Cindy glared at him looking away; she wanted nothing to do with him. A smirk appeared on Chase’s face as he noticed her countenance. He took a step forward withdrawing his hand.
“WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!”
” CINDY REJECTED CHASE’S OFFER?”
” WHAT COULD BE GOING ON BETWEEN THEM?”
“I EVEN HEARD HE’LL BE HER SONGWRITER”
” Should I just leave? Are you sure you’ll be able to handle all of this pressure? You’ll probably be answering their questions from now till a week time” Chase said with a slight chuckle
Cindy cleared her throat scanning the faces of the curious reporters. She couldn’t help it but felt shivers down her spine; they were looking like they were going to devour her.
“I’m only accepting because I have no choice, don’t think of anything else” She said with gritted teeth moving closer to him. He ignored her and started walking into the agent, she followed suite with his guards behind them.

Valerie let out a gasp as she watched Thelma jump on the priest who just entered, hugging him tightly. She ran her hand through her hair frustratedly.
The priest struggled to free himself from Thelma’s grip and when he did, he wasted no time before pushing her to the ground causing her to land on her butt.
“That hurts” Thelma muttered with a slight groan.
“What the Füçk did you just do?” The priest questioned looking rather angry. Thelma just remained on the floor baffled by his anger, words and handsomeness.
“Did he just say Füçk?” One of the nuns muttered blinking her lashes rapidly, even Father Aaron was left out, he was equally surprised at the whole thing.
“Cat got your tongue?” The priest queried further, the frown on his face was deepening.
“Why are you being harsh? Huh? I just came to you for help and as a priest, you should be ready to help me but instead you started lashing out on me” Thelma retorted standing up to her feet.
“Sh|t! Why do I have to meet an insane person on my first day here?” The priest said to himself rather loudly. Thelma’s eyes bulged out in shock.
“Is this a bad sign Lord?” He said further raising his both hands to the ceiling while looking up.
“What!!?”
” His words are so profane” the nun muttered staring in bewilderment. The priest took his bag which he had earlier dropped and moved closer to Father Aaron. Everyone just watched him like a movie.
He did a cross sign looking serious as ever.
“I’m Father Michael, I was transferred from the Providence” He introduced himself
” He’s a priest!!?” Thelma said loudly
“You are welcome to Daham Cathedral” Father Aaron welcomed him with a smile
Valerie darted her eyes from Thelma to the priest and without saying a word, she moved closer to the exit dragging Thelma along with her.
“What are you doing Mom? I thought we came for deliverance? Why are we leaving this soon?” Thelma complained on their way out.
“We’ll shoe you to your room and I hope you make the best experience out of her stay here” Father Aaron said to the priest who just nodded without saying a word

Right from the entrance of the villa to the main door were guards all over the place, all on black suits. The villa was well lit and I’m a good shape.
In no time, cars started driving in, expensive and posh cars. A maximum of five cars stopped at the entrance of the villa. Some of the guards rushed to open the door and the guests cane out one after the other.
The first occupant of the car was Fabian Javer Kings, the owner of JK conglomerate. He adjusted his glasses before making his way into the villa.
The next up was Festus Anderson; the chief prosecutor of Daham city. He scanned the whole place quickly before also going in. The next person was Felix Blake. He is one of the popular congressman of Daham city.
Then, Finn cane down from his car while smoking his pipe dangerously. His countenance alone and the aura that followed his presence was to be feared. He wore a singlet exposing the numerous scars on his body.
Fabian, Festus, Felix and Finn gave the name the F4; and lastly the only woman in their midst, Jade Howells.

“I can’t keep up with this anymore” Festus was the first person to speak.
” I can’t keep covering his crimes, the people will started raising their brows and that will arouse suspicions. Just the night before, a total number of eight bodies were found at Incheon port and what did I do? As usual, sweep the case under a rug…..
“And you have to keep doing that” Fabian butted in.
“For how long?” Festus questioned
” As long as we are in this together and remember if anyone goes down, we all go down together” Fabian replied
” I’ve got good news for you all and that’s why I called for this meeting” Finn said with a sly smile playing on his lips.
“An operation can be carried out tomorrow, that means more cash for us” He added
” I’ll get ready then, how munch should we be expecting?”Jade asked
” A whopping sum of hundred billion” Finn answered making their eyes widened at the amount they heard.

“Where are you off to this early?” Valerie inquired standing akimbo as Thelma rushed down the stairs
“I have to be at the cathedral before going to work” Thelma answered hurriedly
” What!!? What….why do you have to he still the church?”
” To see the one who has captured my attention” Thelma responded only to receive a snack at the back of her head.
“Have you lost it? You are going to church just to see the priest? He is a priest for crying out loud, you both can’t be together because he had dedicated his entire life to God” Valerie tried explaining
” I know, he’s an irresistible priest. Did you hear his voice Mom? I almost lost my mind, I think….
“I think you need to go for a mental check up, you lost some nuts up there in your skull” Valerie cuts her off
” I’m running late Mom” Thelma announced ignoring Valerie’s tantrums. She wasted no time before rushing out of the apartment

Thelma senselessly stared at Father Michael as he preached on the pulpit. She fixated her gaze on him like he would disappear the moment she look away.
“I should charge him for being this handsome and messing with my heart” Thelma muttered. She was not even listening to the sermon but watching Father Micheal’s lip move.
Cindy shook her head watching Thelma’s act the whole time.
“You call this handsome? You haven’t seen Chase then, he’s way more handsome…..
Cindy paused on her words, covering her mouth with her hand as she realized what she just said. She narrowed her gaze at Thelma expecting her to retort but she didn’t making her heave in relief.
Thelma’s eyes suddenly widened and she turned to Cindy swiftly
“Did you just call Chase handsome? Is there something I’m missing out?” Thelma muttered raising a suspicious brow.
” I don’t get what you are….
“Hey!! Are you going to be this way now?” Thelma snapped. Just as she meant to talk again, a loud banging sound was heard from the pulpit area making everyone to flinch as it came suddenly
Everyone’s attention was on the pulpit and Father Micheal.
“The third row at the left, the old woman on white scarf get out!!” Father Michael commanded visibly angry. Everyone scanned the huge cathedral and their gazes all fell on Thelma.
She blinked her lashes rapidly, her hand subconsciously going to the scarf on her head. It was white.
“How dare you talk when the sermon is going on?you know what?Just get out!” He added in a surprisingly calm voice. The whole cathedral became silent as they all watched the scene in surprise. Even Father Aaron and the rest of the priest and nuns were not left out
Thelma let out a scoff
“Old woman?” She muttered under her breathe
