{The End of Silver Bullet}
” Sylvia!!!” Shadow screamed, his voice reverberating eeriely.
Sylvia fell closer and closer to the lava, and everything suddenly went into slow motion. She closed her eyes tightly with her arms and legs spread out like a starfish, ready to embrace her unfortunate death.
But instead of her to sink into the lava, she landed on a solid surface, hurting her face. She stood on the surface and held her face, rubbing it painfully.
Shadow stared widely at her. His brain was splitting into two parts, unable to comprehend how she was standing on lava.
It took a while for Sylvia to also notice wat she was standing on. She stared down in shock.
” How is this possible? How am I not dead?” She asked herself in wonder.
” You’re standing on a large screen display. It’s showing the image of lava, and the room temperature was adjusted to a high heat level yo make the scene more realistic and suspenseful.” Thorn explained over invisible speakers.
” Where are you Thorn? I know you’re out there, hiding somewhere. So quit running from me and show your cowardly face!” Sylvia screamed viciously.
” If you wanna kill me so bad, then why don’t you dare find me? Try finding your way out of the room first.” He said, then everywhere went pitch-silent.
They both looked around them, searching for any means of escape. The door to the room was nowhere to be found as well, and they were surrounded by only walls.
” What are we going to do? We can’t just end like this. This wasn’t how I planned to die!” Sylvia said to Shadow who was still standing above on the ground.
” You didn’t even come with a plan. You just .Ade masks out of real human skin and made us come here together, then you got us trapped in this room.” Shadow blamed her.
” I… Came here with a solid plan. I only needed the masks to get into this empire and then kill Thorn after. Isn’t that a great plan? Huh?” She fired back at him.
” I wouldn’t even call it terrible. Your plan is junk, Sylvia.” He replied her, and she glared daggers at him from below.
” I regret ever saying that I love you. I take it back! You’re an ugly, selfish, mean, useless and terrible person! I h@të you! I regret ever meeting you!” She shouted at him.
” Then maybe you should’ve just killed me instead. Maybe we should’ve just stayed enemies forever. At least we were better off fighting each other than reconciling.” He retorted and turned his back at her.
She grunted and grumpily looked around for a way to escape from the room. She found a roof vent in a corner of the ceiling, and her eyes brightened.
She grabbed the pricky edged of the broken ground and hoisted herself up. She stood by the wall because the ground was small for her to even stand on, then carefully shifted till she was under the roof vent.
Shadow just stared quietly at her with interest. She got there and tried to climb the wall to reach it, but it was too steep. She tried stepping back a little and ran on the walls to get there, but she still couldn’t reach it. All her efforts failed.
She realised that the only way she could get out was by Shadow lifting her to the vent. She frowned, but sighed again because she had no choice.
She turned to him with a desperate, needy and sorry look. He looked away, which hurt her feelings.
” I’m… Sorry.” Was all she could say, and he looked back at her with a cold face.
” If you still want to be angry at me, you can do that after we kill Thorn and get out of here alive. But first, please lift me to that air vent, then when I get up I’ll pull you up as well.” She said.
He sighed, looking like he didn’t wanna do it. He then gave it a second thought and gave her an agreeing look, then he went to the air vent to join her.
They both stood under the air vent, and Sylvia looked up. Shadow grabbed her waist and lifted her to it. She reached for the air vent and pulled it with all her might. It broke off with all its screws, then she climbed up into it.
She stretched her arm down to Shadow, and he grabbed it. She began pulling him up, but then a hole appeared on the wall beside Shadow, and an arrow shot out of it.
Shadow saw the arrow coming, and his eyes widened. In slow motion again, he had to let go of Sylvia and dropped down to the lava screen. The arrow went above his head and missed him.
” Shadow!” Sylvia shouted, but something unexpected also happened on her side.
However it happened, it was like the air vent became alive and sucked her through. She disappeared screaming, and Shadow’s eyes fell wide apart.
” Sylvia!!! Come back!!!” He shouted, but no response. She was gone.
It was a long travel through the air vent as she fell through with no control. The long travel ended, and she fell out of it to the ground. She appeared extremely dirty and roughed up, coughing out dirt as well.
She stood up and cleared some dust from her eyes, looking at a door in front of her. She looked behind her, but there was no one with her. She checked around for security cameras as well, but there weren’t any.
” I don’t think Thorn is watching me, and Shadow isn’t with me as well. I’m actually… Alone.” She said meaningfully as she stared at the door.
She nodded bravely and opened the door, and it was surprisingly cold. She went into it to see what awaited her on the other side, and the door closed behind her.

Shadow on the other hand wasn’t having a really great time. He was panicking, worried and pacing all over the lava screen.
There was no means of escape. The air vent that Sylvia got sucked through shut itself after, so he was stuck down there.
It wasn’t very long when he heard hissing noises around him. He froze on a spot and looked around, only to see numerous giant snakes crawling to him from nowhere. They were all half the size of his body right now.
He panicked even more, then he looked down at the screen. He got a crazy idea and bent down, then he started punching it hardly. The screen cracked, then he added more power and speed to his punches, breaking off the screen more and more.
His fists were bleeding form the hard punches. He was sweating, grunting and even yelling. He kept punching till he was able to break open a hole wide enough for him to fit through.
A snake suddenly jumped fron the screen and launched at him, spreading open its mouth to bite. He caught it by the neck and squeezed it hard, then he sent it flying to the other snakes.
He released rapid breaths, then he closed his eyes jumped, falling into the dark hole to ‘who-knows-where’.

Black was now inside one of the hallways in the building, combatting fiercely and hotly with Storm.
Storm received a huge blow and staggered back with a swollen face & bleeding nose. He touched his cheek and spat out blood.
Black was also bleeding, in all parts of his body except his face. Both subjects were severely injured, but still active and dangerous.
” Where is Bosslady? Tell me where she is and I won’t arrest you and your members. I’ll leave you all for free.” Black told him.
” I’m not that stupid to believe you. You’ve killed many of us already, so why should I accept that you won’t actually arrest us? Also, I’m never gonna say a word about Bosslady’s whereabouts.” Storm spoke seriously.
” Smart.” Black muttered with a con smile.
Black pulled on a deadly face and charged to Storm with a fist. He was very close to punching him when he got pulled from behind, causing him to fall flatly.
Lucy stood in front of Storm afterwards. Storm looked at her from behind with little surprise.
Black got back on his feet. But before he could know what happened, Lucy jumped into the air and gave him a violent spin kick on the face. His face forcefully turned sideways before he fell to the ground again.
She stepped on his head, making him groan painfully as she looked down on him scornfully.
” You just messed with the wrong empire buddy. Now, it’s time for you to pay.” She said.
Storm grabbed a gun and made to shoot Black. Lucy placed her hand on his chest without looking, unintentionally causing butterflies to build up in his tummy.
She looked at him seriously, but that changed into a soft look. They started to stare at each other without even realizing it.
Lucy blinked, regaining her senses. She left his chest and looked back at Black.
” If you badly wanna know where Bosslady is, go to Thorn’s empire and you’ll find her there.” They heard Hazard voice. Both Storm and Lucy shockingly turned back to see her leaning on the wall with her arms crossed, looking in bothered and rebellious.
” Are you insane? How could you tell him that? You fool!” Lucy shouted at her.
Black smirked, getting his opportunity. He looked at her leg and grabbed it, making Lucy look at him.
Before she could free herself, he fell her down with that leg. She fell right on her back, hitting her head hard as well. She went limp immediately.
Black ran off immediately, disappearing into thin air.
” Lucy!” Storm exclaimed, going down to hold her. He tried to smack her face a few times to revive her, but she never woke up.
He felt her breath from her nostrils with his fingers, but she wasn’t breathing. He put his ear on her heart, but it wasn’t beating at all. She… Was late.
Storm’s heart skipped a million beats as he slowly lifted his head from her with a horrified, scared look. He slowly stood as well, then he looked at Hazard with heavy pants.
His scared face turned deadly and lethal. He started striding to her, but she stood her ground and stared at him fearlessly.
He grabbed her neck and pushed her against the wall, choking her hard. Her eyes immediately turned red and teary, and she struggled and gasped as he glared with bloodshot eyes.
” You… Did this. You ended my Lucy, so I’m gonna kill you. You’re gonna follow her to where you sent her!” He growled, choking her even harder.
Cops suddenly appeared from both sides of the hallway, surrounding them entirely.
” Stop what you’re doing!” One of them ordered Storm, hit he didn’t listen. He was determined to murder her with every single thing he was made of.
The cops had to intervene and separate him from Hazard with force. She fell to the ground, gasping and holding her neck painfully.
” You’ll regret this. I swear, you’ll regret this! I’ll kill you!” Storm shouted monstrously at her, then he was cuffed and taken away while struggling.
Hazard was also cuffed and led away. Lucy was placed on an emergency stretcher and taken away as well.
Outside the empire building, Acid appeared with 5 masked mafiosos, all wearing black except him. He’s fully dressed in red.
He’s Thorn’s new second-in-command. He has a feisty look amd attitude, one that could kill and easily scare anyone off.
All 6 of them scattered immediately, moving around with stealthily without getting noticed or spotted. They successfully planted bombs in every single part of the empire, then they all left and went to meet outside the empire, standing far from it.
” So long, SILVER BULLET. Your time ends now.” Acid said evilly, then he cackled maniacally before clicking on a button in his hand.
The bombs started to go off with terrible booms, exploding one after another. The buildings in the empire started crashing and collapsing, killing everyone in its way.
Many mafiosos had gotten to the secret empire garden when this happened. They were all screaming and falling due to the violent shaking of the ground, trying to escape for their lives.
There are three secret entrances to the empire. The first is located on the wall, a few feet from the titanium gate, but it has been permanently locked. The second is in the swimming pool, which was also permanently locked and killed Treynor. The third is a hatch on the ground of the garden, and they’d found it already.
The secret entrance has a lid which is hard to open, so Agony volunteered himself to hold it up. He was using his whole strength and life to make sure that the lid doesn’t close, or the rest of them will be trapped in the empire and they’ll all die getting crushed by the buildings.
Everyone had fully and safely gone through the hatch. Foster was the last to go through, but she came back.
” Agony… Let me hold up the lid for you. You should go through instead of me.” Foster said.
” I can’t leave the lid. If I move a single finger away, I might accidentally close it on you. Please, quickly go through the hatch.” He said desperately.
” But I can’t. I’m not leaving without you. You’re a good guy, so I can’t just leave you behind. I’ll hold the lid up.” Foster said desperately as well.
Agony gave a soft smile, and Foster gave an emotional look with tears in her eyes. It was as if someone was cutting up onions beside her.
She held his face absent-mindedly. He didn’t resist her touch, then she closed her eyes and kissed him.
” I love you.” She said in the kiss and broke it, looking at him lovingly.
” I love you too… But I’m sorry.” He replied, and she pressed her lips sadly.
She hugged him, and he enjoyed the hug with her as well. When she broke it, he unexpectedly used his head to push her own down, making her fall lower into the hatch.
” Agony!” She screamed and stretched her hand out to him. He pushed her hand in with his leg and left the lid, making it close permanently.
” Agony, no!!!” Foster screamed tearfully, banging her fists energetically on the lid.
Agony knelt down and kissed the lid. A heavy part of the wall behind him broke, then it met his head and crushed it against the lid.
His blood escaped from his crushed head, going through the lid. Foster saw the blood and her eyes widened madly.
” Agony, no!!!” Foster screamed more madly.
The whole empire building exploded into pieces, falling over his body and covering the garden entirely.
After a few more explosions, the empire was looking unrecognizable. It was now a heap of rubble, dust and blocks.
” Mission accomplished.” Acid said to himself, then he did a high-five with one of his partners.
They suddenly got surrounded with cops out of nowhere.
” Freeze!” One of the cops ordered, but Acid and his friends started to attack without holding back, struggling to escape.
As results, all of his five partners got killed. He was also overpowered and knocked down, then they cuffed him and led him to their police van.
