Nathaniel drank his coffee, before heading down stairs.
His secretary just called that someone so important wanted to see him.
He climbed down the stairs and his eyes caught a woman, she was sitted in the couch and her back was facing him.
She turn and he was shock to see her.
He Staggered back the woman right in front of him was claimed dead, she was dead and now why’s she here.
Is she perhaps a ghost? Or she came to hunt him down.
He didn’t knew the answer to that.
“M.. Mom.. ” he called in total shock. Unbelievably shock was written all over his face.

“Leave me you brat!. ” Jasmine said as she struggle to free herself from Xavier hold.
“We’ll be getting married today, whether you like it or not. ” Xavier said.
“Never in this life time. ” Jasmine spat out.
“Who do you think want to save you,, your dad is out and Nathaniel won’t come either,, so there’s no one to save you,, today you’ll be my bride, you’ll be getting married to me. ” He said mischievously.
“You can’t do this to me Xavier, please let me go. “She cried out but he pushed her inside the car, and drove off.

” Mom are you really the one or I’m seeing your ghost?. “He asked.
” It’s me son, don’t be afraid and come give mama a hug. “Esmeralda said.
” But they claim you were dead, that said you’re dead,how come are you here?. “Nathaniel asked.

She was interrupted when Austin barge in, he didn’t notice Esmeralda presence.
He went to Nathaniel and give him a hot slap.
“So you kidnapped my daughter, huh? Where’s she?” Austin asked.
“Dad what do you mean?. ” Nathaniel asked.
“Jasmine has gone missing, since you’re the one who kidnapped her,I brought the cops to arrest you. ” Austin said.
And some cops came inside

The police officer cut himself off when he noticed her.

That was when Austin notice Esmeralda.
Esmeralda tried to run, but she was caught by another cop.
” You’re under arrest for murderer. “The cops said and both Austin and Nathaniel eyes grew wide open.
” What do you mean inspector?. “Nathaniel asked.
“She murdered someone, she put a strong sedative into the person drink,, that sedative makes someone think of committing murdered. ” The cops said.
“I don’t still understand you. ” Nathaniel said.
“Let her explain herself. ” The cops said.
And a ball of tears fell down from her eyes.
“Austin Unfortunately Nathaniel isn’t your son. ” Esmeralda said and both their eyes grew wider.
“What do you mean by that? Mom explains better coz I’m nervous. ”
” i got pregnant for a billionaire because he was rich and back then you were still poor. I saw a person that change my life into a princess, all my thought was that you have nothing to offer me, so I slept with him and got pregnant for him, everything change when the billionaire asked me to leave you that he wanted to marry me, I thought of different idea but none was working.. Mira came down from her car, she wanted to buy gift for her daughter, it’s her birthday today.
She made to entered the mall, when someone bumped into her.
The person ID fell and Mira picked it looking at the name.
It was Esmeralda Smith, and that surname is surely her husband name
She looked up only to see Esmeralda, Esmeralda quickly dragged her ID away from her.
She has surely seen it before, but where.
” Next time if you bumped into someone and if anything fall down don’t bother to pick it up. “Esmeralda said.
” Wait.. You. “She said when she finally remembered her, she has seen her picture and the ID says it all. and Esmeralda halted on her step.
” Aren’t you Esmeralda Smith?. “She asked and Esmeralda eyes open..
” Thought they said you were dead?. “Mira asked, she remembered how Austin claims that she was dead
“Shhh, lower your voice. ” Esmeralda quickly said.
“How can I, you’re not dead, you’re alive,, I think I need to tell Austin. ” Mira muttered.
“No you can’t, keep it hidden for now. ” Esmeralda said.
“But I don’t hide anything from him. ” Mira pouted.
“Okay fine I will tell him myself, when the right times comes” Esmeralda said.
“You sure? . “Mira asked.
“Yes.”
“Why don’t we go to that coffee shop?. ” Esmeralda asked and she looked at her wrist watch.
“Sure!. ” They said.
They order two cups of coffee and Esmeralda purposely slipped her coffee in Mira shirt.
“Oh no!!. ” Esmeralda gasped.
“I’m sorry. ” She said.
“It’s fine. ” Mira said.
“Why don’t you go and wash your stain clothes in the bathroom?. ” Esmeralda asked
“Sure.”Mira said and walked to the bathroom.
While Esmeralda took the chance to pour the sedative in her coffee.
” You wanted to tell Austin about me, let see how you will tell him “She thought.
Mira came and she asked Mira to drink the coffee, which she did.
They walked out of the building and bid each other good bye.
STILL ON FLASHBACK≈NIGHT
Mira came outside from the bathroom, she was in her house.
Her head was spinning,she held her head and grabbed her phone to call Jasmine.
Today is her birthday, and yet she isn’t back to celebrate it with them.
Instead she was with Xavier.
She called Jasmine telling her to come back home.
She sat on the bed When Austin came inside.
She thought of telling him, but she snapped out from it.
” I’m feeling so sleepy, if Jasmine come back,wake me. “Mira said to Austin.
” Sure darling. “He said and kissed her forehead.
NEXT MORNING.
Mira woke up when her phone beeped it was a video from an unknown number.
She looked at it and she brimmed out tears.
It was a video of Austin and Esmeralda, when they were still together.
They were Füçking hard,the tears in her eyes makes the video more blurry in her eyes.
Making her not to see the video clearly.
Maybe if she should have listen to Austin pleading she would have not been dead.
Maybe if she should have watch the video correctly, maybe she would still be alive.
But no, everything just has to took place so faster.
But her anger took over her,at that time the sedative started rising, she was seeing different thing, just then she climbed the window and then an unexpected breeze blew threw the window,, making her fall.
FLASHBACK END.
” So you killed her, why cause she find out about you!!. “Austin yelled.
” Not only that I send the cops a video of how you pushed her, you know how technology work. “Esmeralda said.
“What!! Did I do anything wrong to offend you?. ” Austin asked.
“If I can’t have a better life so you’re.” Esmeralda whispered.
” Mom, I can’t believe you did all this,, you acted like you we’re dead,and I missed you mom, I know how I felt without you by my side,others parents showed up in different type of party but mine never showed up, but i’m not angry because of that, i’m more angry because you killed aunt Mira cause of your own selfish reasons,you made jasmine suffer, I h@të you and I regret ever seeing you today. “Nathaniel muttered.
“Dad Jasmine!!. ” He said and ran out from the mansion.
“Austin please I’m sorry,I was carried away by hatred,by jealousy and I wanted to live my life like a princess,that was why I had to cheat on you,please forgive me. ” Esmeralda pleaded.
“Take her away cops. ” he said also and run with Nathaniel.

“Priest be fast in reading the book!. ” Xavier said to the priest.
Jasmine is currently unconscious.
“You guys can now stand up to recite the vow. ” The priest said and Xavier stood up and also carry Jasmine in his hand.
“But why’s your bride as sleep, she suppose to be reciting the vow with you?. ” The priest asked.
“I’m in a hurry to marry her, and she’s also in a hurry to marry me,, but I don’t know why she’s sleeping, please let quickly recite the vow, coz her family will be here so soon,, and you know what priest her family don’t approve our relationship they think we don’t deserve to be together,, but we love each other. ” Xavier said faking tears.
“Oh okay. ” The priest said.
“I will recite both the vows, so you don’t have to worry. ” Xavier muttered.
The vow later got recited.
“You may now get seated!. ” The priest said.
“Now tie this wedding chain around her neck after that you two can now be proclaim married. ” The priest inform.
And Xavier nod before taking the wedding chain from a bowl.
He was about tying the wedding chain when a hand held his,flinging the wedding chain, to only God knows where.
Xavier looked up and gasped in shock.
“Nathaniel!!!. ” He stuttered but a heavy punched landed on his face.
“How could you?. ” Nathaniel asked and punched him harder, Xavier staggered, he wanted to run away when another punched landed in him.
Nathaniel kick his middle and he groaned.
Nathaniel remembered how he kept punching him, he was the one who made him let go of Jasmine hand.
Without thinking twice he kept throwing Xavier heavy punches on his face.
And the fact that he wanted to get married to Jasmine without her permission.. Make him punched him the more.
“Nathaniel stop. ” The police officer tried to stop him, but he didn’t let go, he kept threwing punches at him.
His hand was bleeding mercilessly coz of the punched and Xavier was bleeding more.
The cops finally separate them.
“You’re under arrest for trying to get married to her without her permission. ” The cops muttered and Xavier spat out blood.
His eyes finally caught Joyce, she was standing in the other side of the temple.
“What! Joyce, you betrayed me?. ” Xavier asked, and Joyce walked towards Xavier, giving him a hard slapped on his face.
“I h@të you Xavier, I really h@të you, I cursed the first day that I saw you, you think I wouldn’t find out that you’re the one who killed my unborn child.. He didn’t even get the chance to come into this earth,, you didn’t even let me feel his touch,, yes you don’t wanna be a father, but I wanted to be a mother, I could have been a father and a mother to my child, but you killed him. ” Joyce said crying.
He wanted to move closer to her and give her a hard slapped, but he couldn’t coz of the cops that held him.
“Was that why you had to inform Nathaniel that I was here getting married to Jasmine?. ” he asked.
“I can’t let a beast get married to her,, yes I knew that I offend her but you’re beast a monster, a kind creature like her, can’t get married to a beast like you. ” Joyce muttered.
“Officer you can now take him!. “Joyce said and they dragged him away.
” Thanks for saving her!. “Nathaniel said, and she sniffed.
” If not for you maybe Jasmine would have been married to him. “Nathaniel said.
” It’s okay, I just had to do what I did. “Joyce muttered.
” I guess my work here is done, I think I should just leave. “Joyce added.
” Wait, you should at least wait for Jasmine to wake up”.Nathaniel said.
“Are you sure?. ” Joyce asked.
“Forget about what you did to her!why don’t you asked for her forgiveness, maybe she might forgive you. ” Nathaniel whispered.
“Sure.”Joyce said.

Jasmine opened her eyes, and it caught Nathaniel.
He was busy with his laptop.
” I hope I’m not Hallucinating things again?. “Jasmine asked herself.
“You’re not. “Nathaniel finally said.
” Oh wait, it is you Nathaniel?. “She asked and he giggles.
He climbed on the bed and she immediately hug him.
” I miss you so very much.. Jasmine said, and he smiled.
He hug her back, before kissing her forehead.
“But wait, why I’m here, did father knows that I’m here. ” She asked.
“Yes, in fact he has approved of our relationship, I have lot of things to tell you. “Nathaniel said.
” He approaved of us, really, even when he clearly knows that we’re related. “Jasmine said.
” That’s because we’re not truly related,, your dad wasn’t the one who gave birth to me. “Nathaniel said.
” What!!. “Jasmine gasped in awe.
” Yes that’s the truth, we’re no longer step sister or step brother, I’m now your boyfriend. “Nathaniel Said.
” Oh my,, this’s unbelievably. “Jasmine said.
“You said you have a lotta things to tell me, that’s just the first thing. ” Jasmine said.
“Xavier got arrested coz he tried to get married to you, and Joyce also claims that he killed her unborn baby.”Nathaniel muttered.
” Joyce… Pregnant?. “Jasmine asked in shock.
” Yeah she was once pregnant but Xavier gave her a pill which affected her baby,her baby didn’t survive. “Nathaniel said.
” And you need to thank her, coz she was the one who saved you from Xavier wrath. “Nathaniel added.
” Is she here?. “Jasmine asked.
” To asked for your forgiveness,I hope you would forgive her. Nathaniel said.
“Is that all? . “She asked.
” Were you expecting more?. “He asked.
“It’s just that… ” she was currently shut with a kiss, he kissed her.
How could he tell her that he was his mother who killed her mom, Mira, she would be hurt, so that phrase is for another day!. “He thought.
” What’re you thinking?. “Jasmine asked.
” I wanna ripped you off this dress you’re wearing,so badly. “He said.
