CHAPTER 60
ARIANA
I was shocked as Tyler pressed his lips on mine.
I felt as if my stomach was going to burst anytime soon.
His lips pressed against mine were so soft and I closed my eyes as I kissed him back.
It felt so good but when I remembered I was getting engaged to Mason I pushed him away.
“You can’t do that Tyler I’m getting engaged”.
“Fuçk that Arianna, if you were getting engaged you wouldn’t have kissed me back”.
He was right, but why did I kiss him?
“Arianna I love you ”
Hearing that my eyes grew wider.
“Huh”
“I love you Arianna, I don’t know I started feeling it but I confirmed it when I h@tëd seeing you hurt because of Mason.
I can’t hide it anymore Arianna, I love you. I Fuçking do and it hurts to see you getting engaged.
I don’t want you to get engaged to Mason.”
I looked at Tyler shocked by his outburst.
I had this feeling of excitement building inside of me when I heard he loves me but I pushed it away.
“I’m getting engaged Tyler” that came out as a whisper.
“I don’t care , I know deep down you don’t want this marriage thing but you keep trying to convince yourself you love Mason.
I know you don’t feel the same way for me but I know you don’t love Mason at least that’s one thing I’m sure about “.
“Let’s just pretend this didn’t happen ”
I could see the hurt on his face but he quickly smiled sadly.
“Ariana I love you and I’ll always will but if you want me to pretend as if this didn’t happen then I’ll do it if that’s what makes you happy “.
I don’t know why I felt a sharp pain in my chest. My heart was saying the opposite of what I wanted but my mind kept reminding me that I was getting engaged to Mason and I love him.
“If it’s Mason you actually love then I’ll find a way to get rid of this feeling”.
He smiled painfully and it broke my heart seeing Tyler like this.
Then he turned around leaving me staring at his back.
I didn’t even know that I was crying like a big baby.
I watched him until he was out of sight.
I entered my car as I banged the steering out of frustration.
I don’t know what I was feeling but all I knew was that my heart was hurting pretty bad.
I drove home feeling exhausted.
I was grateful that my parents weren’t home . I just locked myself in my room not bothering to take my bath as I changed into my white night dress.
I laid on my bed as I took my phone strolling through my pictures until I found one of me and Tyler.
Tyler took me to the zoo because that day he wanted to cheer me up because I was upset because Mason hurt my feelings.
He had always been there for me but I never once considered his feelings.
The green flag was there but I failed to know because I was so caught up with my own situation not bothering asking how he felt.
I was selfish, maybe Tyler was right.
A dead person is better than me , all my life it has always been about me.
Now I hurt Tyler’s feelings and it’s like someone stepping on my heart smashing it until it turns into a powder form.
I sighed as I dropped my phone , I tried to sleep but all that was in my head was Tyler hurt face.

NATASHA
It’s been two weeks since I and Derick started dating but I felt empty.
This is all I wanted but I wasn’t happy. My mind has always been thinking of Oliver.
Sometimes I wasn’t listening again to what Derick was saying because I was so lost thinking about Oliver.
“Natasha”
“Natasha”.
Until Derick shaked me gently, that’s when I was back to earth.
“You were saying”
“Natasha, are you happy?” Derrick asked out of the blue.
“Yes, why”
“I know you are always thinking about him Natasha ”
I just looked at my fingers avoiding Derick glare.
“I know you love him Natasha”
I looked at Derick “no it’s just…I..it’s…
“You don’t need to lie to me Natasha “.
“Aren’t you angry “.
“Of course I am but I kind of deserve it too. I think I’m paying for the way I treated you all those years.”
“Love isn’t something you force and it saddens me but your happiness comes first”.
“I love you, but loving someone means you want them to be happy so If Oliver makes you happy I think you should go with your heart”.
Now I was already in tears as I listened to Derick.
He stood up from his seat and wiped away my tears smiling.
“You’re hurting me crying Nally”.
I hugged him tight as I kissed him for the last time .
It was a goodbye kiss.
I quickly rushed out as I took a taxi home.
Immediately I entered the sitting room. I was looking for Oliver.
But I saw him in the kitchen.
“Oliver” I called but he just ignored me, not even looking at me.
He walked upstairs as I followed him.
Before he could enter his room I held him.
“Oliver, I love you,” I said.
But to my shock he removed his hand harshly from my hold before entering his room and slapping the door on my face.
I sighed “this is going to take a while”.

AVERY
I tried so many times to talk myself out of not crying but I just couldn’t.
I miss him so much, I Fuçking do. It hurts me that Mason is even hurt than me.
I can’t just sit here and do nothing. I have to see him.
After so many pleas for Westley to give me Mason’s house address he finally did.
I took a taxi there, not bothering if it was already late.
Now I was standing outside a huge mansion feeling nervous.
I walked to the gate and pressed a button I saw.
Minutes later a man came into view.
“Can I help you, Miss?”
“I’m looking for Mason Freeman”.
“Do you have an appointment with him?”
“No”
“Please go home miss”
“Please sir just tell him it’s Avery and if he doesn’t come out I’ll leave please”.
He stared at me for a while before nodding his head.
I can’t believe I came all the way to see Mason.
Love is crazy but you cannot blame me.
I’m never letting you go again Mason, I don’t care what your parents do.
You made me fall in love with you and now I’m crazy about you.
