{ His Decision }
^^ MARTIN FAMILY HOME ^^
Vance stood still in shock starring at Tracy who
had her eyes trained on her father.
Everyone apart from Angela who found the
situation funny were all shocked.
“What did you just say?” Mr Martin asked as he
got out of his seat.
“You heard me dad. Am not straight, am a girl
who is in love with another girl and so it’s best
you acknowledge that about me now and
cancel the engagement with Reed!” Tracy yelled
and taking hold of Vance hand, she pulled him
up the stairs and into her room.
Tracy stood starring at a shock Sarah, she knew
that she had gone too far by saying those
things but it’s the only way she can think of, the
only way she can get Reed off her back for
good.
But first she has to convince Sarah to help
cause without her, she won’t be able to carry out
the plan.
“Sarah I…”
“Come with me” Vance cut her off as he took
hold of her hand.
“Where to?”
“To explain things to your father. You have to
tell him that what you said just now is all a lie”
Vance replied, hating that she involved in him
such a thing.
“I can’t do that” Tracy replied, pulling her hand
out of his.
“Why can’t you?”
“Cause it’s the only way for me to get Reed off
my back. It’s the only thing I can think of and so,
please help me” Tracy implored looking very
desperate.
Vance was about to give a reply when they
heard a knock on the door.
“Sarah, Mr Martin wants to see you” A maid said
from outside and immediately Tracy took hold
of his hand.
“Can’t you just go along with it? I don’t love
Reed and I don’t want to be with him”
“Why not tell that to Reed?” Vance said in return.
“Have tried. I did my best to make it clear to him
but he wouldn’t listen, he sees me as his and my
father is on his side, I can’t get out of this
unwanted engagement which is why I need you
to….”
“Am sorry but I can’t help you, it’s best you get
help from someone else” Vance said before
pulling his hand out of hers.

^^ STUDY ROOM ^^
“It’s not true. Tracy and I aren’t in a relationship
and am not a lesbian” Vance said now In mr
Martin study room.
“That’s a relief then. For a while, I really thought
it to be true since she kept refusing the
engagement” A relieved Mr Martin said.
“This is the reason why I need you to help. Reed
Is a good kid and am sure that if she gives him
a…”
“I can’t do it Mr Martin” Vance said as he push
his wig away from his face.
“You can’t do it?”
“I can’t be a cupid for Reed and Tracy. I can’t be
a cupid to two couples when have never been in
love myself” Vance said thinking about his sad
love life.
Vance had been so busy making a name for
himself that he never did a thing about his love
life.
It hadn’t been worth thinking about then but
thinking about it now made him realise that he’s
been missing out on a very important part of his
life.
“I will understand if you take back the
admission grant, you were only going to help if I
became their cupid and now that I…”
“I don’t intend to take back your admission
since I have another proposition to make to you”
Mr Martin spoke, interrupting him.
“Since being the cupid thing has failed, I need
you to watch my daughters most especially
Tracy” he said laying out the new proposal.
Some time later, Vance got out of the mansion
heading towards the garden to get some air.
Somehow, he felt bad for not helping Tracy but
if he did then he will lose his main focus which
is to find James killer.
He doesn’t have the time to meddle in Tracy and
Reed affair, he needs to catch the killer and free
himself from this God forsaken life.

^^ NEXT DAY ~ SCHOOL RESUMPTION ^^
Vance stood in front of the mirror starring at his
outfit.
He was putting on a white shirt coupled with a
knee length purple skirt.
He h@tës the fact that he has to return to school
in this disguise but he has no choice.
As soon as Angela saw him, she couldn’t stop
herself from laughing.
“This is crazy. You really should have been born
a girl cause you….look so girlish ” Angela choke
out in between laughter.
“I know that already , you don’t have to tell me.
Where’s Tracy and Elsa? Aren’t they coming
with us?”
“Elsa left early, she has always been the book
worm and Tracy just left with her fiance, why
did she do that last night?” Angela asked
referring to the lesbian thing.
“She needed my help in getting Reed off her
back but I refused” Vance said feeling like a
total jerk for refusing to help.
“Even if you did help, I don’t think you will
succeed in getting rid of Reed. He doesn’t strike
me as the lovey dovey type but as the obsessive
type. Ever since he met Tracy, he has wanted
her for himself and I don’t think he will let her
go. I have a feeling that Reed is willing to kill
just to have Tracy by his side” Angela said and
that got Vance thinking about James.
If Reed really killed James then he’s got to find
the prove and make sure sure Reed pays for his
crime.
“Common, let’s go. I still have to talk to the
teacher” Angela said as she pulled him into the
waiting car.
“I thought I was the only doing that?”
“Guess Who’s repeating a year?”
“Who?”
“Me of course. I failed whole fully in my exam
which is why am told you repeat” Angela said
looking so proud.
“Tch, you must be so proud?”
“Of course, it’s not like am dying, am just going
to repeat a year” Angela replied as she wrap her
arm around his neck.
“It’s gonna be fun schooling with you” she
added brightly.
The drive to CITADEL ACADEMY took an hour.
As soon as they got out, Angela went with him
to the teacher office and Vance couldn’t help
but to notice that they were being stared at by
other students.
“Don’t fret. They must be falling for your looks”
Angela said when she noticed the looks being
sent his way.
“You are definitely going to be more famous
than me” Angela added as they got to the staff
room.

After he had filled up a form, his teacher took
him to his new class.
“Alright everyone. We’ve got a new Alien, come
in and introduce yourself” Mrs Susan said
ushering him into the room.
Vance had a smile on his face as he walked in
but it soon disappeared when he saw Tracy and
Reed in the front row.
He didn’t mind having Reed in the same class
with him but Tracy bothered him. Maybe it’s due
to his refusal but he’s been feeling guilty.
“Sarah, come seat here” Elsa called him from
the back row and immediately he began
heading there but Maddox got into the seat
before he could.
“Sorry pretty but you will have to seat
somewhere else, why not use my seat?” He said
referring to the empty chair on the second row
which is behind Tracy’s seat.
“Just go back to your seat” Elsa said to Maddox
who gave her a grin instead.
Reluctantly, Vance went to settle himself behind
Tracy’s chair not noticing a male student
starring at him with interest.
Elsa let out a sigh as her gaze lingered on Sarah
who was seated at the front. She had
intentionally left home early just to save the
seat for her and now it’s been taken by him…she
thought as she stared at Maddox only to see
him watching her.
“Do you know that you look prettier without your
glass?” Maddox asked and that got her
flushing.
It’s the first time Maddox ever payed her a
compliment, could it be that he’s finally paying
an interest in her…she thought as hope blossom
within her.
“But not as pretty as Angela ” he added
shattering her hope.
“Actually I need a favour from you Elsa” He said
earning her gaze.
“Have been thinking of ways to do it but none of
it compares to this favour am about to ask from
you “
“What favour do you want from me?” Elsa
asked and just then he took hold of her hand
making her poor heart flutter.
“Can you help me win Angela’s heart?”
“What!”

Jamie was going through his math text book
when Ben, his best friend came running into the
class.
“Guess what everyone! Angela Martin is
repeating this year and she will be studying with
us from now on ” Ben informed as everyone
began talking amongst themselves.
“How do I look?” Ben asked Jamie when he got
to his seat.
“Why are you asking me that?” Jamie replied
feeling his heart skip just by the thought of
having Angela in the same class with him.
“Cause I want to look good in front of Angela. I
thought I will never get the chance to ask her
out but the opportunity just presented itself. I
never told you about my crush on Angela right?
Well now you know and you better not set your
eyes on her” Ben warned playfully.
Jamie said nothing and went back to reading
just their teacher walked in accompanied by
Angela.
“Since you all know her, there’s no need for her
to introduce herself ” Mr David said but a female
student chose that moment to do other wise.
“Is it true that your love for boys got you failing
the exam and repeating with us?”
“Stacey!” Mr David cautioned but she shrug in
response.
“It’s just a question sir, I meant no harm” Stacey
replied starring at Angela with h@të.
A smirk tilted Angela lovely lips and slowly, she
made way to Stacey seat.
“What, Are you scared that am going to take
your boyfriend away from you? Don’t worry, I
have no interest in the guys you fall in love with
after all I have a very high taste which I doubt
your poor taste would ever match. So keep calm
Stacey and focus on your studies or you might
just end up like me” Angela said before going to
the back row which had an empty seat there.
“I so much love Angela” Ben enthuse while
Jamie couldn’t help but to feel proud.

^^ BREAK TIME ^^
Vance got to the female rest room and was
about to go in only to stop at the door way
when he saw Reed and Lola inside.
They were engross in kissing each other that
they failed to notice Vance watching them by
the door way.
“This is not the place for it. You know Tracy is in
school” Reed said as he push Lola slightly away
from him.
“When exactly Will be? You barely have time for
me again, your only focus is Tracy when she
doesn’t even love you” Lola blurt out in anger.
“You are right, she doesn’t love me but that
doesn’t stop me from wanting her. Tracy have
always been like a challenge to me, she’s
different from girls like you which Is why am
into her” Reed replied.
“But Reed she’s…”
“Quit with the nagging and let go. Have got to
go to my fiancee” he added as he move away
from her.
“Will you at least come to the hotel tonight?
Have missed you, Reed” Lola said while Reed
gave it some thought.
“Perhaps ” he said not fully committing himself.
Vance who had been listening to their
conversation quickly went to hid himself while
the two left the female rest room.
Lola got back to class only to see Reed all over
Tracy trying to impress her as always.
It infuriates her that he keeps doing things for a
girl who doesn’t appreciate him.
“Won’t you do something or will you watch her
steal him away from you for good?” Brenda,
Lola’s best friend said as she approach them.
“What can I do when Reed is crazy about her “
Lola replied as Reed left the class with Tracy
and his friends.
“Want me to help you?”
“Don’t even dare, Reed is going to kill me if he
finds out that I hurt Tracy” Lola said feeling
more angry.
“But he doesn’t have to know it’s us” Brenda
said and that piqued Lola’s interest.
“What’s your plan?”

Tracy got to the science lab expecting everyone
to be there since their next class will be taken
place there.
She was about to leave when she the door
suddenly got shot.
A startled Tracy was heading to the closed door
when gas was released in the room.
It wasn’t a normal gas but a choking gas, Tracy
began coughing hard while hitting the door just
so someone can notice her.
Inhaling a lot of the gas weakened her and she
fell on the floor praying someone would come
to her aid and as if God heard her prayer.
The door was kicked open and she felt herself
being lifted off the floor and out of the lab.
Back outside, Vance kept calling Tracy name
until she coughed out, opening her eyes to stare
at him.
Thank God he had got lost on his way to the
library or he would never have been able to save
Tracy.
“What happened! Tracy” Reed called as he knelt
on the floor looking very worried. By now other
students have gathered around them.
“Tell me what happened to her?” Reed
demanded but Vance only glared at him in
return.
“Let me take her to the school infirmary” Reed
said wanting to take Tracy but Vance tightened
his hold on her.
“Hurry up and give her to me” Reed said trying to
take Tracy from him but Vance pushed off his
hand before starring at Tracy who was silently
watching both of them.
“I changed my mind, I will help you get rid of
this scvm. Do you still want me to?” Vance
asked Tracy and slowly she gave a nod in reply.
Lifting her into his arms once again, Vance
walked past Reed and the other students,
heading to the school infirmary.
