Lucifer stared blankly at the wall; he had been like this for a long time and had no plans to leave. Months ago, if the higher council had told him this, he would have done it without hesitation, but now it was as if they were taking hell from him. He cannot, under any circvmstances, kill Deva.
“My Lord,” he heard Hades call, causing him to turn and face him.
“I have not seen Lauren since yesterday,” Hades expressed concern, as this was unusual for Lauren.
“Find her, then,” Lucifer commands. He closed his eyes because this was not his problem right now.
“M-my lo-lord,” Hades stuttered, and Lucifer looked at him in pity. When he looked at Hades, his expression softened dramatically. Hades appeared extremely terrified.
“My Lord, I am scared,” he murmured. Lucifer disliked the fact that Hades looked like this. This is what love does: it renders you weak and powerless.
“My Lord, please do something about it,” Hades pleaded while kneeling in front of Lucifer.
Lucifer was also distressed because his closest friend was kneeling in front of him, pleading for help, and he could not do anything about it.
“Hades,” he called, prompting Hades to raise his head and look at Lucifer.
Lucifer stood up and walked towards Hades, bending to his level.
“Hades” he called again.
“Yes, my lord,” Hades responded quickly. Lucifer gave Hades a direct look.
“Do you see anything, hades?” Lucifer inquired.
“No, my Lord,” Hades replied.
“And why is that?” Lucifer questioned.
“Because you do not want your eyes to burn, my Lord,” Hades said, causing Lucifer to sigh.
“If only it was that way,” Lucifer said, grasping Hade’s hands.
“I lost my powers, hades,” Hades gasps, as Lucifer reveals.
“What do you mean, my lord?” hades asked, unable to believe what Lucifer had just said to him.
“Remember I could not come to hell without a portal, do I normally do that?” Lucifer asked, causing Hades to nod in recognition.
“Why is that, my lord?” Hades asked. Lucifer let go of Hade’s hand and sat next to him on the floor.
“It’s” Lucifer paused before bending his head.
“It is a prophecy, and it is coming true.”
Hades was quiet, though he was not surprised that the lord would fall for Deva.
“Is there anything you could do?” “Hades” asked. Hades knew Lucifer’s silence meant that the higher council had told him to do something he did not want to.
“They want me to kill Deva.” They both fell silent, and Hades glanced over to Lucifer.
“They said she would be the end of my reign,” Lucifer said softly. They both became quiet again.
“Have you asked Deva if Lauren informed her that she wishes to visit her family or someone outside the palace?”
“Her father and mother are dead, she has no family outside, and she does not know anyone outside the palace.”
Lucifer nodded, then patted Hades on the shoulders.
“Do not worry, Maze will find her. But first, let us ask Deva if she knows anything about Lauren’s disappearance.” Hades nodded before proceeding to search for Maze.
Lucifer approached Deva’s room and knocked softly.
He heard “Come in,” opened the door, and walked in.
“My Lord,” she called, bowing down. Lucifer was taken aback by her gesture but decided to shrug it off.
” How are you doing?” Lucifer asked.
“I am doing fine,” she grinned. Lucifer approached her and then stood in front of her.
“May I ask you a question?” He questioned then nodded.
“We have been searching for Lauren for some time now, but we have not been able to locate her. Since you are her closest friend, she has probably told you where she is, so tell me where she is.” Lucifer asked.
Sare was stunned as she stared at Lucifer, hoping that he would not notice how terrified she was.
“Lauren—she—is—at her father’s house,” Sare eventually stated with a smile.
“Her father’s home?” Lucifer asked.
“Well, she instructed me not to disclose it to anyone, but since you inquired,”
“Lauren does not have any family,” Hades said as he walked into the room, while Maze stood behind him with a scowl.
“Hmm, she does,” she argued back. Hades turns to look at maze.
“Tell him what you told me,” he instructs.
“I looked for Lauren, and you all know my powers never lie to me, and they keep leading me to Deva’s room.”
“It lied to you the day you said Deva had vanished from the kingdom entirely,” Lucifer said, making Maze scoff.
“Lauren is not here,” Sare said, turning to look at Lucifer.
“Tell them she is not here,” she cried out. Lucifer was perplexed by Deva’s unexpected behavior; why was she acting like this?
“Where is she Maze?” Lucifer questioned. Maze looked around before turning her gaze to the bed.
Maze took a moment to gather her thoughts before facing Hades.
“Calm down,” Maze said to Hades, who looked at her in confusion.
“What exactly do you mean?” Hades questioned.
“She-she is under the bed,” Maze stated.
” why? “Are you both playing hide and seek?” Hades inquired before approaching the bed and bending to look under.
“What the…?” hades exclaimed before dragging Lauren out of bed.
“Lauren,” Hades called, touching her head before suddenly turning to face Lucifer.
“Why is she bleeding?” He exclaimed aloud.
“Deva, why is she Fuçking bleeding?” Hades yelled. His face was flushed and furious.
“I-i,” Sare stammered. Lucifer stared at Deva, stunned. Did she do this? Why would she do that? Was this Deva at all?
“Deva, what have you done?” Lucifer asked.
” me? “I swear it, I had no idea she was there,” she said before crying.
“Now that is fake,” Maze said, taking Sare’s hand.
“This…” Maze said, raising Sare’s hand.
“is not Deva,” Maze stated. Lucifer was shocked to his core; he had had that thought before, but he assumed she just needed space.
“Who the he’ll are you?” Lucifer demanded, holding her hand firmly.
“I am Deva,” she said, attempting to remove Lucifer’s hands from her own.
“Shut up,” Lucifer said, shifting his gaze to Hades.
“Is she still alive?” He asked. They remained silent as they waited for Maze to respond to the question. Maze examined Lauren’s body for any signs of life.
“Um, I do not think so.”
DEVONA KINGDOM 🌗🌙
Devina observed the young men in front of her.
“He is weak,” she says, pointing to the other one.
“He is ugly.”
“He is too fat.”
“He is too thin”.
“Ewww, he has golden eyes.”
“He……” she paused before smiling.
“He is gorgeous,” she says to the young man in front of her.
“What is your name?” She asked cheerfully.
“Filip,” he replies.
“Filip? Wow,” Devina says with a smile.
“The rest of you, get out,” she says, and all the men rush out of the throne room.
“Who is your father?” Devina questioned.
“He is King Jolie of Calliphy,” he explained, and Devina’s eyes widened.
” I like that,” she says.
King Jolie was a powerful wizard with a large kingdom, just like hers. She undoubtedly wants his son for her daughter.
“You know what to do, correct?” She asked, and he quickly nodded.
“And you know how to do it properly?”
“Yes, my queen,” he says, smiling.
” Good”.
“Do not be too nice to her; she prefers them cold, and make sure you do what I tell you to do,” Devina said.
“I will, my queen,” Filip smiled and lowered his head.
Devina smiled to herself; if Lucifer finds out about Deva and comes to get her, he would not want to take a pregnant Deva with him, right?

I played with Daraina’s hair while she rested her head on my thighs.
“How is Jarax doing?” I asked Dariana, who was quiet at first but then spoke up.
“He was the sweetest,” she murmured before rising to face me.
“I felt his kick several times while I was in that cave,” she mumbled. I felt so bad for her; if it had not been for me, I am sure she would still have her baby.
“I know I caused all of this, and I am…”
“No, Princess Deva, this is fate, and we can not do anything about it. Do not be sorry, okay,” she says, hugging me.
I had the best friends in the world, and they were extremely supportive.
“So, tell me about your new prince charming,” Dariana said, nudging my shoulders.
” me? “Prince Charming?” My cheeks were already red as tomatoes when I asked.
“Hmm, do not lie, Princess Deva,” she says, smiling.
“Okay fine, hmm, he is very cold and arrogant,” I paused, recalling all of my memories with Lucifer.
“But I still like him; he can be very ignorant at times, but he chooses to be nice and soft.” My smile faded as I remembered I was not particularly pleased with him when I left.
“He is the most handsome man I have ever seen; have you seen his eyes?” I asked.
“No,” she replied, laughing. “I will become blind,” she added.
“Mmm, if he wants you to see it, he can make it happen.”
“I miss him,” I murmured. Dariana let out a sigh before hugging me again.
“He will come for you, do not worry,” she says, panting my hair.
There was a knock on my door.
“Come in,” I said, and the door opened, revealing a young guy.
“Hi, Princess Deva,” he said with a smile.
Okay, this is really weird. I stood up and started walking towards him.
“So, who exactly are you?” I asked, and he smiled.
” I am….”.
“Oh, I get it, just one of the guys my mother sent to me, right?” I interrupted him with a question. He paused for a moment before smiling.
“Yes, actually,” I was surprised by his answer.
“So get out”. He grinned and then smirked.
“I like how fierce you are,” he says as he walks toward me. What is the matter with this corny guy?
I looked at Darianna, who stood up and left my room.
” Don’t you miss me?” He inquired, then locked his hands around my waist.
Who exactly was this guy? That sends shivers down my spine. Was I falling for a guy I just met today?
“Kiss me,” he murmured before holding my cheeks. What the heck was wrong with this guy?
I stared at his silver eyes speechlessly, have I met this guy before? I swallowed hard and attempted to push him away from me.
“I said kiss me,” he murmured again, this time pressing my body into his.
” leave me alone,” I said still trying to get away from him but instead he locked his lips on mine.
