A YEAR LATER..
It was in the afternoon when Tamara was sitting quietly outside with the cool breeze piercing into her skin pores cooling her body
She suddenly felt pains and she stood when her water broke
“Mother it’s coming! It’s coming!!!” Tamara shouted as she stood in the middle of the yard
Sabrina put the clean cloths on the mat and ran out to help Tamara get in the house,she had already prepared everything since she knew how to interpret pregnant women and when they give birth and she knew it was going to be today or tomorrow,what was surprising was that it didn’t take Tamara nine months to give birth but a full year
“Just breathe,in with your nose and out with your mouth” Sabrina instructed while holding Tamara as they went into the house and she nodded and did as instructed
Sabrina took her into the room and made her lie down and spread her legs
She placed a wet cloth on Tamara’s forehead to cool down her temperature and covered her waist downwards with a bigger cloth
“Child, I’m going to need you to breathe and push with all your might okay? One,two and three push!!!” Sabrina shouted while glancing from Tamara’s face and in between her legs
Tamara screamed and pushed but the pain was unbearable that she cried while holding the mat tight
It went on and on for hours but it seemed like the baby wasn’t ready to come out

THE PALACE;8PM**
A cold harsh breeze blew the curtains as it whooshed into the windows
The front doors opened and a figure of a woman stepped in barefooted,her dress was long and pure while and slipped on the floor as she walked,she walked slowly towards the stairs and each time she stepped on a stair it made a creaky sound
Her long shiny hair flew to the side as she passed the open windows,as the guards approached the strange woman they felt cold shivers and suddenly froze on their spots unable to move
She walked past them to the king’s chamber and when she walked in she went to the first queen’s side
The king stirred up and opened his eyes kids,he turned to his wife and met the shock of his life,a strange woman was cutting his wife’s tummy and dragged a baby out with his little foot
The little baby cried out loud that it woke Hailey up and she let out an ear piercing scream when she saw what was in front of her
The king jerked up from his sleep sweating profusely,he turned to his side and found Hailey sweating too,he tried to touch her but she was too hot like he put his hand on a stove
“H..Hailey?” he called and moved back as she acted up like she was having a seizure
Hailey opened her eyes and they were bloodshot and she cried in agony
“Help..Help me please! Ahhhhh!” she screamed out as every bone in her body snapped and cracked and the king heard them clearly
He fell off the bed while moving back and ran out for help,he was about to tell the guards but the same was happening to them and he ran out
As soon as he stepped out he was shocked to see all his people at the gate begging to be let in,some carried unconscious children in their arms while shouting for help
Lightning striked each one of them and the others ran but the lightning caught up with them and striked at one go causing them to collapse
King Austin shook in fear and peed his pants in the process
“Great gods what is happening!!! If it’s a dream please wake me up!!!” he cried out but it seemed to get worse as the wind got harsh
The gates managed to open and some ran inside but they got striked before they reached where the king stood
The king was about to run away when lightning striked him too,he saw his life flash before his eyes before everything went pitch black
He regained his consciousness after a while and heard screams of his people near and far,he lifted his head and watched in horror unable to look away as their bones cracked and reformed and they turned into different animals
He was about to try and get up when he felt his bones crack and he yelped in pain as they reformed too and he turned into a beast
And that was it,that was how the once peaceful kingdom was changed forever,it was cursed,they were cursed by a scorned woman
A scroned woman burning in rage that no forgiveness can subside
A scorned woman who was looking for Vegeance for what was done to her
A scorned woman who was crying for help for being decieved and punished for the gift she had that was not approved by the society only in the name of inequality

PRESENT TIME
A young girl with maroon long curly hair reaching on her butt walked down the street of Heavenly Bervely town muching on a burger
Esmeralda Loureii,that was her full name and she was short and fit though her body seemed like that of an athlete with chubby cute cheeks
She never liked wearing girly stuff and currently she was wearing an oversized t-shirt and trackpants with sneakers
“Excuse me miss” a police officer walked up to her “Can I ask you a few questions?”
She looked at him for some moments before nodding slowly
“This happened last night” he pointed behind him and stepped away for her to see “Three men were killed,very brutally” he sighed “One was sliced in half and I’m sure you saw back there, there’s blood everywhere and the DNA shows two different matches meaning two men were killed—”
“No I didn’t actually,I was too engrossed in..” she waved her burger at him “But that’s awful…s..so how can I help?”
“We were told that you would pass here by one of the neighbours, apparently you come back home very late and leave early so it might happen that you saw something” he studied her
“M..Me? I can’t even hurt a—” she felt an insect on her neck and took it with her hand and threw it on the floor and stepped on it and when she realised what she just did she looked up at him “Fly?”
“Stepping on that insect shows that you can hurt a fly” he emphasised and narrowed his eyes at her and she chuckled nervously “By the way is there anything you might have seen or suspected on your way home last night? Anything suspicious?” he cleared his throat
“N..No I didn’t see anything sir, I’d like to get home it’s getting pretty late” she said softly
“Alright” he took out a card and gave it to her “My number,call me if you remember anything or find out anything”
“Okay” she took the card and shoved it into her pocket and left
She reached home after a while and when she unlocked the door she realised it was already unlocked
Her heart sank and she looked around and slowly got hold of the door knob and turned
She prayed inwardly as the door creaked and she pushed it open slowly and met her mother looking towards the door and she sighed in relief
“Mom!” she pushed the door close and rushed to embrace her mother
“Surprise!” her mom grinned and hugged her tight
“When did you arrive?” Esmeralda looked at her mom
“Not so long ago” her father spoke behind her and they both turned to look at him
He scanned her from bottom to top with judging eyes
“What are you wearing!? Is that how women are supposed to dress like!?” he scolded and she trembled
“Marvin—”
“Stay out of it woman!” He cut his wife off and glared daggers at Esmeralda
“But dad! I’m only twenty and I feel uncomfortable in dresses you know that!” she protested
“More reasons why you should wear them more often! To get used to them! A girl in your age should know how to behave like a good woman, you’re about to reach the point where you should get married” he said sternly
Mrs Loureii bit her lip wanting to defend her daughter but she was taught that a woman shouldn’t back chat her husband,she should support him at all times and respect his decisions
Esmeralda balled her fists feeling fed up
“Maybe I don’t want to get married or be the perfect daughter!” she snapped
Marvin shook in anger and walked closer to her
Mrs Loureii looked at her husband in fear wondering if he’d actually raise a hand at his daughter
“To your room,Now!” he lashed out at her and Esmeralda ran to her room “And change those clothes and look decent!!” he shouted behind her
“You didn’t have to—”
“No I had to, someone had to tell her! Why can’t she act more like a lady and just be like her sister!” He huffed and went to sit on the couch
Mrs Loureii sighed and wheeled herself to the window and looked outside

ENCHANTED KINGDOM**
The sound of shoes echoed in the hallway as a tall figure walked elegantly being followed by guards
They stopped at a door and a maid rushed to open the doors,her head was bent down all the time because they were instructed never to look at this man with an overbearing aura
She scurried away after opening the doors and he stepped in and the doors were pulled and closed by the guards as they stood outside
“Mother,excuse us” He spoke in a calm voice and Queen Hailey glared at him
They all looked younger as they were thousands of years ago
King Austin cleared his throat and stole glances at Queen Hailey and she huffed and stood up and went out
He slowly released a smirk and took a seat and stared at the king
“I want my mother to move into a Royal chamber, Hailey’s chamber to be specific” he said bluntly
“But my son—”
“My mother is sick,I want to take care of her myself,you want me to stay here as your son right? Isn’t it..father?” he smiled and leaned forward
“Caelan—”
“Hades, it’s Hades to you.. Austin” he glared at his father
“But where will she stay!?” He snapped
“In your dead wife’s chamber” he blurted out
“Watch your words! That’s my late wife you’re talking about!” he shouted
“The one who died because of you?”
“Fine! Tamara can take the room!” he said through greeted teeth and drank the red liquid that was in a cup in front of him
Hades stood up and smirked at his father before leaving
Hades,the heir and only son of the king and Tamara,a woman king Austin took advantage of and denied her thousands of years ago
A very complicated person who acted differently towards people depending on whom they’re but his love for his mother and great grandmother never changed
His hatred towards his father and his wife Hailey was obvious that the whole kingdom knew about it
He walked down the hall and winked at the maids and they blushed and stroked their hair that he laughed inwardly,he always toyed with them that they fell for it everytime
He reached his chambers and the guards pushed the doors of his room open and he walked in and they closed them afterwards
He met a lady dressed in a thong laying on his bed,she didn’t seem to be snug as a bug and her scent was different meaning she was not one of them
He realised from her scent that she was just an innocent human who must’ve been one of the poor kidnapped humans
“Why are you here?” he asked calmly
“To satisfying my master” she said with all the confidence she could muster
He chuckled and walked up to her
“Kneel,on the bed” he instructed and she quickly knelt on the bed
He tilted her head to the side and inhaled her scent,it was sweet but not very pleasing nor could it calm one’s nerves
His soft breath fanned her skin that it sent soft sensations to her,she felt wet an her çlit throbbed and she cursed inwardly for getting excited for one of these sick monsters
Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt an excruciating sharp pain on her neck
“Ahhhh!!” she let out an ear piercing scream when Hades sunk his fangs into her neck and sucked on her
Hades groaned and pulled her closer by her waist,she Mõ@ned in pain and soon it was mixed with pleasure as the pain subsided
After a while he pulled his fangs out and he licked the spot
The girl felt weak and fell on his arms and he gently laid her down
She stared at him with half closed eyes,he stared at her too for a while before walking away
“Tell them it’s done,cry if you have to…tell them I was too rough on you even though you begged because you’re still pure” he said
“W..Why didn’t you do it?” she asked softly
“Because I don’t want to turn out like my father” he thought to himself and turned to look at her
“I’m sorry” she quickly apologised
He nodded and took a blanket and went to cover her before walking out
The girl smiled to herself and it quickly changed when she though about all the bad things that were said about the prince and she wondered who was being real, the prince or the gossip mongers?

HB TOWN;IN THE EVENING
A knock on Esmeralda’s room woke her from her deep slumber
She groaned and went to open and her friend walked in
“Ohh my you’re a mess!” he blurted out his lips in disgust and walked in
“I don’t care!” she said grumpily and shut the door “Are they gone?” she turned to him
“Yup!” he threw himself on the bed and stared at her “Dried tears? Is it that bad?” he sat up
“Yeah” she sat next to him “My father doesn’t approve of anything I do, except my work… he’s all over my personal life,what I wear,how I behave and it’s unbearable!” she groaned
“If i had the energy and muscles I would’ve punched him already” He huffed
“You’re a man too” she eyed him
“Hey watch it!” he pushed her and she laughed “Being gay is not easy because we tend to get attracted to straight men do we use all our strength to look pretty and make them fall for us,plus my manicure please!” he whined
“Ohh my sweet Kenny!” she laughed harder and threw her arm over his shoulder
“I’m glad I made you laugh” he smiled at her
“Thank you” she smiled
“Now enough with the sob stories,tell me how did it go today?” he laid back and looked at her
“The workers of the facility didn’t even want to hear me out, I’m thinking of going back there tomorrow” she sighed
“Why do you badly want to work there? You’re brilliant scientist anyway you don’t need them!” he rolled his eyes
“It’s my dream Kenny! Plus they have all the equipment I need to make the best invention ever,having to do it all myself will take years, I’ll get old without achieving anything!” she looked at him
“Wh@tëver you say” he yawned
“Hey! Get off my bed and go home” she pushed him but he didn’t budge
“There’s no way I’m leaving this late whereas there’s a serial killer out there!” he protested
“And you know what happened last night? Apparently three men were killed and one of them was sliced in half with his organs and blood—”
“Ewww Don’t tell me anything!!! La La la!!!” he blocked his ears
Esmeralda bursted into laughed and laid next to him and they both exploded with laughter

*To be honest I’m going through some stuff right now that my mind just turn blank when I’m supposed to write, there’s a lot on my mind resulting in me having writer’s block 🥲, I’m sorry for taking so long to post you all, it’s not out of laziness I just have a lot on my mind that I can’t concentrate, please understand
