“Madison… Madison can you hear us” Amanda and Amelia called her and Madison snapped out of her imagination breathing heavily.
How could she think such? Maybe it’s just the fear of not seeing him again or the fact that there’s no recent news that she had to think this way.
He’s alive, He’s alive. She assured herself inwardly and it was working as it cooled down her nerves .
“Are you okay, should we call the doctor?” The twins asked worriedly but Madison shook her head.
“I’m okay”
“You’re really making us worried or is it the pregnancy symptoms. Are they finally acting up” Amelia raised one of her brows and it was Amanda’s turn to smack her head.
“How could you do that? Don’t you know your hands are made of metal” Amelia whined holding her head.
“Why would you bring up the pregnancy. Be serious for once” Amanda scolded.
“Here you go again. Between the both of us who looks mature. Obviously I’m the one” Amelia said defending herself.
“Mature….. Hehehe.. you make me laugh. I’m always the one condoning your excesses” Amanda also said.
“I’m mature you just don’t want to admit it” Amelia stick out her tongue at her.
“Mature my foot. I am the mature one between us both” Amanda said.
“It’s okay. Can’t you see she’s stressed and you’re worsening it” Anastasia yelled from the door and the twins turned to her.
“She started it” They pointed hands at each other like little children.
“Maddie where did you get your crazy friends from” Anastasia said walking in and they both pouted their lips.
“Ana” Madison muttered remembering the slight imagination she had.
“I’m sorry I came late but it was because of school” Anastasia said and Madison smiled.
“It’s fine”
“The doctor said you can get discharged so I volunteered to take you home” Anastasia and Madison nodded.
TWO HOURS LATER, ARMSTRONG MANSION*
Madison arrived in the mansion alongside Anastasia . Amelia and Amanda already went back home.
Madison saw Lora at the base of the stairs but the woman didn’t bother coming close to her, she just turned and went through the direction of the kitchen.
“You can just go wash up. I will be the one to prepare your food. Leave it to me” Anastasia beat her chest and Madison chuckled.
“Okay Miss Chef” Madison teased.
Madison went up to the room and she looked around. Everything still looked the same. Nothing changed at all.
She chuckled as she remembered how she and Neil would always fight everyday.
She had a quick shower and then wore a yellow floral gown before gonna downstairs. Thankfully Anastasia was done cooking.
She made some pasta and Hotdogs. They sat in the dining room to eat and then Aunt Marie came to join them.
“Hey where’s my own food” She asked but they both kept eating without looking up.
“I guess I am not talking to myself. I’m hungry so where’s my own portion of the food you cooked” She asked again.
“You know the way to the kitchen so go prepare your food” Anastasia replied.
She squeezed her face and then she went to Anastasia and grabbed her by the hair.
“You little snake. How dare you talk back at me huh- you’ve suddenly gotten the effontry” Anastasia held her wrist but Marie kept pulling her hair.
“Let me go” Anastasia winced .
“Arrrggghh” Marie finally let go of her hair when Anastasia bit her hand after getting a hold of it.
“How could you do that?” She yelled.
“You started it. I only told you to go prepare your own food but you’re hellbent on causing trouble” Anastasia hissed and tucked herself back to her seat to continue eating her food.
“And you. You’re keeping quiet like it doesn’t affect you” Marie said referring to Madison.
Madison looked up at her and said, “what do you want me to say? I’m tired of having to deal with a mad woman all day. I’m not a psychiatric doctor” She said indirectly insulting her.
Anastasia couldn’t hold her laughter and she laughed out loud adding more to Marie humiliation.
“You won’t talk better. Better that way” And Madison returned to the food she was eating.
Aunt Marie stomped her foot angrily and she hissed Loudly before storming off from the dining room.
“Wow Maddie you did a great job. Did you see the look on her face. It had risen to that of a bloated goat” Anastasia laughed.
“How can you say that. She’s your aunt” Madison cautioned.
“But she’s behaving like a psycho. She doesn’t respect herself so I don’t think I can do the same to her” Anastasia rolled her eyes.
“I think now I have more appetite to eat after seeing her so embarrassed” Madison chuckled as Anastasia stuffed more food into her mouth.
“You’re so crazy” Madison shook her head.

Donovan was on his phone while Reed was acting flirty online when Sean barged into the room panting so hard.
“What’s up with you. Did you run a marathon” Reed asked looking up from his phone.
“We’re really bad friends. How we not know that our friend is really facing a lot and we’re just chilling out” Sean said and Reed furrowed his brow.
“Who’s that. Nothing is wrong with any of us or is it Neil. Thought he was on his honeymoon” Donovan asked also turning his attention to them.
“He’s back. ” Sean asked and Reed stood up.
“So that dude is back and he didn’t care to tell us. Wait till I cast a glance at him. I will bless him and a punch” Reed said folding his fist like he was ready for a fight.
“Wait Reed that’s not it. He’s in Texas but not fully in Texas” Sean said confusing them both.
“What are you saying now. How can he be back and not back. Are you crazy or drunk” Reed asked.
“He had an accident. The plane crash two days ago. Neil was a victim” Sean blurted and their eyes bulged out.
“What?” They yelled at the same time.
“It hasn’t been confirmed if he’s dead or not but there’s a higher possibility that he’s dead” Sean said.
“That’s not true. Neil can’t die like that. I won’t believe till I see that bastard by myself. He would be at home resting maybe” Reed Said not wanting to believe it.
“I’m really said the truth” Sean raised his voice and Reed punched him.
“I told you that he can’t die. You’re lying. Neil is at home. You’re playing a prank on us right” Reed said a drop of tear falling from his eyes.
“I’m going to meet him. He has to tell me that he’s okay. He’ll smile at him and tell me that it’s a lie” Reed said trying to leave the house but Donovan held his shoulder.
“I think Sean is lying” Donovan held him. He’s also pained but he was trying to act strong.
“Didn’t you hear him. He might still be alive so I want to go and confirm” Reed said breaking down in front of Donovan while he placated him.
“We’ll confirm later, Neil is fine” Donovan assured him while he cried on his shoulder.
ARMSTRONG MANSION*
A car drove into the mansion and four legs came down. Two in heels and the other two in a polished black leather shoe.
Their faces came to view and then it was Georgia at first who had her usual a cunning smile on her face.
She walked to the other side of the car where the other figure was standing and then she linked arms with him.
It was Neil……
They walked into the mansion and the guards and maids around kept murmuring cause they also heard the rumor so they were confused.
They walked into the luxurious parlour where Madison and Anastasia were watching a Movie.
They had a bowl of popcorn each in their hands but it fell down when they saw who was before them.
Neil. He was looking so hale and hearty. He didn’t looked like someone who survived a plane crash but what was he doing with Georgia.
Something was off about him. His expression. He looked so aloof and naive.
But Madison was excited to see him. The fact that he didn’t die and was alive. He even came back.
She jumped up from her chair rushing to him about to hug him but he pushed her back.
It brought a smile to Georgia’s face. The show she had been waiting for.
“Neil it’s me Madison” Madison said confused as why he would push her away.
“So” He simply replied and she creased her brow.
“Aren’t you excited to see me. I’m your wife Madison” She went to him again but this time he pushed her back hard and she fell to the floor.
“I don’t know you and you’re not my wife” Neil replied with a hard expression on his face.
