Ivy left and walked to where she has been directed. She opened the door and her eyes widened with food which almost fall down from her hand.

“I ordered something not for you to keep staring.” Ivan said, his eyes still on his computer.
Ivy adjust herself well before walking towards his desk.
“Umm, morning.” Ivy said and dropped the food on the desk.
” I will get going.” She said but Ivan didn’t respond.
“He can’t even say thank you, gosh he’s not only cold but arrogant.” Ivy muttered.
She was about to open the door when he stopped her.
“Stop.” Ivan said standing up from his seat.
Ivy stood on her spot and face the front slowly. Ivan walked towards her and stand in front of her.
“What.. what is wrong.” Ivy said trying not get too close to him.
“What did you just said.” Ivan said.
“What, I didn’t say anything.” Ivy said.
“Firstly, I don’t say thank you. Secondly, it is my money and thirdly..” Ivan said.
“What is the third one?” Ivy asked.
“I will tell you that later now out.” Ivan said walking back to his seat.
“What! He is not only cold and arrogant but also wierd.” Ivy muttered again.
She was to open the door when Melissa came in. Melissa looked at her in surprise and then at Ivan.
*Who’s she and why is she here.* Melissa said inwardly.
Ivy passed by her and left the office.
“I think I have not been telling you this but I think you should knock before entering when I have a visitor.” Ivan said coldly.
*Really? I should knock.* She said inwardly and scoffs.
“Am sorry sir, I didn’t know you had a visitor.” Melissa said but he didn’t respond.
“Anything?” Ivan asked closing his computer.
“Umm, I just came to tell you that the goods has just been imported.” Melissa said.
“Oh no problem, tell the staffs in charge of that to take perfect care of it. I don’t want a single mistake.” Ivan said.
” Okay sir.” Just then she noticed the food on the table.
“Umm sir, is this for you?” Melissa asked.
“Yes, you should eat if you want to.” Ivan said while pressing his phone.
*Awwn, he is being nice now.* Melissa said inwardly.
“Thank you sir.” Melissa said and he nodded.
★Royal’s Club ★
There wasn’t a lot of people at the club today, so Sophia decided to go home and come back later in the night.
She took permission from her boss and they let her. She then took a cab.
Sophia arrived home and then she noticed some strange aura in her house though she lives alone.
She opened the door and turn on the light, she screamed immediately.
” Argggggggggh.” She screamed.
Bryan was sitting on one of the sofas in the living room. He stood up and walked towards her.
” You, what are you Füçking doing here.” Sophia said.
” Can’t I come to my girlfriend’s house anymore.” Bryan said smiling.
” How many times do I have to tell you that it’s Ex, we are no longer together so get that into your brain and get out of my house.” Sophia said angrily.
” Hey Sophia, be remorseful at Least, I know you still love me right?” Bryan said.
” Love? You? I h@të you to the core.” Sophia said.
” Sophia, please just listen to me please. I promise just this once please, I promise I won’t come after you after this.” Bryan said.
” I don’t want to listen to you, I don’t love you anymore so I don’t see the reason why I should listen your explanation just out of my house.” Sophia said opening the door.
” Okay, I’ll go but I will keep coming back until you listen to me.” Bryan said before leaving.
Sophia shut the door immediately, she walked to the sofa and slump on it and a tear escaped her eyes.
” He doesn’t deserve my tears, I shouldn’t even think about it. I don’t want to listen to his explanation nor do I want him around me.” Sophia said to herself before going to her room.
★ Closing hours~ Ellite college★
Ava can be seen fighting with a student while her two puppies Becky and Roselia kept maltreating the girl.
“Now you are going to do as I say.” Ava said holding the girl’s hand very tight.
” Please, I don’t want to do that. Please leave me.” The girl said crying.
“No no, you are going to do what I want or else consider yourself gone in this college.” Ava said.
Let’s say because her father own 30% share in the school.
“Let’s just ruin her ugly face more.” Becky said.
“What are you guys doing.”
They turn to see Louisa and Charlotte. Ava left the girl’s hand immediately. She only wants to be in her good books even though Louisa knows about all her bullying.
“She offended us and we’re teaching a lesson, she doesn’t get to go scot free.” Ava said.
“Go.” Louisa said to the girl and Ava glared at her.
” But Louisa.”
“Go.” Louisa said to her again and she ran away immediately.
“I don’t want to see this kind of scene again Ava.” Louisa said before leaving.
“Ava, why did you let her control you that way.” Rosella said and all she received was a dirty slap.
“Don’t you dare talk to me that way, y’all don’t know what I am doing to get into her good books so none of you shouldn’t dare to interfere.” Ava said and left.
” That Bîtch.” Rosella said angrily.
★ Ivy’s workplace★
Ivy finished work for the day and was about to go home.
“Melody, am going home.” Ivy said.
“I think we should go today, am done for the day too.” Melody said before removing her apron and washed her hand.
At that instance, Ivy saw a familiar car parked at some miles away from the restaurant. The person got out of the car and she could recognize him as the Cold ice.
“What’s he doing here?” Ivy said to herself.
“He is obviously here for work.” She said again.
“Common let’s go.” Melody said.
“That business man is here.” Ivy said and Melody squinched her brows.
“So….” Melody shrugged.
*Am I stupid, how does that concern me.* Ivy said inwardly.
They went out of the restaurant there after, they decided to take a walk.
“Do you think we should go meet Sophia tonight?” Melody said.
“Again? I don’t wish to go.” Ivy said.
” Yes, I get bored at home staying with Mom and Dad and my brother Alone.” Melody said.
“You should just come to my house instead.” Ivy said.
Melody kept quiet instead.
“Okay, we will go.” Ivy said and Melody hugged her happily.
“Thank you Bess.” Melody said and she smiled.
“Let’s me give her a call.” Melody said and Ivy nodded.
* I actually want to ask her something though.* Ivy said inwardly remembering about her and Bryan.
★ Aurthur’s Mansion ★
Louisa was in her room, she just finished talking with Ma. Rose. She then got a call from an unknown number.
” Uhn, who’s this.” Louisa said before picking the call.
📞: Hi, who’s this. Louisa said.
📞: This is Ryan
Louisa’s eyes widened immediately.
” What! Ryan? How did he get my number.” Louisa said.
📞: How on Earth did you get my number.
📞: Don’t worry about that
📞: Really, then bye
Louisa hunged up the call.
” He is so weird.” Louisa said. He kept calling back but she didn’t pick it up.
Some minutes later, Louisa noticed a car drove in the mansion and no one should tell her it’s Ivan.
She went downstairs to welcome her brother.
“Welcome boss.” A worker said helping him with his suitcase.
“Welcome Ivan.” Ma. Rose said.
“Why aren’t you sleeping yet?” Ivan asked both Louisa and Ma. Rose.
“We were waiting for you brother, would you like to have something.” Louisa said.
“Yes, just a little food though.” Ivan said settling down at the dinning.
“I will go get it.” Ma. Rose said leaving the room.
“Hey brother, I umm.” Louisa said and Ivy looked at her.
“I know you want something, so just say it.” Ivan said and she smiled.
“You know too well. I just need some money for some things.” Louisa said.
” Things like?” Ivan asked.
* Oh God, I still need to ask my brother before I get money, am 18 for crying out loud.* Louisa said inwardly.
“I just need to get somethings to fill my wardrobe and get some other things too.” Louisa said.
” I will give you that in the morning.” Ivan said and she hugged him Immediately.
“Thank you, Thank you brother. You are the best.” Louisa said hugging him before kissing his cheek.
“How many times have I told you to stop doing that.” Ivan said rubbing off his cheek.
Louisa laughed before greeting him good night and went to bed.
“Am your only family, our parents seems to not have our time so I will make I do everything possible within my power for you.” Ivan said before they served him his food.
★ Ivy’s residence★
Ivy and her granny just finished eating their dinner and they settled down to watch some movie.
“Ivy dear, your parents called.” Granny said.
” Really, what did they say.” Ivy said smiling.
“They only told me to keep taking care of you, they will come soon.” Granny said.
” I have been eagerly waiting for them, Granny.” Ivy said sleeping on her lap.
“Don’t worry dear, they will be back soon.” Granny said.
She patted her hair till she fell asleep. She then took her to her room.
★ Ivy’s room★
Sometimes later, Ivy woke up and decided to go take a bath before sleeping fully.
“Am so tired.” She muttered.
Her mind suddenly travelled to Sophia, she decided to give a phone call.
After the second ring, she picked up.
📞: Hey Sophia
📞: Ivy, what’s up
📞: Sorry for disturbing you so late at night, I want to ask a question if you don’t mind
📞: Go on
📞: What’s up between you and the man we met at the club, Bryan I guess
Ivy asked and a silence took place for a while.
