Seven o’clock in the evening.

A knock came at the door, Raymond rushed to the door, he opened the door it was a maid.. what do you want he asked staring at her….
I’m sorry to disturb you sir, I just wanted to let you know that the dinner is ready she said, bowing her head slowly.
Alright I’ll be right there he replied, she left he walked back to the room, who was that Jennifer asked stretching her neck to see the person….
It’s a maid, the food is ready he said with a smile, they went downstairs to the dinning, he helped her with the sit, she smiled, he was also seated, the maid dished out the meal.
They started eating, though Jennifer couldn’t finish her meal as she excused herself.
She walked to the restroom, soon she came out, with smile written all over her pretty face..
She sat down, but couldn’t continue eating her food, you’re not eating Raymond asked surprisedly….
I think am okay she replied, he dropped the cutleries, is there any problem he asked worriedly.
No! No problem at all she replied with a smile.
So what did you go to do in the restroom he asked staring at her.
Raymond, table manners, don’t talk when eating she said.
He nods his head, slowly….

After eating, they headed to their room together.
Some minutes later,she excused herself, she entered the bathroom.
He lay down on the bed waiting for his dear wifey, but she hasn’t come out yet, he seated on the bed waiting for her.
“What the hell is keeping her” he thought.
He couldn’t hold it anymore walked towards the bathroom, he opened the door of the bathroom, only to see his wife laying on the bathroom floor.
He rushed to her, Jenny, Jenny,Jenny, he called but got no response.
Jennifer please wake up he said but she didn’t respond to him.
Jennifer please talk to me, if this is a prank please stop it, because it’s not funny he said, no response.
He carried her out of the bathroom, he lay her on the bed, quickly change her clothes.
He collected his car keys, please Jenny stay with me he said.
His driver got into the car, he drove off, Jenny please talk to me, what will I tell your mom and your brother and my mom that I saw you laying on the bathroom floor, please don’t do this to me, I love you so much Jennifer….
Soon they arrived at the hospital,
No Ryan I saw her laying on the floor he said, don’t worry she will be fine Ryan said.

Some minutes later, the doctor did the check up on her, please tell Mr Raymond that I want to see him Ryan said.
Okay doctor the nurse replied she left his office, coming out of the doctor’s office she saw the young man walking up and down.
Mr Raymond the doctor wants to see you she said with a smile…
Alright thanks replied, soon he arrived at his office, the doctor smiled at him.
Ryan please be serious for once, why you smiling huh he said.
Calm down man, it’s a good news he said with a smile.
What do you mean Ryan Raymond asked, flabbergasted.
Your wife is pregnant he said smiling.
You mean am going to be a father he replied smiling….
He nods in reply to his question.
Oh my goodness, can I see her now he asked.
Yeah sure, here’s the results of the test, congratulations once again, please take care of her and make sure she eats healthy food and please don’t let her stress herself.
She needs your love now he said smiling.
Alright I’ll do everything you said, thank you doc he said with a smile, he walked out of his office…….

He sat down on the chair, staring at his beautiful wife he can’t to break the news to her, she’s pregnant.
He stood up and walk closer to her, she was still laying on the hospital bed.
He touched her face slightly, and then pecked her lips, she opened her eyes slowly she tried getting up from the bed, but Raymond stopped her.
You don’t have to, you need rest now he said with a smile.
Where’re mine she asked looking around the Ward.
You’re in the hospital, you fainted in the bathroom he said looking at her.
No this can’t be, I want to go home she said.
Babe what’s up with you, you need rest he said looking at wife and her sudden behavior.
I will rest when I get home she said, soon the door open revealing a doctor.
No, Raymond tell him not to come closer to me she said, he was looking at his wife, what the hell is wrong with you he asked.

But…..but he has injection on his hand she said, look at me it’s your imagination.
He doesn’t have any injection, and he’s name is Ryan he is my friend Raymond said.
Okay, I’m sorry I was just scared i……. You are scared of injections he said cutting her off.
No I’m not scared of that she replied, she doesn’t want him to know that she’s scared of injections.

Hello doctor Jennifer replied.
How you feeling now, he asked, I’m fine just want to leave this place she replied.
You will soon he replied with a smile, alright buddy take care of her he added, leaving both couples.
Raymond smiled at her, you look so beautiful and so special babe he said smiling.
She blushed, Raymond I’m sorry about the way I acted here in the hospital she said.
It’s okay, I’m not angry infact I’m so happy very verrrrrrryy happy he said smiling.
She smiled at him……..
