CHAPTER 26~27

“Pascal” She called out in a Mõ@n and Pascal
smirked more.
Josephine quickly pushed him away and stood.
She started trying to conceal the redness on her
cheeks.
“How can you freely ask me that, I’m your
teacher” She snapped.
“You are my teacher but you weren’t behaving
like that during that moment” He smiled.
“Get out” She said, looking away from him.
“See you later” He smiled and walked out of the
office.
Josephine held her chest, her heart banging on
her chest.
Pascal couldn’t believe himself that there’s this
side in him.
He’s the type that’s always shy around girls and
the fact that he’s this flirtatious around
someone who’s old enough to be his sister is
baffling to him.
He could sense the big effect he has on her, she
always behaved this way when he’s close to
her.
What are these weird feelings?
Meanwhile in Josephine’s office,
What happened was still baffling to her. He’s
her student and she’s older but why’s her body
reacting against her wish.
“What are these feelings? I’m older” She
muttered and when she remembered how she
Mõ@ned his name, she covered her face up in
her palms.
“What is wrong with you Josephine?” She
sighed heavily.
“I can’t even control it, he’s having this big effect
on me” She uttered and folded her fist.
She stood there for a minute before leaving the
office.
Pascal went to the class and met Nathan. Some
girls were trying to flirt with him but he wasn’t
interested in what they were doing.
“Just coming from your crush’s office?” Nathan
asked as Pascal settled with him.
“I told you not to talk to me, I wasn’t joking”
Pascal frowned.
“Come on bro, I’m sorry” Nathan said and
hugged his arm.
“Let go of me” Pascal almost laughed but he
maintained a firm expression on his face.
“Ok, I’m sorry, can you stop already?” Nathan
snapped.
“You are yelling at me”
“Ok, f*ck you, don’t talk to me too” Nathan said
and rolled eyes.
“Wh@tëver” Pascal said.
A teacher entered the class and everywhere
became quiet. Even the sound of a falling pin
could be heard.

Josephine came out of a class after finishing
her lecture, she was about to turn to the
direction of her office when Laurent called her
from behind.
“Laurent” She said and he hugged her
surprisingly but she quickly broke the hug.
“We are in the presence of the students” She
frowned.
“I’m sorry, I missed you” He said and she looked
at him surprisingly.
When did that one start?
“But you won’t feel this way if Pascal said the
same thing” Her mind mocked and she sighed.
Her mind is right.
“Are you ok?” He asked, noticing her zoning out.
“I’m fine” She forced a smile.
“Are you not having a lecture now?” She asked.
“I’m having the next class by 1pm” She replied.
“Ok, I need to go to my office now”
“Can we eat lunch together?” He asked.
“I’m sorry, next time” She replied and walked
away.
Laurent bit his lips staring at her backside till
she went out of view.
<THE KINGS COSMETICS>
The chairman’s personal assistant came into
the office and bowed his head.
“What is it Marcel?” Chairman asked.
If you forgot who he is, he’s Josephine’s father.
“Mr Lawrence is here” Marcel replied.
“And you kept him waiting?” Chairman asked
angrily.
“I’m sorry chairman” Marcel apologized and
quickly went out.
Just a minute later, the door opened and
Lawrence came in.
“Lawrence” Chairman stood and Lawrence
smiled.
“I’m sorry, forgive my personal assistant”
Chairman said.
“Don’t worry about that Laurent” Lawrence
smiled and sat down.
“You decided to visit me today” Chairman sat.
“You know how busy we are, how’s your wife?”
Laurent asked.
“She’s fine, how is your son?” Chairman asked.
“He’s fine, stubborn like your daughter, how’s
she?” Lawrence replied.
“She’s a teacher now” Chairman replied and
Lawrence laughed.
“So what we discuss is still on right?” Lawrence
asked.
“Yes” Chairman replied.
<LUNCH~ CAFETERIA>
Students were already in the cafeteria when
Nathan and Pascal got there.

The girls started murmuring as the two hotties
sat down.
An idea came into Nathan’s head and he
smirked.
He stood up and Pascal looked at him.
“Hello girls” Nathan shouted and all the girls’
attention went to him.
“What are you doing?” Pascal asked.
“Watch me” Nathan replied and faced the girls.
“Pascal is inviting the girls to eat lunch with
him” Nathan said loudly and the girls started
screaming.
“Nathan!!! I didn’t say anything” Pascal gasped.
“It’s a payback bro, come over girls” Nathan
smirked and the girls started rushing to him.
“Nathan” Pascal shouted as the girls filled the
table.
“What should I order?” A girl asked and Pascal
glared at Nathan who was smirking.
“Talk please, should I order chicken?” The girls
started bugging him.
“Enjoy bro, enjoy girls” Nathan smirked and
went to another table.
Jerry joined him and started laughing.
“What have you done?” Jerry asked, laughing.
“It’s just a payback” Nathan replied while
looking at Pascal as the girls were over him.
<JOSEPH’S MANSION>
Mindy came out of the mansion and got into
her car. She adjusted her Black leather jacket
and started the car.
She drove out of the mansion and hit the road.
She was still driving when suddenly her car
suddenly stopped and when she tried starting it
again it refused. She tried several times, but it
didn’t work.
“What is happening?” Mindy hit the steering
wheel.
“My car can’t break down here” She said and
opened the door.
“I will just use a bus” She said, waiting for a bus
but it was like luck was against her, no bus
passed there for five minutes.
“OMG!!” Mindy shouted angrily.
A car suddenly stopped beside her car and the
door opened. A guy came out of the car.
“Hi” The guy said and Mindy turned to her.
“Hi” She waved.
“What is wrong?” He asked, looking at her.
“My car just broke down and I can’t get a
mechanic here” She said.
“Where are you going?” He asked.
“La volte” She replied.
“I’m going to the same place” He smiled.
“Really?”
“Yes, I can help you there” He said.
“But what about my car?”
“I will call my mechanic to fix it for you” He
replied.
“Thanks” She said.
Mindy took her bag and followed him to the car,
he opened the door for her and she entered.
He got in and drove away.
<PASCAL’S APARTMENT>
Pascal opened the door and Mindy jumped on
him immediately. He staggered back with his
weight on her.
“Mindy” He smiled.
“I missed you so much” She said.
“I miss you too” He replied and she pecked him.
She came down and he shifted back a little.
“You are busy these days right?” He asked and
she nodded.
“I missed your cooking” He said and she
frowned.
“Are you mocking me?”
“No, I’m telling the truth” He laughed.
“Josephine is having dinner with her parents,
why didn’t you join her?” She asked and settled
on the couch.
“What? I’m not her family” He said.
“I was just joking” She laughed and roamed her
eyes.
“Can we go out any day?” She asked and he
looked at her.
“Ok” He smiled and she hugged him.
Her heart skipped a beat and she didn’t let go
this time, she kept inhaling his scent.
“Mindy” He called.
“Can I keep hugging you like this for five
minutes, I love your scent” she whispered and
he sighed softly.
<THE KINGS FAMILY MANSION>
Josephine parked in front of the mansion and
stepped out.
She didn’t feel like coming but she decided to
come since she promised to come today.
She went into the mansion and met her parents
in the living room.
“Daughter” Her mother hugged her.
“Mum” She smiled and hugged her back.
“Dad” Josephine hugged the chairman.
“How are you?” He asked.
“I’m fine” She replied.
“Dinner is ready” The Chief maid announced.
“Let’s go to the dining” Chairman said and they
walked there.
They settled down and the maids started
serving them.
They finished and walked out.
“Shall we” Chairman said and they started
eating.
“Mum, you talked about something important,
so I’m here now” Josephine said.
The woman looked at the Chairman and he
nodded.
“Do you know Mr Lawrence?” Chairman asked.
“Yes I do” Josephine replied.
“Do you know he has a son who teaches in the
same school as you?” He asked.
“No, but what are you driving at Dad?”
Josephine asked, getting suspicious already.
“I want you to just meet him and get along with
him” Chairman replied.
“Why?”
“His father is like family to us so it’s good if you
two get along too” She replied and Josephine
quickly got what they were trying to do but she’s
not ready for it.
“And what is his name?” She asked curiously.
“Laurent Lawrence” Chairman replied and
Josephine’s spoon fell.
