Peter replied having a smug look on his face.

<< SPRING DAY COLLEGE >>
“Why did you ask me to come here?” Cherry
asked as soon as she got into Peter’s car.
“To begin our plan” Peter replied as his gaze
returned to Thalia who just walked out with
Michelle and Daniella.
“What sort of plan is it?” Cherry asked.
“Just watch” Peter replied softly, a smile
splaying on his lips.
Silently, they both watch as Thalia friends left
while she stayed back, no one have to tell them
that she’s waiting for Romeo.
“Who’s that guy?” Cherry ask when she saw a
delivery boy approach Thalia.
“Someone I sent” Peter said and they watched
the delivery boy gave a bouquet of flower to
Thalia who was in turn, startled by this gesture.
“Are you trying to flirt with her?” Cherry asked in
fury.
“You still don’t get right?” Peter returned
smoothly obviously annoyed by her stupidity.
Cherry stared at Thalia to see Romeo approach
her and that’s when realization hit her.
“Now I get it! You plan on causing a rift between
them right?” Cherry cried out in excitement.
“Bingo. Am sure that with what I have in mind,
they are definitely going to break up” Peter said
as they kept watching the couple from the
confine of his car.

“Are you still angry?” Thalia asked as she and
Romeo walked hand in hand to her part time
job.
“Jealous not angry” a sulking Romeo said in
return and immediately, Thalia stood in front of
him halting him In process.
“Have told you that I have no idea who sent the
bouquet and even if I do, I will make it clear to
whoever it is that have got the perfect guy for
me and that he should leave me alone, you are
the only one have got eyes for ” Thalia said with
all sincerity while Romeo couldn’t help but to
melt.
“I will keep that in mind then” he said and gave
her a deep throated kiss before continuing their
walk.
“Don’t you think your ex sent the flower?”
Romeo suggested while Thalia thought about it.
“I don’t think so, he isn’t the type to give out
flowers, he didn’t do that when we were dating
and he definitely wouldn’t do that now” Thalia
replied as they got to the cafe where she work.
“Should I come pick you up?” Romeo asked.
“Don’t bother, I can take the tax__”
“I can’t allow that. If it were up to me, you will be
spending the day with me but then you wouldn’t
quit your job which I respect but don’t say no to
me coming to pick you. It’s quite dangerous at
night and you__” A kiss from Thalia prevented
him from saying more.
“Is that a way for you to tell me to shut up?” He
asked, the corner of his mouth lifting to form a
smile.
“No. It’s me saying that I love you, so so much!”
She said shyly before running to the cafe
stopping at the door to wave at him.
” I will finish my shift at eight, come pick me up,
okay!” She added before going in.
Romeo on the other hand, couldn’t stop thinking
about the anonymous guy who sent her the
bouquet.

Thalia got out of the dressing room only to be
given an order to take to table number four.
She got there with the customer order and was
surprised to see Peter there.
“What are you doing here” She said the first
thing that came to mind.
“To eat, I’m famished ” he replied with a smile
and quickly she set down the tray which had
two burger and a smoothie.
“Why aren’t the rest with you?” Thalia asked
referring to Jerry and Donald.
“Preoccupied with other stuff and since I was
lonely, I decided to come eat out” he replied,
wearing a lonely look on his face, something
which got Thalia sitting with him.
“Since boss isn’t around, have got some time for
myself” she said when he gave her a quizzical
look. “You don’t mind if I keep you company,
right?” She added and that earned her a smile
from him.
They talked for some time and Thalia couldn’t
help but to enjoy his company once again.
He was telling her a tale about his high school
life when one of her colleague interrupted them,
handing her a bouquet of flower.
“It came just now and there’s no name on the
note” her colleague and went back to the
counter.
Slowly, Thalia pulled out the note and read the
content.
★ IT WAS FUN THE LAST TIME, I HOPE THAT
IT WILL BE BETTER NEXT TIME AND DON’T
GIVE ME THE EXCUSE OF HAVING A
BOYFRIEND, I KNOW THAT ROMEO IS BUSY
WITH WORK, I WILL SEND YOU THE ADDRESS
WHEN NEXT I SEND YOU A BOUQUET AND
MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE OR I WILL MAKE
SURE YOU PAY★
“Who the hell is this!” Thalia said out in
frustration, crumpling the paper.
“Who is that?” Peter asked and though she
refused at first, she ended up spilling the whole
thing to him.
“If he do send the bouquet with the address, do
not go. I can help you find out who he is” Peter
said.
“Really?”
“I have a friend who tracks people, I will give
him a call now”
Thalia watched as he spoke on the phone and a
while later, he left the cafe with the promise of
finding out who the guy is.
Peter got to his car and let out a smile, things
are going as planned. All he has to do now is to
make sure it becomes a success.

<< NEXT DAY >>
As soon as Romeo got out of the chauffeur
driven car, Cherry quickly walk up to him.
“I know am the last person you would want to
see right now but have got to tell you some
thing” Cherry said when Romeo was about to
ignore her.
“And what makes you think that I would want to
hear anything you have to say? “
“That’s because I want to apologise” on hearing
that, Romeo stood in his tracks, starring at her.
“Can you spare a few of your time?” Cherry
asked.

<< HOTEL ZEUS >>
“Are you sure he’s here?” Thalia spoke on the
phone as the taxi driver dropped her off in front
of the hotel.
“Yes and am currently with him. Once you get
into the hotel, just ask for room 405″ Peter
replied.
“Okay. Thanks a lot Peter, I don’t know what I
would have done without your help”
“Just thank me once we get rid of the guy” Peter
said into the reciever before switching off the
phone.
On the other hand, Cherry and Romeo were led
to a seat in hotel Zeus restaurant.
“What would you like to eat?” Cherry asked as
she passed him the menu.
“We aren’t here to eat, remember” Romeo replied
but Cherry ignored him and ordered something
for them.
“I know that what I did back then was wrong
and I apologise for it” she began slowly.
“I didn’t know what came over me, all I was
thinking of was that I will get you to be mine if I
switched souls with Thalia but then__”
“Tell me something, where on earth did you get
that potion?” Romeo asked.
It’s one of the reason why he agreed to
accompany Cherry since he had to know how
she came across the potion.
“Well I__actually I__” she paused, trying to think
of a lie to give him and it was at that moment
that she caught sight of Thalia.
“Isn’t that Thalia?” She said, quickly changing
the subject.
Romeo had time to spot Thalia before she got
out of sight.
“Did she come looking for you?” Cherry asked
and instead of replying, Romeo pulled out his
phone and gave her a call.
“Where are you? I just saw you__”
“Am at school. At the library to be precise, am
trying to complete the assignment given to me”
On hearing Thalia lies, Romeo took his time
before giving a reply.
“Alright, see you later” he said and ended the
call wondering why Thalia lied to him.
“My guess is that your girlfriend lied to you,
right?” Cherry words got him feeling more
infuriated.
“Why don’t we check out why she’s here and
why she lied to you” Cherry added as she got
out of her seat heading to the reception and
reluctantly, Romeo followed suit.
It took them some time to persuade the
receptionist into telling them the number of the
hotel room Thalia went.
As soon as they got to room 405, Cherry
knocked on the door a couple of times before a
rough looking guy opened the door.
“Who the hell are you and why are you bothering
me?” He bellowed, sending a glare to Cherry and
to Romeo.
“I believe that my friend girlfriend is here” Cherry
replied sweetly.
“Tch, girlfriend! Sorry guys but the only girl here
is my girl and so I suggest you look somewhere
else” the guy said wanting to close the door but
Romeo stopped his attempt,pushing past him
into the room.
There was no sign of Thalia in the sitting room
and so, he went to the bed room and saw her
there.
She was under the sheets, half naked and she
was also unconcious.
“What the hell are you doing to her!” Romeo
yelled, feeling stunned by the scene in front of
him.
“What else would I be doing with my__” he didn’t
get to complete his sentence because Romeo
gave him a punch on his face.
“That girl lying on that bed is my girlfriend, you
dutch bag!” Romeo bellowed as he gave him a
kick on the face.
“A girlfriend who is cheating on you. Can’t you
open your eyes to the truth!” Cherry let out in
frustration and it was at that moment Thalia
woke up.
On seeing Romeo, her eyes widened. She sat up
while pulling the sheets over her properly.
“It’s not what you think, Romeo” she said
slowly.
“There’s nothing you can say to justify this,
Thalia. Romeo and I saw you down at the lobby
but yet you lied and when we came here, it’s to
find you under this man sheets obviously
making out. You really are disgusting ” Cherry
spat out but Thalia gaze was solely on
Romeo’s.
“Romeo” she called as a tear slid down her face.
“Just say the truth already, there’s no use
pretending to be a saint when we’ve seen it all!”
Cherry yelled again.
Romeo who had been watching the exchange in
silence finally did something.
Pulling off his jacket, he went to Thalia and
wrap it around her before starring at Cherry.
“On the contrary, I think you should be the one
to say the truth Cherry” Romeo said, his voice
hard and menacing.
“W__what truth?”
“That you planned all this just to make Thalia
look like a cheating whore. Am sorry Cherry but
I’m not going to fall for your lies this time
around ” Romeo said leaving Cherry looking
dumb struck.
