Sophie coughed incessantly, tapping her chest repeatedly. Struggling into the bathroom, blood dripped on the floor.
On reaching the toilet, she collapsed, gripping the seat for support. Coughing persistently, only heavy loads of blood emerged.
“Mum!” Idris’s sudden voice reached her, prompting her to hastily lock the room’s door.
“Mum?” He called, knocking for her to open the door.
“Give me a few minutes, baby. I’m changing” she managed to utter despite the pain.
“Are you okay? You don’t sound good” he said with concern.
“Of course, I’m okay” she replied. “Just wait for me, and I’ll join you soon.”
“Okay” he responded.
As Sophie realized he had left, the tears she’d been holding back streamed down, and she clung to her chest. The emotional pain surpassed the physical one she was enduring.

Gavino stood next to Elmira, guiding her aim as she focused on the target.
“Ensure your gaze is unwavering before pulling the trigger” he advised, and Elmira nodded. “This way, you won’t miss your mark.”
Encouraged to try, Elmira exhaled nervously, silently praying for success. Unfortunately, her first attempt faltered.
“Let’s try it together” Gavino suggested, positioning himself beside her. The proximity sent shivers down Elmira’s spine, awakening excitement.
“Focus” Gavino’s husky voice echoed, breaking Elmira from her reverie.
Preparing for another shot, Gavino, with a hand on her waist, guided her. The unexpected touch left Elmira with goosebumps, making the task more challenging.
“Concentrate!” Gavino asserted sternly, bringing her back to reality.
As she aimed again, his hand shifted, crossing boundaries.
“If you miss again, you’ll be shouting my name louder today” he declared firmly, instilling fear in Elmira.
“Hesitation only intensifies your consequences” he warned.
“God, please” she prayed hopelessly, feeling the weight of impending punishment.
Closing her eyes briefly, she refocused, releasing her index finger from the trigger.
To her astonishment, the bullet struck the target, shattering the bottle. Overwhelmed with joy, Elmira couldn’t contain herself, unsure whether to shout or jump. This had to be one of the happiest days of her life.
“Not bad, Bina. Not bad” Gavino praised, lightly ruffling her hair. “I expect even more next time.”

“Hey, boy” Gavino called out to his resting pet, Hades.
The metallic clang of the cage door resounded as he entered, and his eyes met the penetrating gaze of the awaiting hyena. Hades rose eagerly and rushed to welcome his master. Gavino’s smile softened as he tenderly patted the animal’s gray fur.
Outside the cage, Elmira stood in hesitant silence, watching the scene unfolding before her. Sensing her presence, Gavino turned to address her.
“Are you going to stand there forever?”
“I’m not a fan of wild animals; they scare me” she confessed.
Gavino continued to feed the hyena, unfazed by her discomfort. He threw chunks of flesh from a bucket, and Hades devoured them hurriedly.
“Which means you’re scared of me too?” he twisted and questioned, his eyes searching her’s for a response.
“Yes” Elmira admitted with a shaky voice.
Gavino chuckled lightly at her honesty, the sound reverberating in the room.
Intrigued, he probed further, “Tell me, Bina… Which part of me scares you the most?”
“Everything!” she replied.
“Hmm” he hummed thoughtfully, turning his attention back to the hyena for a moment.
The atmosphere hung heavy with tension as she awaited his next words. Finally, he turned around, fixing his gaze on her once more.
“Keep that fear, and I might let you live longer” he grinned devilishly. Elmira swallowed nervously as his words settled in her dry throat.
The room seemed to darken as shadows of fear wrapped around her, casting a foreboding aura.

As Delilah entered the lounge, her gaze locked onto Tiago, prompting her to swiftly change course and select a different seat.
“Babe?” Tiago called out urgently, reaching for her hand.
Her eyes expressed disdain as she pulled away, but he persisted, pulling her back into an unexpected kiss.
“I understand you’re still upset, but can’t we just move past this and return to how things used to be?” he pleaded, speaking rapidly.
“This isn’t who we are, babe” he continued.
“I’ve reached my limit with your games. I can’t keep allowing you to shatter my heart however pleases you” Delilah replied, shaking her head.
“I’m only human, T” she added, her voice breaking as he kissed her once more.
“Give me one more chance, and I swear I’ll make it right” he implored. “Please…”
Rather than responding verbally, Delilah drew him in for a brief, conflicted kiss.
Their intimate moment was abruptly interrupted by Kendra, who wedged herself between them and severed their connection.
“Someday, it’ll be your corpse left to beg” she snapped, marching toward her intended destination.
“That Bîtch makes me contemplate shoving a dagger down her d@mn throat” Tiago growled.
“Let it be, honeypie. She’s just bitter she chose pu$$¥ over d_1ck” Delilah remarked, and they erupted into mocking laughter.
“Bruh, why the black nail polish? Are you popping asses now?” Ryder quipped at Chase, showcasing his UK accent.
“Yes, and yours is on the list” Chase retorted, proudly displaying his newly polished fingers.
“Ease up on those substances, man” Ryder shot back before departing to join Kendra in a jeep.
“We’re finally going to have some alone time, Kitty” he grinned at her.
“Say that again” Flame interjected from behind.
“Keep quiet and focus on Fuçking those keyboards” Ryder snarled, revving the car’s engine to life.

Elmira stealthily approached Chase’s back as he stood, and closed his eyes closed. Reflecting on her actions, Chase swiftly grabbed her hand and skillfully flipped her onto the hard floor.
“Oh, sorry!” he exclaimed, extending a hand to help her up.
Wincing, Elmira accepted his assistance, dusting off the traces of the hard impact.
“You need to work on your trust issues” she remarked. “Clearly, no one ever taught you how to handle a girl.”
Chase, somewhat taken aback, arched an eyebrow in response.
“Why treat girls like they’re delicate eggs?” he questioned, challenging societal norms.
Rolling her eyes, Elmira retorted, “Because we’re fragile.”
“That mindset leaves you vulnerable to exploitation” he scoffed.
“You’re so mean!” she protested, pouting childishly.
“Thanks for the compliment” Chase quipped.
Observing Elmira’s irritated countenance, he smiled secretly.
“Why are you staring at me that way?” she asked as she caught him staring for a long time.
“You are beautiful” he said carelessly.
“Are you just noticing?” she chuckled.
“No, just wanted to keep it to myself” he replied and tore his gaze from her to a space.
Elmira felt butterflies hearing such a compliment from him and lowered her head to hide her flushed face.

Arriving at the bustling dock, Ryder and Kendra engaged in an intense conversation with the head of security. After a brief exchange, the security chief pointed them to a specific location where crucial cargo was stored.
As they eagerly opened the first container, a wave of confusion washed over them – it was empty. Perplexed, they moved on to the next one only to find the same eerie emptiness within.
“What’s going on?” Kendra’s furrowed brows mirrored her confusion.
Before any answers could be sought, a sudden gunshot shattered the air, and the security personnel accompanying them collapsed lifelessly. Reacting swiftly, Ryder shouted for cover, and the duo sought refuge behind sizable cargo boxes.
The sound of gunfire echoed through the dock as they engaged in a fierce shootout with concealed adversaries.
“We are surrounded. You guys need to evacuate immediately!” Flame’s urgent voice resonated through their earpods.
“Go ahead; I’ll provide cover” Ryder valiantly offered, firing a shot that found its mark.
Unheeding Ryder’s protective gesture, Kendra boldly sprinted out, unleashing a relentless barrage of bullets to shield herself. A daring move paid off as she skillfully shot an assailant in his groin, her preferred target for dealing with male threats.
Meanwhile, Ryder swiftly occupied the driver’s seat, maneuvering the vehicle skillfully through the maze of danger. Despite the relentless efforts of their pursuers, they sped away, leaving the chaotic scene behind.

“How on earth could you not find anything there?” Gavino’s voice resonated with anger, creating a palpable tension.
“We were ambushed, Don” Ryder responded, maintaining composure despite Gavino’s rising ire.
“You couldn’t Fuçking handle them?” He barked, his impatience escalating.
In the face of his wrath, both Ryder and Kendra remained stoic. Gavino, unable to contain his anger, violently kicked the chair he sat on, shattering it instantly.
“Excuse me, Don” Flame interjected as she delicately walked into the room.
“What the hell is it?” He snarled, fixing her with a deadly gaze.
“Our system was hacked. We have a case of missing guns and cash” she calmly delivered her report.
Gavino’s anger momentarily shifted to intrigue.
“A thief in my mob? Interesting!” he said, his mischievous smile revealing how dangerous things have gotten.
