldo said, without a blink.
“Find my daughter!!! Give me back my daughter!!!” Malia yells, crying.
“The deal has already been done, and there’s no going back. The throne should remain in our bloodline, and since Cheng is not my son, I will just get rid of him, before he grows up and decides to take the throne from my son” Osvaldo said, leaving.
“You are a monster!!! Give me back my daughter!!!” Malia cries, trying to break free from the chains tied around her.

⟨ STILL ON CHENG’S BIRTH ≈ PALACE OF MAELSTROM ≈ A ROOM ⟩
Osvaldo entered the room and sees Vanya nursing baby Cheng.
“Is he finally asleep?” He asked, faking a smile, that appeared real to Vanya.
Vanya looked at Osvaldo and smiled.
“Yes he is. Cheng is so cute, he doesn’t take after you” She said smiling.
“Babies sometimes come on their own” Osvaldo said, secretly glaring at Cheng.
“You are right. Malia has always wanted to have her own baby, but too saddened, she couldn’t live to take care of her own child, and that’s why I will do my best in raising Cheng. I am going to shower him with all the love that I can give” Vanya said, smiling, but her smiled slowly disappeared.
“Don’t you find Marcus and Rina strange?” She asked.
“How?” Osvaldo asked.
“Marcus has always wanted to have a baby so he could take back the throne, and that his wife finally conceived, why did they have left Maelstrom without informing anyone? I talked the bodyguards and maids who were present when Rina gave birth, but they couldn’t give me a definite answer” Vanya said.
“Maybe he no longer wants the throne, and decided to settle down somewhere else” Osvaldo said.
“You think so?” She asked.
“That’s the only answer I can come up with Vanya” Osvaldo said, and Vanya sighed.
A maid came in and bowed her head to both Vanya and Osvaldo.
“Princess Narmada is awake now, and she needs your attention” The maid said.
Narmada was three months ago when Cheng was brought into the world.
“Go ahead and look after your daughter, I will take care of Cheng” Osvaldo sad, taking baby Cheng from her.
After Vanya left with the maid, Osvaldo threw baby Cheng to the bed.
“If I had known you were not my son, I won’t have kept you alive” Osvaldo said with so much hatred in his eyes.
“You are the rightful heir to the throne, and I can’t let you fulfill such destiny” He said, and took a pillow, pressing the pillow on Cheng’s face, so Cheng will run out of breath and die.
But no matter how hard he pressed the pillow on the little Cheng, he didn’t run out of breath. He was still sleeping peacefully.
“Why can’t you just die!!” Osvaldo yells at Cheng, frustratingly.

⟨ STILL ON CHENG’S BIRTH ≈ ISHA’S CAVE ⟩
“What do you mean I won’t be able to kill that little baby boy?” Osvaldo asked Isha.
“He is destiny to live for a very long time, and as such, he won’t die unti his 120 years old, he was blessed by the heavens to live for long” Isha said.
“I can’t let him take over the throne. He is not my son, and in order for anyone not to find out that I am not his father, he has to die. I want Waylon to take over the throne, not Cheng who was born with the king’s star” Osvaldo said.
“I have a way that will prevent Cheng from accessing the throne, or fulfilling his destiny of being Love by many, but you have to play the role of a good and supporting father to Cheng. If you support and love Cheng, no one will ever suspect that you have a hand in what will happen to him” Isha said.
“What will you do with him?”
“Possessing him with the powers of a Demon”
“Powers of a demon? That means Cheng is going to have dark magic?” Osvaldo asked.
“Yes, but I will always control him to do evil, and that will make a lot of people h@të him, and no one will want to have him as the king of Maelstrom” Isha said, and Osvaldo smiled.
“You are a genius Isha. Possess him with the powers of a demon, and make him suffer” Osvaldo said, smiling.
“For that to happen you will have to wait still he is thirteen years old” Isha said.
“Why thirteen years old?” He asked.
“He is still a baby, and might not understand what I am saying anytime I control him, and in order to invoke the demon inside Cheng’s body, I have to wake up the demon spirit that has been locked up for years” Isha said.
“I guess I should wait still he’s thirteen years ago, right?”
“Yes, and why doing so, make sure you shower him with lots of love so no one will suspect you, make them believe he’s your favorite, and you kind of want him to be king, by doing so, no one will ever find you suspicious” Isha said and Osvaldo nodded his head.
Tatiana opened her eyes after she has seen the person she wants to see.
She looked at Cheng who was still sleeping, and tears falls down her eyes, she badly wanted to kiss his lips, but knowing the outcome if she does, she withdraws from kissing him.
“Don’t worry Cheng, now that I know the people behind your predicament, I am going to stop them and set you free. I hope you be be happy when I no longer exist” Tatiana said, and leaves the room, and after she left, Cheng opened his eyes.
“What happened to me? I thought Tiana was here earlier, so where did she go?” Cheng mumbled to himself, wearing a sullen face.

⟨ THE KING’S CHAMBER ⟩
“What brings you here Tatiana?” Osvaldo asked, Tatiana held the hems of her kimono, before smiling at him
“I just want to check up on you” She said faking a smile.
“Why?”
“I don’t see anything wrong if I check on my father-in-law, right? I am Cheng’s betrothed” She said.
“Oh that’s right, I heard you are distancing yourself from Cheng, is everything ok?” He asked, and Tatiana faked a smile.
“Yes. I just need sometime alone, but I will be in his arms soon”
“Alright. Have you noticed anything about yourself?” He asked.
“Anything like what?” Tatiana asked, pretending not to have any idea what Osvaldo was asking. She knew he was trying to ask if she has regained her powers.
“I don’t know Tatiana, just anything that’s not of the usual” He said.
“No, your Majesty” She said and Osvaldo nodded his head.
“I will take my leave now” She said turning her back to leave, and she could feel Osvaldo, h@tëfully looking at her.
*Enjoy while it still last Osvaldo, because in no time, I am going to let everyone know what kind of a man you are, and in doing so, I am going to need Malia’s help” Tatiana said inwardly, before leaving the king’s chamber.
