“Concentrate dummy” Eric received a kick to the face that brought him back to reality.
He looked back at the person then continued fighting..
In the end, Eric won. Sophia won Nora, Connor won Romeo, and the girl won Gideon.
“Alright, now I know which one of you guys needs some serious handling” Travis said.
“Get some 15 mins rest before we continue. ” He said and walked away.
Connor sat down heavily on the ground.
“Men, you’re a tough guy” Connor said, looking at Romeo…
“But you’re stronger than me” Romeo smiled and threw a bottle of water at him.
Gideon walked towards them with his hands in his pockets.
“Oh, look at him. A girl won over you” Romeo began laughing.
“Dude, do you expect me to raise my hand on a girl? I’ll never do that so it’s better I let her win” Gideon shrugged.
“Lisa, I heard you fought with the princess. How was it?” Romeo asked Lisa who was sitting next to him.
“Pfft… She’s just a show off” Lisa frowned.
“But she beat you and all that without using her powers” Gideon laughed but just one glare from Lisa was enough to shut him up.
“Thought her power is her scarf?” Eric asked, walking towards them.
“No, not at all… She’s…powerless” Gideon said and whispered the last word.
“Powerless?? What is she doing here then??” Lisa asked, surprised by how someone who’s powerless could beat her so easily…
“Come on, sit down, let me tell you a story” Sophia said.
They all sat down round her. Connor couldn’t help but stare at her for it’s his first time seeing her and she is kinda cute…
“Okay, so once upon a time there was a goddess. Her name is Dahlia, she was so powerful and was the only one that could control the five elements of nature and that wasn’t all her powers, she was the Queen of all supernatural…She gave birth to a girl and named her Kaitlyn. The legend says that Kaitlyn was born powerless and on the day of her 19th birthday, she will be crowned as the next Queen and that’s when all her powers will be revealed. Short she’s the only hope we have in order to defeat the vampires and demons” Sophia narrated..
“Wow, so that girl is kinda a goddess” Eric asked, remembering the look he gave her.
“Yeah…. Omg, can’t wait for her 19th birthday. Want to be among those who’ll see her powers manifest… Can’t wait!!!” Sophia squealed till she almost fell but luckily she caught Connor’s arm.
“Sorry” She smiled and released him and faced the front….
Connor looked at his arm and then at Sophia before looking in front.
“How old is she right now?” Eric asked.
“18 and will turn 19 in eight months time” Sophia replied…
Lisa looked at where she was seated then smirked…
“I love training with strong people. Think you’ll do just perfectly” She smirked.
Romeo looked at the look on Lisa’s face then leaned towards Eric.
“Hey bro, is she always like that” He whispered.
“Yeah, always hot headed” Eric smiled.
“Wow. She can make a very good villain” Romeo said.
Lisa snapped her eyes towards Romeo.
“Who said that?” She asked.
Romeo lifted his hands up with a smile on his face.
“It’s me, what are you gonna do?” He smirked.
Lisa pounced on him but he dodged it and then pinned her on the ground. Lisa struggled to get out of his grip but he was too strong.
“Let me go” She glared at him.
“You can act like a maniac with others but not with me.” Romeo winked and released her.
“You two will make a great couple” Nora winked at them and they began laughing at the look on Lisa’s face.

Ximena’s restaurant, 02:23pm**
“Kadence, where’s Zara?” Ximena asked.
“I don’t know, maybe she went to read” Kadence answered while bringing the pizza out of the oven.
She placed it on a plate and smiled while looking at it then took it to one of their customers.
“Here’s your order” She placed the plate in front of the man.
“Thanks” The man smiled while looking at her lustfully…
Kadence wasn’t feeling comfortable with the way he was looking at her so turned to leave but he caught her hand.
“Miss how much?” He asked.
“Huh?” Kadence ached her brow.
“How much for a one night stand?” He said, licking his lips…
Kadence snatched her hand from him…
“Aren’t you ashamed of yourself? Look, you’re old enough to be my father. Can’t control that little toothpick you have in between your legs? I’m not a whore you shameless old pig. In fact, get out of this restaurant” Kadence yelled, pointing at the exit.
“Is this how you treat a customer? You-”
“I said get out of here!!” Kadence picked up a knife from the table.
That made him run out of the restaurant.
“You’ll pay for this humiliation, I guarantee you that” He said inwardly and went…
“What’s happening here?” Ximena asked while coming to her.
“Nothing mom, just an old fool who wanted me to sleep with him” Kadence said, trying to calm down her anger.
That’s the problem with Kadence. She hardly gets angry but when she does, oh God!…
Ximena patted her hair…
“Good girl” She smiled and went back in…
“Yeah, and then I told him no you can only see but you can’t touch”
“Wow girl, you’re so bad”
Those were the conversation Zara had with her friends while walking in the restaurant with her books in her hands..
“Mom, I’m back” Zara smiled and pushed Kadence out of the way.
Ximena looked up and frowned…
“Zara what’s all this? Look at the way you’re dressed. You’re half naked!” Ximena scolded her.
“Mom, I’m no longer a kid. I can dress how I want” Zara said and rolled her eyes.
“So long as you’re living in my house that’s not gonna happen, now go wear something decent” Ximena said
“But mom-”
“Zara, don’t get me angry” Ximena said.
Zara frowned and marched out of the restaurant, heading home. Her friends followed behind…
“She’s really something else” Kadence thought while looking at the direction she took.
“You can leave now, Kadence, the work is almost done” Ximena said.
Kadence nodded and removed the apron then kept it before walking home.
“Time to read the book I brought home” She thought and brought out the book then laid down on the bed.
“Demons and goddesses controversy” She read the title out loud and then opened the book.
“Hundreds of thousands of years ago, humans were living with supernatural beings who possessed all sorts of powers. Ranging from the changelings right up to the demons and goddesses. There was a certain enmity between all the different creatures in the world. They attacked and killed each other with no mercy at all and all that to the expense of humans. The humans were caught in between their fighting and they were dying in their numbers. But….all that stopped when a powerful baby was born. The baby grew up to become a very powerful person with so many powers that we can’t imagine. She became a goddess to the supernatural. With a beauty that can’t be comparable. She succeeded in bringing all the supernatural together making peace to reign but two creatures were against the idea. The demons and vampires…”
Kadence closed the book and looked at the cover with a suspicious gaze.
“Who’s the author of this book?” She asked herself but saw no name written on the book.
“Weird….” She muttered and stood up from her bed then kept back the book on a small shelf beside her bed.
She picked up her towel and walked out of the room heading to the towel.

Once she was done singing and having her bath, she walked out of the bathroom heading back to her room.
She rubbed her oil and then put on her night wear then laid down on bed. She brought out her books then began reading.

Diamond High, 08:00am**
The classes have already started and the students, whether human or non human are all in their classes studying.
Sophia could be seen running towards her classroom while tying her hair. She woke up really late only to see that Lisa already left for classes.
She made to walk into her classroom but bumped into someone which almost made her fall but luckily the person caught her before she could fall.
“Connor” She said as she saw his face.
“Hey, you’re late for classes” Connor released her.
“Same as you” Sophia giggled.
Connor opened the door and they walked.
“Oh, look at those two. Acting like you own the school” An arrogant looking woman who was in her mid age snapped when they entered.
“Sorry ma’am” Connor said and smiled.

The girls gushed all over Connor.
“Go and sit down and this is the last time” The woman said.
“Okay, thanks ma’am” Sophia said and they bowed then went to their seats.
Connor sat down beside a guy.
“Hey, I’m Miles and you” The guy waved.
Connor looked at him. He didn’t see him during training so he must be a human.
“Connor” He smiled.
He brought out his books then faced the front, concentrating in class.
