Detective Keith sat in his office tapping his index finger on the table as he stared at the name he wrote down
He picked up his phone and dialed Penn’s number which he picked at the third ring
“Hello Penn”. He said smiling
“Good afternoon detective”. Penn replied
“Your dad escaped”. He said and Penn gasped and the next thing he heard was a shattering sound
“Come again. I didn’t get that”. Penn replied while Detective Keith rubbed his chin
“Your dad escaped…..”
“Fake dad”. Penn corrected and he nod
“Your fake dad escaped two nights ago. I’m assuring you that we will find him wherever he is”. Detective Keith said and Penn gasped
“What do you mean escaped? He was confirmed dead right? How come he escaped?”. Penn asked hurriedly
“We still don’t how that happened but I got a clue. I found this strange guy pacing up and down in front of his cell directly from the footage”. He said and Penn scoffed
“Anything about him?”. Penn asked curiously
“The name on the tag he wore is Rodeo and I feel he should be among his men because we have no one who bears name here”. He said and Penn breathe out in relief
“This is bullSh|t!! You need to get him and kill him immediately. He doesn’t deserve to live”. Penn thundered and hanged up immediately while Detective Keith dropped his phone on the table thinking of what to do
Officer Kan knocked on his opened door before walking in
“Sir, the relatives of the murderer are here to see her”. He informed and he stood up immediately walking out of his office
He got to where they were seated waiting for him. They stood up immediately they saw him and he bow slightly
“Good day sir, we are here for Birdie Langley”. Carl said and he nod
“I’m aware. This way please”. He said pointing ahead of him while he led the way with them trailing behind him
They got to a room and he pointed at the chair. They sat on it while he bow before leaving the room
She was brought in roughly few minutes after they sat while her mum burst into another round of tears. She was pulled to the chair roughly while she placed her hands on the table separating her from them
“What have I done to deserve this? I tried my best to raise you. I did my best as a mother”. She said in tears while Carl consoled her
“I guess your best wasn’t enough. You weren’t there when I needed you”. Birdie snapped hitting her hands on the table while he mother looked up
“How? In what way did I not do my best? I need response!!!”. She yelled while Carl held her hands
“You just didn’t do you best. You did half and left the rest fro dad to do. He doesn’t even take good care of me. All he does is to shower me gifts and fulfill my promises!!!”. She screamed while Carl took it from there
“As far as I’m concerned, she did her best. She did what almost all the mothers can’t do. She cherished you so much because she went through pains while giving birth to you. You were the one who brought out her womb leaving her barren and she ensure she train you well which she did”
“You have nothing to say concerning that because she has done more than what other mothers can’t do. You decide to stick to dad when he started buying you things and you never like she is your mother. Yet she tried gaining your attention but you were already blinded by greed and thirst for fancy things”
“Look at how you dragged our name into the dust all because of lust, obsession, jealousy. You really disgraced this family and the shame you placed in this family is everlasting. I’m promising you today that I won’t get you a good Lawyer to judge this case”
“I’ll make sure you learn your lesson the hard way and not the other way round”. He said and stood up. He also helped him mum up from the chair
“Carl! Carl! Mum! Mum!”. She yelled but they left already as she broke down in tears while the office came in and dragged her out of the room roughly ignoring her screams.

*****ROCKY’S WARD(WARD 1)*****
Resse and Reggie sat on the bed watching him speak to the pillow
“Stop hurting yourself because of fear”. Resse said and he flinched looking at the both of them
“How long have you both been here?”. He asked holding the pillow tight
“Long enough to see you assuming this as Channel”. Reggie said pointing at the pillow while Rocky groaned
“That’s not true. I wasn’t even talking to it. Just playing with it and I’m serious”. Rocky replied looking elsewhere while Reggie chuckled
“You still haven’t made up your mind?”. Resse asked and he sighed looking at the pillow
“I’ll see her when she wakes up”. He replied and Resse groaned
“It’s so disgusting and annoying to work as a love coach. I’m tired of the both of you”. He said placing his hand on his forehead
“Where is Ryatt?”. He asked and Reggie smiled
“He is the one representing us for the vote tonight so he should be with Shade”. Reggie said and he nod
“You should be the one she sees first before any other person. Prove your love to her by staying by her side all day and all night”. Reggie added and Resse coughed immediately he said that while Rocky got the clue
“Confess to your crush before talking to me about love”. Rocky said and one of his phones dinged
He checked the message and discovered it’s an unknown number. He exchanged glance with Resse and Reggie before taking his eyes back to the message
“Expect me soon. This time around will be so bloody and fun. The time is ticking. Tick! Tick! Tick!”. He read it out loud scaring the hell out of Resse
Penn’s call came in immediately and he picked it without wasting time
“Rusty is not dead. Take them away from the hospital tonight. Your house is safe for now but ensure no bug is on her. He might strike at anytime and the hospital isn’t far from his penthouse. I’ll see you tomorrow”. He said and hanged up while Rocky spranged up immediately running out of the ward
He barged into the doctor’s office shocking the hell out of him as he wondered what made him run in like that
“Mr Zode, you are not strong enough to……..”
“Prepare the van. We are moving them tonight”. Rocky said hurriedly and walked out of his office and bumped into Resse and Reggie who ran after him immediately he left his ward
“Why the heck did you do that?”. Reggie whisper yelled while Rocky brought out his phone putting a call through Shade
He informed him and told him what to do. He also informed Ash about it while awaiting the van.
