“Omg!!! I passed!!” Kadence screamed and jumped in excitement.
“What’s happening here?” Ximena asked while coming to her. Zara followed behind.
“I passed mom, I passed!!” She jumped happily.
“Give me my results” Zara snatched it from her then opened it and smiled.
“I passed too. Well it was but normal of me” Zara said with pride glaring on her face.
“Wow, I’m so happy for you two” Ximena hugged them both.
“It says here that we are to begin school on Monday, that is next two days” Kadence read out.
“That gives us much time to spend as a family then” Ximena said.
“Yeah…” Zara said rather unwillingly.

MONDAY•
“You two behave yourself okay?” Ximena said.
“Yes mom” Kadence and Zara chorused.
“Oh, before I forget I have something for you two.” Ximena brought out two packets and handed them to Kadence and Zara.
They tore it and a gasp escaped their lips. It was two brand new phones…
“Mom, you shouldn’t have. I’m sure it must super expensive” Kadence exclaimed.
“Well I have to do so. You need that in order to communicate with me” Ximena smiled.
“Thanks so much mom” Zara hugged her tightly. Kadence hugged her too…
The bus driver honked, signaling it was time to leave.
“You two behave okay” Ximena said and caressed their hair.
“Sure mom” Zara smiled.
They hugged her one last time before leaving for the bus. They boarded the bus and then waved at Ximena as the bus drove off.
“Here the story begins….” Ximena thought and sighed before walking away.
“I want to make it clear to you. As we’re heading to school, we don’t know each other. Don’t even talk to me…Get it??” Zara said and scoffed then began admiring her phone.
Kadence looked at her and shrugged. Not like they were even on good terms.
She looked down at her phone and then switched it on. She smiled as she saw Ximena’s number was already in it.
She began exploring the phone, trying to understand it more better. Kadence looked up searching for Emma.
A smile formed on her lips when she saw Emma at the front, waving at her. She waved back too and looked down at her phone.
TWO HOURS LATER**
“Hey idiot wake up” Zara tapped Kadence. She mumbled some inaudible words before opening her eyes.
“We’re here” Zara said and got down the bus.
Kadence carried her things and then got down the bus too. She smiled as she looked at the building.
“Welcome to Diamond High. Please follow me” A lady said with a smile on her lips.
Kadence and Zara followed while Emma went another way.
“Here are the keys to your room. Each room is entitled to three students and there’s a limit for each hostel. Do not, I repeat do not trespass the limit” The lady said while walking in front.
“But why??” Kadence wondered as she was handed her room key.
“You may leave your room now. There’s a general assembly by 5pm. Make sure you’re there to attend it.” The lady said.
The people there all dispersed, heading to their respective rooms. Kadence began walking away heading to her room.
She walked for about 20 mins before seeing the number written on her key on the door.
She slightly opened it and peeped in.
“Hello, can I come in?” She said.
“Its the new student from the scholarship exam. Please do come in… Omg, you’re so cute and I love your hair. So long” A girl said she was seated in front of a mirror, brushing her hair.
“Thanks” Kadence smiled.
She looked at the other one and she was laying on the bed with earpiece on. From her boyish looks, one could tell that she’s a tomboy.
“Hey Quinn. Won’t you say hello to our new roommate?” The girl said.
The other one laying down opened her eyes and looked at Kadence then closed it back.
“I will only say hi only if she has some snacks with her” She mumbled.
The other girl, face slapped herself…
“Don’t mind her, that’s how she is. I’m Pamela and that’s Quinn” She smiled.
“I’m Kadence” Kadence smiled.
“Cool. There’s your bed, your wardrobe and your towel.” Pamela pointed while naming them.
“Thanks” Kadence smiled and walked to her bed. She began fixing her things in the wardrobe and it barely took her 20mins. Her things aren’t that much anyways.

Zara stopped in front of her room and looked up at it. She then pushed it open and walked in.
Two arrogant looking girls looked at her. One was painting her nails while the other was fixing her makeup.
“Eww why did they allow peasants to stay with us?” She said, crumbling her face like Zara was smelling.
Zara rolled her eyes and went to an empty bed then sat down and began arranging her things.
“Hey we’re talking to you Bîtch” The one doing her makeup said.
Zara looked at them sideways.
“Sorry, I don’t talk to whores” She said and continued arranging her things.
The girl gasped.
“What did you just call me?”
Zara sighed and rolled her eyes.
“Not only are you a whore but you’re deaf” She spatted and crossed her hands under her chest.
The one who was painting her nails smiled and looked up at Zara.
“I like you. You’re fierce and bold. What’s your name?” She asked.
“Zara”
“I’m Nancy and that’s Maya. I think we’ll get along pretty well” Nancy smiled.
“Hope so” Zara replied, turning to them…

*Oh my goodness! She’s back, I missed her!
*Why did she quit Diamond High by the way?
*I don’t know but still she looks more pretty and hot!!
Emma reached at the front of her room and opened it then walked in.
“Hello, anyone here?” She said but got no response so she entered with her bags.
She walked to an empty bed and sat down, removing her shoes.
“Who gave you the permission to enter?” Jody spoke, coming out of the bathroom.
Emma looked up at her and smirked. Jody frowned instantly…
“Jody, Jody… Did you miss me?” Emma smiled
“You…Why are you back?” Jody spatted.
“I’m not here because I wanted to. I’m here because someone wanted to come here and her wish is my command so just f*vk off and let me be” Emma said walking to her wardrobe but Jody caught her forearm before she could walk pass her
“On the count of three and if you still have those skeletal hands on me, I’ll break it” Emma said coldly.
“3, 2…1”
“Just so you know, I’m not afraid of you or anything as such….”
Before she could finish her speech, Emma held her hand and twisted it to the back.
“And I’m no longer scared of you too. Those days you were bullying me are over and I’m sick and tired of you Ava bullying people around. Now if you mess with me and most especially Kadence. Yes, remember that name Kadence. Don’t mess with her or else…”
She paused and lifted her hand to Jody’s face then flames came out of it before disappearing.
She released Jody and walked out of the room. Jody held her hand as she glared at the door Emma left. Her arm hurts really bad, she twisted it so much…
“d@mn you w*tch. You’ll regret it” Jody cursed…

Kadence got dressed into another clean gown. She smiled as she saw her school uniform. It was just brought to her and she loves it. Her locker room keys were given to her together with her books, sport wear, pullover…everything. Cool right?
Kadence glanced at the time and it was still 3pm, not yet time for the meeting.
“I’m going to stroll. See you later girls” Kadence waved and walked out of the room.
She began walking along the hallway. She could see a library with some students in it. She also walked past different classes. Classes ended by 2pm so the classes were empty. Some were in the lunchroom eating and chatting merrily.
*Holy molly!!. Look at that ravaging beauty
*Jeez, she’s so beautiful with no makeup on. Is she a new student
*She must be. I would have noticed this beauty. I’m sure she must be figure 8 if not for the gown she’s wearing.
Kadence looked at them and frowned. They winked at her when she looked their way.
“Perverts…” She mumbled
Before she could look front, she bumped into someone making her rest her head on his chest. From the feel, she could tell it was a guy.
“Are you blind? Didn’t you see me?” The person spoke. The guy’s hood removed in the process
Everyone who was there all gasped…
Kadence looked up to see the person’s face.
