“Make me!” Avalon dared him.
“Whoa!” The students gasped,and immediately, Tempest’s head caught fire again,and his eyes began to blaze with fire too.

“Unfreeze her!” Tempest said yet again,but his voice was completely a different one this time.
The normal deep voice he has,was deeper and it sounded so scary,freaking the other students out.
“Oh,oh….move away,everyone. This is fire and ice,it’s not going to be funny” Ioanna said,and stepped away immediately.
Funny part was,the Masters weren’t saying anything,they only stood and were watching what was going to happen.
They want to see what the students are capable of,after all.
“You’re gon’ have to make me do that” Avalon dared him again.
She curved her body,and hands,posing well and ready to fight.
The rest of the other students moved away,instantaneously. Except for frozen Emma.
No one can actually unfreeze her,but only Avalon herself can undo it.
Maybe the Masters can,and others more powerful than she is.
Tempest made a fireball and fired it at her,but she put out the fire immediately with ice before it got to her.
She made hers,a snow ball and aimed at him,which got him.
“Argh!” He screamed,Immediately it touched his body and made a quenching sound,like a bowl of water was poured into fire to put it out.
It literally hurt him.
Tempest grew angrier and his body was now on fire too,making the rest of the students to widen their eyes
“Is no one going to stop them already?” Rickett gesticulated.
“Out of my view!” Illekktra half yelled at Bluey who was obstructing her view. She sat comfortably and crossed her legs,enjoying the movie before her.
“You deserve to be slåpped with water,I swear” Bluey said,and Illekktra burst out laughing,enjoying herself.
Tempest didn’t make a fireball this time,but released out fire,and aimed at Avalon with force,getting her real good too.
Avalon fell on her butt,and her back hit the wall badly as the fire burned her too.
“Ahhh!” She groaned out and managed to get up.
And immediately she did,she dragged her right leg on the floor,then stumped it on the same floor,making ice from her side to Tempest’s.
Tempest slipped on the ice and fell,hurting himself again and the same quenching sound could be heard.
“Ahhhhhh!!” He groaned out in pains too,as the ice mixed with fire and it was very hurting.
Fire and ice are not friends,they say.
Tempest got up again,and began to throw fireballs senselessly,not minding if anyone else was going to get hurt.
That’s how angry and uncontrollable he can get.
The whole Sanctuary was rented with fireballs and snow balls.
Once Tempest fires at Avalon,she puts the fire out,then sends hers to Tempest.
Tempest threw another fireball at her,and she didn’t know when she caught it with her hand.
“Ahhhh,my arm!” She screamed in pain,as the fire mixed with her icy hand and burned her real bad.
She held her hurting hand,and tried to fire another snow ball at Tempest who was burning with anger,but Tempest marched the ground with his left foot.
The moment he did that,a trail of fire was made and was rashly burning to where Avalon was,with the intention of probably burning her.
“Enough!” Master Zack commanded before the fire got to Avalon,and immediately,Tempest dragged his foot to the back,and the fire vanished,with him getting back to his normal self.
And Avalon unfroze Emma immediately too.
Emma was almost falling when Illekktra quickly grabbed.
“Aww,is it over already?” Illekktra pouted.
“Can’t believe he did all that for a girl he barely knows” Alcaeus chuckled shortly.
“Beats me” Rickett replied with a chuckle too.
“He’s in love” Illekktra spoke again,giggling.
“Just shut it and stop being annoying” Ioanna shot at her,but she giggled more.
“She’s such a big baby” Bluey said too and they chuckled.
Illekktra actually looks younger than all of them. A very jovial, friendly and crazy girl.
“Those two are dangerous,especially Tempest. But their powers are good” Master Aerith stated with a little smile.
“There’s something about him,but I really can’t tell right now” Master Shirlene spoke,seriously.
“I can sense that,too” Master Levi said too and the others turned to look at them both.
“What do you both mean?” Master Zack asked.
“I don’t know,I can only feel it. We’ll figure that out with time” Master Shirlene answered.
The Masters began to walk out,and the students followed afterwards.
“Eye of our ancestors. Let’s be roommates,I want to know when any girl will break my heart before hand” Rickett turned to Calix and said funnily,making Alcaeus to laugh as they walk out of the Sanctuary.
“You’re crazy,out of my way” Calix said, and pushed Rickett out of the way.
“I’ll take that as a yes” Rickett said,and followed Calix up, immediately.

“Why did you choose to play with fire? Look now your arm is hurting.
Why did you even freeze her,that wasn’t necessary,yunno” Astrid reprimanded seriously at Avalon.
“I never knew I had a big sister here who could scold me anyhow” Avalon hissed and rolled eyes at Astrid who scoffed.
“That girl should get ready for my troubles that she has just ordered for. What is a Mortal girl even doing here in the first place?” She asked,still holding her burned hand.
It’s not so bad though.
“Beats me. I was more than shocked when Calix said she isn’t an immortal. I bet the Masters know what they are doing and I can’t wait to see where this leads to.” Astrid said.
Avalon just scoffed.

“Are you alright?” Tempest walked to where Emma,Illekktra,Ioanna and Bluey were,and asked Emma who was still not herself yet.
“Yeah. I’m fine,thanks” She replied shortly.
Tempest nodded and left without saying anything else.
“His powers are so cool!” Illekktra gushed and the rest,except Emma,looked at her,then laughed afterwards.
“Let’s be roommates….wait,I don’t even know your name” Illekktra faced Emma and said.
“Room what? You think I’m here to stay? Jeez! Someone should just pour some water on me,so I can wake up from this nightmare” Emma said,scattering her hair crazily.
“Is she alright? I think she’s crazy” Illekktra curved her mouth and whispered to Ioanna’s ear,but Emma heard her surprisingly.
“I am not crazy,okay? You all are the ones crazy,just get me out of here,please!!” Emma lamented in frustration.
She palmed her face,and left the Sanctuary,not really sure of where she’s going to.
“I am so confused here,and don’t understand what is wrong with her” Ioanna said,with a frown.
“You remember Calix said she’s not an immortal?” Bluey asked.
“That’s what I am confused about. What’s she doing here if she isn’t an immortal?” Ioanna asked,gesticulating.
“Leave that for now,please. I think she needs a little comfort,she might tell us what happened later when she’s calm” Illekktra said,and they all nodded.

“You are her best friend,Diane. How can you say you don’t know where she is?” Mrs Edswald spoke out in a loud tone.
She is on a call with Diane,Emma’s friend.
She’s been looking for Emma since she got back home,but Emma hasn’t returned from school yet.
She knows Emma is a very stubborn girl who doesn’t listen to anyone,but one thing she’s sure of is that,Emma has never decided to not come home after school,even when she’s màd at them.
The only thing she’d do is,come back,then lock herself in the room and never want to talk to anyone.
But it’s almost night now,and her daughter is nowhere to be found.
Her phone is not even reachable!
Could it be that she has been kidnapped or what?
“I seriously do not know what is going on,ma. I can remember Emma and bade each other goodbye before going home.
I even called her before I got home,I couldn’t reach her.
I really don’t know what is going on” Frustrated Diane explained herself.
Megan dropped the call immediately and threw her phone away. She began to pace around,with many thoughts running through her mind.
Megan is her name.
Did she finally decide to stay away from home now over the little fight they had earlier today or what?
She thought,but shrugged it off immediately.
Emma would never do that,no matter how angry she was with them.
Though they are carefree parents,but right now she’s very worried about her daughter.
She was still pacing around when her husband came in.
He noticed her worriedness the moment he got in.
“Is anything the matter?” He asked,dropping his bag.
“Emma isn’t home yet,and I have no idea where she is” She told her husband who didn’t look so shocked.
“Is that why you are worried? She’s not a kid,yunno. She’s probably at her friend’s place or somewhere else having fun” He said and sat down,unbothered about what his wife just told him.
“I called Diane and she says Emma isn’t at her place. The last time she saw Emma was at school when they bade each other goodbye.
I have called her many times,but I’ve not been able to reach her,and neither has Diane.
This is unlike her,what if she has been kidnapped or something?” Megan said,tapping her foot on the ground,repeatedly.
Mr. Edswald got off his seat momentarily,with curved brows in utter confusion.
“You…you think she’s kidnapped?” He asked like a child who doesn’t understand anything going on around him.

Emma can be seen at a very far end of the school,away from everyone.
She’s sitting on the bare ground,leaning her back on the tree near her,as she got herself deep in thought.
Never has she ever imagined getting herself in this kind of situation. How she ended up here is what she still doesn’t understand.
And it seems she cannot go back to where she came from.
“This is a dream,definitely. How can I be in the immortal world,just how. What am I here for exactly? What do they need me for?
“d@mn it,just f*ck it!! This dream is taking too long,I need to wake up from it…just let me go!!
What do I do now,I need to go home!” She scratched her head,contemplating on what to do.
In as much as she wants to explore this place,she also doesn’t want to.
She wants to go back home where she belong.
She doesn’t belong here.
This place is beautiful,it looks like a Paradise,no doubts.
But she can’t stay here,it’s dangerous for her.
Just how many minutes ago that she got frozen by arrogant Avalon.
That alone is a clear sign that she doesn’t belong here.
Worse still,she’s got no powers to fight back.
Did that fox woman or lady bring her here,just to watch her dìe for no reason or what?
She was there when Avalon froze her and she couldn’t do anything.
It sucks so much that no one is giving any answers to her questions.
Everything is just getting more complicated and it’s driving her insane.
It just feels like she’s trapped in her own dream with no way out.
“Where is that fox woman,I need answers to my questions. I need to go back home,Mom and Dad must be worried about…
“Tch! Like they even care” She paused and said.
She got off the ground,dusted her clothes and took the first step,on the second one,she felt a strong wind heading to her direction.
Her eyes when it got closer to her. She tried to run away,but….
“Ahhh!” She screamed and fell.
